Seal Global Holdings essentially increased my online presence by developing a website and creating my social media channels. I’ve never set up an e-commerce website, so I’m very satisfied with what they’ve been able to deliver — they implemented the functions and features that I needed to make the platform look professional. I’m surprised by the level of detail they put into the development and how they treat it as if it’s their own.

They took my business to the next level and the website helps portray my company as a valid one to my customers.

We receive more traffic, and our website’s placed higher search results on Google. Seal Global has made many changes that have positively impacted our visibility. Since their team transitioned our website to Shopify, we’ve received excellent feedback. They help us quite a bit.

Our customers often spoke to us through email or phone calls, so we were trying to enhance our ordering process and have a platform where our stakeholders could log in and place their orders.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The main goal of the ordering system was to have our inventory within it and reduce human errors.  The Seal Global Holdings team created a form where our third-party customers could go in, fill out a form online, and populate other forms for them.

Instead of having to sign multiple forms every single time, the system fills out the other forms too, which involved the participation of our internal team, pharmacies, and physicians. It also enabled them to sign digitally.

I only had one point person in this project.

A friend of mine had used them before and was just very happy with Seal Global Holdings. I had some bad experiences with developers overseas, so when my friend gave me a glowing review of Seal Global Holdings, I thought I should give them a shot.

Our project ran from December 2020–February 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We just went live this Friday and I was pleased with their work. They came through and created exactly what I asked for. However, it’s still too soon to tell if the system is going to make a difference or not. Furthermore, we’re still making a few changes as far as graphics are concerned.

We usually met with our main point of contact every morning and had quick meetings on the project’s progress and deliverables. Moreover, I could reach them almost any time through Skype, and we were always in constant contact. Most of all, they were always available any time I had a question or I wanted to change something.

They were not familiar with the field that we were in, but they quickly grasped and understood what we wanted. As a result, they were able to put together what we needed without having a deep understanding of our business. Above all, when they missed things, they quickly fixed them.

They did well. We haven’t beta-tested yet to make sure everything functions, so we still have a couple of weeks to see that.

Be clear on your vision because it will make things smoother. Once you map things out and present them to Seal Global Holdings, it will be easier for everybody involved.

The most significant improvement since partnering with them is the 60%–70% increase in our revenue.

We’re thankful that their service fee includes everything. Our partnership is not a dedicated service, but a shared plan. Although they do offer a more dedicated model as far as I know.

Their project management is really awesome. I’m in touch with the team on Skype almost every single day. We use teamwork as our main management tool and whenever I have a request, I put it on there and they follow it up to complete the task.

What did you find most impressive about them?

To be honest, I haven’t really worked with any other company in this capacity. I tried to hire individuals for my company, but it was really difficult to peddle every single person. Sometimes they weren’t professional, or we didn't have the budget to hire anyone. We were really trying to improve ourselves but it wasn’t working as we intended.

However, Seal Global Holdings know exactly what they’re doing. Every single person in that team is an expert in their field. They make me relaxed because they can handle everything. Working with a comprehensive team like Seal Global Holdings is so much better.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can make improvements to their social media management service. The team member handling it is really helpful, but they can do it so much better. Compared to the other division of the team, they’re really good, but this is the only aspect that’s falling a bit behind.

Running ads for a small company like us means direct cash. Once you start running ads on Facebook, you start building your community and driving the revenue immediately. If they can handle it better and improve themselves, it will be so much better for the partnership.

I’m already telling all my colleagues that if they want to start their online business, they have to be in consistent communication all the time. You need to stay in touch with the team in person if you expect them to handle everything by themselves. Otherwise, they wouldn’t know anything about your business, your product, and your customer segment. Communication is key.

We wanted a partner that could help us in both e-commerce and digital marketing. One of the goals was not to go through a distributor because of the cost. We wanted to reduce the price of this IoT sensor system.

Our cost basis was figuring out how to have an e-commerce basis model that’s effective for B2B. It’s a little bit dangerous because, typically, industrial customers don’t buy a lot from e-commerce, but if the price range is right, we figured out that it is possible.

The idea was to work with a company with experience in e-commerce that could guide us to structure the e-commerce deal and guide us to do the detailed marketing for e-commerce.

I’m monitoring their activity daily. They’ve given me experienced people that I can trust. Their team primarily does what we tell them to do in many cases. That way if there’s a success or failure, it’s our strategy that is a failure or a success; they’re just advising us.

I can’t hold them responsible for failure or success. For them, a success metric is how quickly they can get the job done. They’ve done a lot for us starting from marketing promotion.

The problem is that we’re still strategizing many of them, and they’re executing our vision. If a campaign isn’t doing well, normally, I should be held responsible because I told them to do that. We’ve grown into a multi-million-dollar business in the last two years. They’re the backbone for our sales increase.
