Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Director of IT Special Projects. I lead enterprise deployments and implement minimum viable product (MVP) while ensuring the clients are well versed with these newly released products.

For what projects/services did your company hire SELK, and what were your goals?

We have a bespoke website that holds a database with archived contents dating back to the early 1900. Since we are the central repository for a lot of data we had very minimal flexibility. We could not afford to lose access to our data even for a short period. To add to it, we were faced with a multitude of evolving requirements. The project had six major goals:

1. Capitalize on the new business opportunity.
2. Integrate existing services with newer ones.
3. Deliver the project with zero service disruptions while ensuring strict timeframes/ budgets.
4. Capture new demographics.
5. Increase traffic to our website.
6. Bring in additional revenue.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

None of the third party vendors were able to effectively resolve our issues. It has been a bottleneck for quite some time. We were looking for a vendor with an in-depth Drupal web development experience and someone who could handle extremely complex system architecture. And lastly, as with most projects, project cost and timelines were extremely important.

We were able to leverage the new business opportunity and scaled our business model. All existing modules were integrated together leading to a unified customer experience. We also increased traffic to our website by 50% more and were able to capture newer demographics audiences.
