Seedium's role was developing invoicing functionality, which covered connecting external API, PDF export, preview, etc. We have worked in close cooperation with client and back-end developers and tried not only to implement features but also to be proactive in possible optimizations suggestions. For the front-end part, our team used React.js and TypeScript.
As a result, the project was successfully implemented and released to production.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the owner of a small digital agency in Switzerland called Nusign. We do client projects, and we build self-initiated products with a strong focus on user experience.
For what projects/services did your company hire Seedium, and what were your goals?
We have been building a new SaaS product called Picflow together, which is meanwhile a very sophisticated application with very complex architecture.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We posted a job online, and after shortlisting, we started the interviews. The assessment took multiple rounds which involved a deep dive into requirements, price estimations and planning the road map together. Very early on it was quite clear that Seedium popped out with detailed questions, estimations and in general, being super nice people. The chemistry was there.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Because the scope of work was huge, we tailored multiple packages together. Each package required an analysis, collaboration and implementation. Overall Seedium delivered conceptual work, backend code (Node.js), AWS Architecture and integrations to multiple tools like Stripe, Auth0 and Marketing Automation Software.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There were multiple people involved for different purposes. Firstly, a manager who was present for business-related topics like estimations, planning and billing. Secondly, a senior backend developer who worked full time and with whom we had daily standups.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We now have a running SaaS application with clean and performant backend code and all integrations to our authentication service, billing system, marketing automation and CRM works perfectly. We are very happy with the outcome and can't wait to extend it!
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Project management was very flexible. While building a new product that was very helpful so we could update the scope and priorities on the fly to match the project's needs. We used mainly Slack, GitLab, Asana, Miro and maybe a few other tools to collaborate.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They were very professional, forward-thinking, and pleasant to work with. We had the feeling that they were part of the team and with skin-in-the-game. That stood out from other experiences I had with some partners.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We had Retrospectives after every package and the manager frequently asked about what to improve/change. Things we optimized during the project were minor things like planning and how to define requirements together. Towards the end of the project, everything was running smoothly like a swiss watch.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the founder of a Saas company in its MVP stage.
For what projects/services did your company hire Seedium, and what were your goals?
We've hired Seedium to help us develop the front-end of our MVP based on a detailed brief and a Figma design.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We've talked to a bunch of different vendors, Seedium were the ones we had the best feel about, and in fact we were right. We had them to a small test task, and once it was completed we continued to a full contract.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
SEEDIUM seemed like a good choice from the start. We've sent them a detailed brief and a Figma design, and they in return invited us for a call with a project manager and a developer. The call went great, and they provided back an estimation of the project's scope. We set it all up and began working together. The developer we got assigned was super professional, attentive and responsive. He even gave some great suggestions on how we can improve the user experience even more. Overall, we're super happy with the service we got, and we'd like to hire SEEDIUM again in the future.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We've worked directly with two persons: a project manager and a developer, but the code was reviewed by a third member we had no contact with.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We're happy with the result we got from Seedium
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We used Slack for ongoing communication and Upwork for payment.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Just the fact that they were super professional
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Could have been cool if they worked with other more simple tech like WordPress etc.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the founder of a New Zealand based accounting software start-up.
For what projects/services did your company hire Seedium, and what were your goals?
We required invoicing and client management functionality for our account software. The goal was to develop this functionality to a production ready state where it could be rolled out to our customers.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found them through Upwork and invited them to provide a proposal for the project. We compared their proposals with other providers and determined that they provided good value and communication.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project consisted of providing the front-end development for invoicing and client management functionality. Invoicing consisted of enabling our users to create, edit and manage their own invoices for their business. As well as being able to customise the invoice, preview the invoice and download a PDF of the invoice to send to clients.
Client management consisted of providing users with the ability to add client details into the software and assign those details to an invoice. The software is a web application using .NET and React. The project consisted of scoping the development based on designs and collaborating with our back end develop to develop production ready software.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with one front-end developer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We were able to deliver a key new feature for our customers quickly and of a high quality.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The project management and collaboration with our team was great. We communicated via Slack, Zoom and Trello. They completed the project within the provided timeframe.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We had direct access with the developer and he collaborated well with the team, provided good suggestions and displayed genuine ownership of the product.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing that comes to mind. They regularly asked for feedback during the project and quickly implemented our suggestions.

Web Design & Dev for Home Renovation Company
"Their designs were really clean, and the aesthetics were really nice. "

