We hired SeeResponse to help us generate leads. Due to the nature of our product, we are not yet in a position to serve the entire market. This meant that I had to present SeeResponse with a complex list of suppression requirements.

What were your goals for this project?

We currently require SeeResponse to deliver at least 500 viable leads per week, and that number is rising fast as our sales team grows.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

It was our CEO who selected SeeResponse, and to be honest, I am not certain how he connected with them. I do know we had been very disappointed with the other vendors we had tried. We had resorted to doing lead generation entirely in-house, and it was proving to be an unsustainable solution.

This project was quite straightforward. We delivered the suppression lists to SeeResponse, and they delivered a stream of viable leads.

What was the team composition?

We are a very small company. I am responsible for lead generation with the oversight of our CEO, and I am supported by a part-time intern.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The first batch of leads we received was not quite what we wanted. It included several contacts at many of the unique schools, and as we mostly do cold calls by phone at this stage, we require fewer contacts at a greater number of unique schools.

There were also a number of schools that were not a good fit for us at this time. I was able to work with Sheena, my contact at SeeResponse, to refine our suppression list and requirements, and the second batch of leads was infinitely better!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow with SeeResponse is effortless. We place our batch orders, they deliver. If the results need refinement, negotiations are friendly and effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I find SeeResponse's flexibility and willingness to adapt remarkable. I don't know exactly what combination of tech and human wizardry they are using to find leads, but I do know that the results are impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Our process is to order large batches - say two or three thousand leads - and have them delivered piecemeal over the course of a few weeks. Sometimes the weekly delivery doesn't hit the 500 we want, but SeeResponse always delivers the complete batch (with a few extra to account for closed schools, etc.) by the final due date.

They reached out to us and delivered their service pitch very effectively. Based on their ability to do that, we figured that they’re able to do their job well. After running a test case with them, they delivered the results we were looking for. That encouraged us to hire them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the collaboration in July 2019, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After three months, we’ve received an increase in leads as a response to their efforts. We have a custom panel for them to book demos directly with our sales reps, and that system has worked well.

The quality of the leads has improved over the course of the engagement, too. Initially, we had to do some poking and prodding to get things right. However, after some early feedback, they were able to make adjustments on the fly and conquer that learning curve.  

How did SeeResponse perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always very responsive, which has been helpful in our efforts to integrate them into our workflow. They were very communicative, providing us a Trello board containing status updates, feedback, and tasks. We’re doing things with them that they haven’t done before, but it’s still easy to manage because of this system.

Their willingness to try new things has really helped us out. We offer different services than they’re used to, and they were willing to give it a shot. They’ve been working hard to make the engagement a win-win situation for us both.

We have an upcoming meeting with them where we’ll discuss how to ramp up even more. Our team wants to increase our volume with them.

SeeResponse drafts the graphics, landing pages, and any other content, then we provide our own feedback before the launch. Their team handles the quality control and campaign reporting on the projects.

They had one project manager who was our main point of contact. On the SEO front, they aligned with our senior SEO executive, one content editor, and one junior SEO implementation specialist. The email marketing team was primarily guided by the project manager. We did not deal directly with anyone else in regards to email marketing.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within the first month, they fixed the entire back-end of the three websites and technical issues from an SEO perspective. Within the first three months, 9 of the 20 keywords featured in the top 10 with 2 keywords in the top 3 ranking. Within the first 6 months, 16 keywords featured in the top 10 with 11 keywords in the top 3 ranking. Organic traffic on site increased from 4% of overall traffic to 21% of overall traffic. Six to 7 email campaigns launched successfully every month and 250+ leads were generated for the sales team every month via email marketing.

We are a leading digital marketing and technology agency that enables marketers to acquire and engage with their customers.

For what projects/services did your company hire SeeResponse?

We were looking for a partner to help us build a custom contact list to support our client's outbound marketing efforts. This project was challenging as the client needed contacts with specific titles, from specific industries, and from companies with a certain range of revenue. Hence, we needed to find the right partner who could deliver this at scale within aggressive timelines and within our budget. 

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a minimum 85% deliver-ability rate for contacts delivered, 20,000 contacts delivered within two weeks, and all contacts needed to match the set criteria 100%. All contacts also needed to be backed with data for all pre-decided hears.

How did you select this vendor?

After speaking to and considering seven different vendors, we shortlisted SeeResponse. They were the only company that committed to meeting our requirements and clearly demonstrated their capabilities. They accommodated all our requests related to sample contacts, header field additions, and more.

We started off with a discovery call. We were impressed because they sent out an agenda ahead of the call, which gave us time to be ready for their questions. They had a great information/requirement gathering sheet which they filled in collaboration with us. From there, they provided us the project plan to outline the number of batches they'll deliver and their frequency. We provided them detailed feedback after the first batch and they did a fantastic job in incorporating it. Their team ensured all future batches were adhered to. Finally, everything was high-quality and delivered on-time as promised.

What was the team composition?

We worked closely with two folks from the SeeReponse team Both of them were very professional and ensured that our project was completed to our satisfaction.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Their custom contact lists had about 90% deliver-ability rate, which was awesome. They even replaced the remaining 10% with fresh contacts for no charge.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The founder was directly involved in the initial phase and then the project was handed over to their project manager. The founder ensured that she was updated on all email communications and she also attended our weekly calls. Their project manager was highly competent and professional.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were impressed by their thorough process, communication skills, quick and accurate incorporation of feedback, quality of work delivered, and high delivery-ability rate.
