I am the Operational Director for a Group that has online Shopify Plus consumer eCommerce stores. Our sales footprint is currently in South Africa.

The company has been growing steadily over the past 5 years, however, we hadn't previously managed to achieve our Digital Marketing goals and objectives. We had tried several Digital Marketing agencies in the past, with all simply wanting to be put on a retainer with no accountability for results. Selfcraft Media is fully engaged and partner with us in achieving our Digital Marketing objectives.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to improve the type, depth, coverage and performance of our Digital Marketing initiatives. Enlarge our use of keywords and improve their organic ranking on Google to page 1 (Goal top 5)

How did you select this vendor?

We interacted with many Digital Agencies over a 6 month period and provided each Agency with a small Digital Marketing Brief to implement over a 6 weeks period. We then evaluated the performance of the Digital Marketing initiative, how they engaged with our organisation as well as the cost-effectiveness of the solution. We then shortlisted 3 agencies to move into a more detailed requirement. At the end of the evaluation process, Selfcraft Media was selected as our Digital Marketing Agency.

• Determine rich keywords and SEO friendly terms to maximize impact
• Complete a “Googlization” of the site including Google Webmasters Tools, Google My Business set-up, Gmail account set-up, Search Console integration, Google Analytics set-up an integration,
• On Page and Off Page SEO optimization tracking keyword performance on a daily basis.

• Ensure Social Sharing integration – FB like,Instagram,Youtube and Twitter.

We have work teams that engage with Selfcraft Media on a project and task by task basis. I engage with the owner on a regular (weekly and daily) basis to track progress, resolve issues and formulate next strategic imperatives

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

For the 3 Quarter of 2019, we achieved a ROAS in excess of 1000% which was way above our wildest expectation. Some of our online business achieved a ROAS of 1287% We have achieved significant progress on our organic keyword ranking in terms of Top 1, Top 3 and Top 5 positions.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Project Collaboration is always a challenge especially when there is strict deadlines and deliverables. We make use of all the effective collaboration tools such as Skype, Google Hangouts, Slack, Asana to ensure we are as effective and efficient as possible. Selfcraft media always made themselves available especially during difficult and crunch periods - such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

They go the extra mile to ensure success.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As a client you always want things to be done faster and more inexpensively without compromising on quality. As with all things, there's room for us all to improve and grow as we progress along with this incredible eCommerce wave of growth,
