Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a CTIO (chief technology innovation officer) at Screen Network S.A. I’m responsible for Think DOOH - special unit in the structure of the Screen Network (the biggest Digital OOH company in Poland), which goal is to create innovative advertising solutions for DOOH screens.


For what projects/services did your company hire Selectivv?

Increasing awareness of the offer of winter trips to Austria in a precisely defined target group.

What were your goals for this project?

To achieve the assumed goal of the campaign, we decided to precisely define the audience and use in innovation way both outdoor and mobile possibilities and synergy.

We wanted to reach people who would actually be interested in traveling to Austria and could afford it. We defined our target as people aged 25+, interested in sports and who have visited countries such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Italy for the past year.

At the end we wanted also retarget people who had opportunity to see campaign on digital out-of-home screens with mobile advertisement.


How did you select this vendor?

It was possible using mobile data and Selectivv GeotrappingⓇ technology to identify our target group from other residents/audience. Selectivv has the data base which covers 14 million deeply profiled mobile users in Poland, based on behaviors on smartphones and locations they visited.

We talked a few times about technology, possibilities, and their experience. Selectivv was always available and eager to answer all questions.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Using the SaaS Selectivv Viewer solution, we determined the advertising potential of the location in the largest cities in Poland, where our DOOH screens are located.

In the campaign we used only places with the highest advertising potential (i.e. the most users with a specific profile stayed in these locations during the year). We broadcast advertising there both on digital media and on mobile devices. Using the Selectivv Geotrapping® service, we collected a database of people who clicked on the creative on mobile device and later we realized the second stage of activity – retargeting.

It consisted in the issue of advertising on smartphones and tablets regardless of the current location of recipients.

What was the team composition?

We joined forces of our team and Selectivv traffic specialists to implement precisely targeted campaign on DOOH screens & mobile. Both teams contacted regularly to optimise campaign in the best way and achieve the best possible results.


Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

During the month of the campaign, out of 8 000 000 digital screen recipients, we reached about 70 000 users potentially interested in visiting Austria. The unconventional solution allowed us to reach the audience of mobile advertising at the level of 29.83%.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

#FeelAustria is the first campaign in Poland that integrates mobile and outdoor advertising. We have combined rich media mobile advertising (8 and 10-second video spots) and Digital OOH located in urban space. As a result of using these two media and Big Data with Selectivv DMP, we have determined and reached the right recipients optimally and effectively.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Selectivv and mobile data can do much more than just help reach the specific audiences in the right place at the right time. Their mobile and location data helped us with planning, activation, and measurement during the whole campaign.