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Welcome Renovation. Our company offers full-services for kitchen, bath, and home renovation projects. We handle everything from the design to reconstruction. Our business is unique because of how quickly we complete projects.
What challenge were you trying to address with Seedium?
I wanted a clean, straightforward, and easy-to-use website for my company. It is important to our business that our users understand our product through our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Seedium handled the website design. The team managed everything from the frontend to the backend.
What is the team composition?
I mainly communicated with Misha (Founder & Team Lead).
How did you come to work with Seedium?
A few years ago, I met them when they responded to a job posting that I created on Upwork. At my past companies, they completed two websites for me. I knew Misha would be the best fit for this project, and I didn’t need to look anywhere else.
How much have you invested with them?
For this specific project, we’ve spent right around $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working on this project in June 2020, and we finished in October 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Seedium understood what I was looking for on our website. We’ve had a good working relationship in the past, and Misha understands my aesthetic.
The first concept they presented was nearly perfect. I was blown away by how quickly it all came together, and I didn’t know what to expect. I'm a very particular person when it comes to design, but they nailed it.
I couldn’t be happier with my website. It is clean and straightforward. Everyone that visited the site understood our product and process.
How did Seedium perform from a project management standpoint?
They are really good, and I’ll give them 10/10. I never had any sort of communication issues with Misha. He speaks perfect English, which was really helpful for the project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I don’t have a lot of experience in the field, but they were like a one-stop-shop for me. I didn’t have to communicate with various people, Misha handled all of that. Their designs were really clean, and the aesthetics were really nice. The team also kept pushing back on things that I thought would be better.
They would explain that this is not the best route for X, Y, or Z, and ultimately, I could make my own decision. I’d say that 9 out of 10 things that they would say is much better than what I was thinking. It is best to agree with them because they made a lot of sense.
Everything worked really well for me. Many people would’ve just done what I asked for, but at the end of the day, Seedium challenged some of my ideas, and I’m happy they did that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have a lot of experience working with other web designers. Their speed could improve, but I’m not skilled in this area.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be very clear with your design intent, or you can provide good examples of websites that are relevant to that website that you are looking for. The team at Seedium is creative and original. There are other people out there who will just copy things, but these guys certainly did not.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a SaaS founder and CEO of Smarter Contact which is an SMS marketing tool for real estate investors.
For what projects/services did your company hire Seedium, and what were your goals?
I remember vividly in 2019, I had my startup built my a full stack developer from upwork. This dev built the entire software front to back only to find out one day he disappeared and I had no one to maintain the software. And to make matters worse I found the code was built in a monolithic and sloppy way making the code extremely difficult to maintain.
At this time I already had business and customers relying on the software so shutting down wasn't an option. I tried a few developers and NONE were able to maintain...and enter Seedium.
How did you select Seedium and what were the deciding factors?
It is with the highest pleasure that I get to write this review of Misha and his team. To preface this review, I have hired dozens of developers over the years on Upwork. Misha took my project treating it like his own and their work far exceeded my expectations.
Along the process him and his team became an invaluable resource, trusted partners and someone I consider a lifelong friend. Their excellent communication was a staple that we built and further grew into trust and results.
We would have weekly huddles that made things clear and set the direction of the project. The tasks and progress were well managed, articulate, straightforward and the team was easy to work with.
They also have a centralized office with in-house developers which also made things highly productive. Do NOT make the mistake of hiring another dev shop...These guys are truly a gem and will work with your project to achieve the highest standards so you build it once.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We managed the project in steps of first stabilitizing the system. From there we had to add developers to solve the bugs and add features to the system.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
In all we have a team of 6 FT employees including (3 back end devs, 1 front end, 1 QA, 1PM). Misha served as the PM and one thing that was most noteable, I was in the US and even with time difference he worked most nights until 9-10PM in Ukraine time from his home to make sure our project was succesfful.
THAT is the level of dedication that makes this company truly stand out. I am grateful for my work with Seedium and offer my highest recommendation.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our software has increased by 5X in revenue since we first hired seedium and have gained a massive market share. The software is stable and performs optimally given the difficult and hard to manage legacy code.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
We initially used Trello but moved to Jira for better managed springs and systematic agile approach
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their dedication, their professionalism, their friendship through the process.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I am a very critical person and have hired hundreds of people in my professional career. If I could find some points of improvement I would say it but Seedium are truly the best in the industry.

Mobile and Web Development for a Networking App

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Our company released a collaborating platform that helped women entrepreneurs find high-quality brand partnerships with female-founded businesses. I'm the founder.
What challenge were you trying to address with Seedium?
I wanted someone who could develop our product. I hoped to find a vendor who could work quickly and stay within our budget.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When I approached them, all I had was the prototype. They developed our entire platform from scratch, and they built us a custom website that synched to the app. We don't offer in-app purchases, so the site allows users to manage their account. Users can upgrade or downgrade their account level, add a payment method, or purchase additional credits for the app.
The platform is built for both iOS and Android, and they also created an admin panel for our team. We can see the number of live and pending users in real time, and it shows analytics of user locations, industries, and active and completed collaborations.
What is the team composition?
I've had direct contact with the lead developer and their owner. The owner acts as a project manager, and I have the impression there are multiple team members who work behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with Seedium?
I posted the opportunity on Upwork and received around 25 proposals. Seedium's approach was the most professional, and they tailored their response to our project. They took the time to learn about my needs before reaching out, and their skillset, portfolio, and communication seemed like a really good fit for our team. I'm not an expert, so I asked one of our consultants to vet them. They established that Seedium was an experienced, quality vendor.
How much have you invested with them?
For the development, website, custom building, and the custom admin panel, we spent just under $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in November 2018. The first version of the app is complete, but we plan to start work on version two in fall 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I had nothing before we started, and they helped get us on our feet. I have a lot of user feedback sessions, and users are always impressed by the app and how it works.
How did Seedium perform from a project management standpoint?
They managed the project well. We were in daily contact and usually had a weekly call. I always knew what they were working on and what was coming next. They used Jira, and they were easy to reach. I've been blessed with a great experience, and I've referred them to multiple people.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Seedium's professionalism and genuine care really set them apart from other companies. If I was ever disappointed by an element, they fixed it quickly. They were flexible, their communication was strong, and they always had ideas that would make the product better.
Are there any areas they could improve?
At one point, they ran behind and didn't let me know in advance. All I'd ask is that they make sure they keep me updated if they foresee missing a milestone.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have weekly meetings with them. Work out a good schedule with them so you can have some overlap for those meetings.
