Search Schematic was hired to undertake a comprehensive digital marketing and branding overhaul for our business. They started with a brand audit and designed a new, modern logo that reflects our identity and resonates with our target audience. The next major task was a complete revamp of our website - creating a user-friendly, responsive site with SEO-optimized content to drive traffic and improve our organic search engine rankings. 

The website was designed with a strong focus on converting visitors into leads and ultimately clients, complete with optimized call-to-actions and clear user journeys. Alongside this, they managed our social media marketing, creating a content strategy to increase engagement, reach, and brand awareness across various platforms.

The issues on our website were dealt with, and an overall marketing strategy that included social media marketing, PR & SEM was implemented by Knock Knock Digital.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

From 0 search visibility, our website now ranks on the first page for many keywords and is ranking 1st-page 1st rank for a few keywords. We didn't see any results for the first 3 or 4 months, but Mannie from Knock Knock Digital was regularly in contact with us and explaining us the process.

Then calls and emails started to come in without PPC. After some time, the calls and emails started to pour in. Knock Knock Digital kept us very busy even in the current crisis. We are grateful.

I’m the principal of a contracting company based in New York.

What challenge were you trying to address with Knock Knock Digital?

A few years ago, we had issues with our existing website. Our platform needed to be fixed and it was even blacklisted by Google because it had malware. It was difficult for our company then because we relied on our website for some business. As for marketing, we initially had a partner who handled PPC and SEO needs.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Knock Knock Digital fixed our website when it was blacklisted. The team redesigned and developed our website. It took them about a week to fix the issues that we had. They take care of our site's landing page and ensure that keywords remain relevant. They do keywords around facade restoration and basement waterproofing for our business.

Now, the team is in charge of its maintenance and they also provide us with SEO, PPC campaigns, and digital marketing services.

What is the team composition?

Aside from Manny (Managing Director), we know two people from their team and we’re not sure how many people are there. However, he has a different firm now which he started in early 2020.

We contacted three firms and received proposals, all of which were referred to us by friends or family. We thought Manny had the best pitch and idea so that’s why we decided to go with him.

We’ve spent around $50,000–$100,000.

Our ongoing engagement started in June 2016.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were happy with the work they put in when they initially redesigned our website back then. And the ongoing SEO and PPC campaigns are working well for the business. We’re thrilled that some of our keywords immediately appear on the first page when you search our name on Google.

Thanks to Knock Knock Digital’s efforts, we see a steady improvement in the average number of daily calls coming in. Our company has invested a lot in PPC which is paying off based on the quality of calls coming in.

The PPC project is focusing a lot more on masonry and facade restoration, and the people calling regarding those are serious. End users are inquiring about our commercial projects, which is a big segment for us. Our sales have definitely increased since they started working with us, too.

Since we've developed a great relationship with Knock Knock Digital, we could reach out to Manny anytime through his personal contact information. We communicate through phone calls, text, and email then they would give weekly to monthly updates regarding our keywords. Everything is going well in terms of communication.

They are good with what they do and it’s helping our business. We’ve been with them for four years now and we will continue to work with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We can’t think of anything right now. Over the years we’ve worked with them, we saw how Knock Knock Digital improved so there’s not a lot of problems to date.

It depends on the service that you are looking for. SEO takes time and if you communicate with them, you’d know the process. Based on our experience, we trust them on that and they deliver great results.

We have an excellent menu, and we wanted Knock Knock Digital to use digital marketing channels to get the locals aware of our restaurants and start getting us foot traffic and delivery orders online.

SEO and Social Media Marketing are the two channels very important to us. We were looking for companies that have excelled in both previously. Knock Knock Digital has achieved top positions on Google for their clients in very competitive cities like New York City and has excellent references for social media marketing.

Knock Knock Digital did an excellent job with our first branch opening. We had a cue outside of our restaurant and over 2000 views of our Google Business listing on the first day. We had people sharing our Facebook posts, liking, tagging their family and friends, commenting, and messaging us. Excellent work, something we believe would not have been achieved without the great effort of the Knock Knock Digital team.
