International telecom company commitments with group cultures and policies, works hardly to enhance digital services to own customers and keep image is bright as what its' planned mission, And search always for qualification skills and capabilities which believe by its' vision and keep on loyalty and responsibility. I have worked with them since more of 12 years as Senior Engineer and leader for many projects which ERS upgrade is one of them.

For what projects/services did your company hire Seamless Distribution Systems AB?

The main system which support electronic recharge service over different channels (USSD/SMS/WEB) and recently will support Mobile Application, additional to the recent digital and operational features which facilitate deals in market with our dealers and manage their transactions.

What were your goals for this project?

Produce unique friendly service and to cover the digital world.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We displayed our business case and our vision, then Seamless proposed the product charter including the HW description based on delivered deamination, after we checked the feasibility study agreed on ERS solution which include recurring upgrade versions to cover 360 degree of services.

ERS provided transfer vouchers(TOPUP[R2S] Transfer [R2R] , P2P ) through many channels (USSD/SMS/Portal)additional to WSDL package to serve the 3PP nodes from our side, there was some customized requirements for the proposed services to align with our business needs as sales and marketing(P2P mechanism, hierarchy structures between distributors & Dealers, Defining Contract (standard/Special), Defining denominations (Ranges/products),CelliD and Restriction based on Ranges/Types....)additional to SLA severity level after delivering the product to keep service stability. and recently we forward to include new digital services such VAS Bundles, more control services on dealer's balance, campaign system, and other new marketing seamless's products.

What was the team composition?

Project team had about ten people (PM, Delegate PM, Developers, implementation team, Tester team ) and they had flexible skills and cooperated soul and worked as a teamwork with us, there was a strict following up and always touch and recurring meetings between our side and their project management to stay aligned with agreed project plan and keep on same page.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our project completion was a challenge for our executive leadership, board of directors, and investors, And in real, we can say; we have achieved a stable service in our competitive market regarding electronic recharge & high availability service for our customers.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project team was commitment, and cooperated to stay stuck with agreed plan and deadline, and he was facilitating communication and meeting with us since we were working virtually, and we were work hardly to cover any blocking point and agree on proper solutions.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They keep their services available and stable for 24 hours. They intervene rapidly when necessary to solve any problem and improve our customer's experience.

Are there any areas for improvement?

we enhanced many gaps which noted through the deeply control procedures which applied by our side and supported by the poroper solutions and fixes by seamless support. As long as we still work in the digital world, there will be continuous improvements to maintain excellence and uniqueness

I am COO at Smart Digital Technologies Sc Ethiopia. We are engaged in the Digital distribution of mobile airtime recharge in Ethiopia.

We hire Seamless distribution systems for the implementation of Electronic Recharge system in Ethiopia. It was successfully completed the project implementation and Go Live since August 2019.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to be the best electronic mobile airtime distribution company in Ethiopia that own 25% of the market share of airtime in the country.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

we have searched and got the company online and company the company profile with other world leader electronic distribution company. Finally we have selected Seamless and contracted for the implementation of ERS 360.

Describe the project in detail.

In this project, with Seamless project team, we have passed through requirement gathering and identified some system customization to fit the system to our reality. Finally Seamless developed the required application, set up the hardware and software configuration on site and done all the required integration with telecom operator third party system. At last user acceptance testing has been done and the system Go live.

What was the team composition?

In our side, we were established a team from business and IT. Also assign one focal person that communicate with seamless project team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since Go live, we are progressively increase our sales and transaction conducted through this platform. Now we have reached an average of Thirty Thousand transaction per day with few months.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our project team was closely work with the counter team of Seamless team very smoothly. There was an effective communication via Email, Phone and Conference call. A frequent update was provided to all relevant person from both parties.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I appreciate the project management methodology and approach of the company. The team members are capable, delivering the best possible solution for the client.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We are good with seamless service delivery. One thing we need to be improved by seamless, to improve the delivery time for the system customization request we initiated post go live. The process of the customization is a bit lengthy.
