PPC for Manufacturing Co
“Their communication has been much better than other firms we’ve worked with.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of sales and marketing for a manufacturing company.
What challenge were you trying to address with SCUBE Marketing?
We hired SCUBE Marketing to replace our previous marketing firm because they weren’t bringing us the most innovative and detailed strategies anymore.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve expanded our current channels by evaluating and segmenting our PPC campaigns. They manage all of our US and global PPC accounts. They’ve created detailed dashboards for each of our accounts. Each dashboard is about 20 pages long and gives us insight into how our campaigns are performing in real-time.
What is the team composition?
We work with Tom (Principal) and Hallie (Account Manager).
How did you come to work with SCUBE Marketing?
We found SCUBE Marketing on Clutch.
What is the status of this engagement?
They started working on our accounts in July 2020 and still do.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They provide significantly more value than our previous agency. They’ve been able to maintain or exceed our return on ad spend goals while increasing traffic to all of our sites, even in our slower months. The dashboards that they created allow us to dive into the nitty-gritty details of our campaigns.
How did SCUBE Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re easy to work with and take feedback very well. They understand our business needs, our priorities, and our timelines. Their communication has been much better than other firms we’ve worked with. They’ve done a great job outlining what they plan to do each month, following up in each call, and reviewing what they’ve achieved.
They’re quick to respond regardless of the day or time. If they don’t have an answer right away, they at least respond and then get back to me within a few hours.
I really appreciate that each dashboard outlines what they plan to accomplish each month. We also have bi-weekly calls and monthly meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their communication and attentiveness really impressed me. They work quickly and around our schedules. We’re a very fast-paced company and they’re very nimble. They listen to all of our feedback and make changes as quickly as they can.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any constructive feedback for them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d definitely recommend them. We went from a larger firm to a smaller firm, and it has worked out really well for us because SCUBE Marketing provides a lot of personalized attention. I’m sure that new clients won’t be disappointed with them.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of a company that manufactures optical accessories and ophthalmic consumables.
What challenge were you trying to address with SCUBE Marketing?
We wanted to attract more customers to our online presence.
What was the scope of their involvement?
SCUBE analyzed our website and target market. Their team performed a keyword analysis and measured our performance. After we came to an agreement, their team began to work on our site. They continue to manage SEO and PPC campaigns through Google Ads. They also adjust content on our website, enhancing it with keywords.
What is the team composition?
I work with Tom (Principal) but Hallie (Account Management) is our day-to-day contact.
How did you come to work with SCUBE Marketing?
The agency that built our website referred us to SCUBE.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend about $1,300 a month on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started our work in March 2020, and we’re still with them now.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since our partnership started, we've experienced an increase in traffic, conversions, and sales. It’s been absolutely great working with them. They know digital marketing extremely well.
How did SCUBE Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re excellent, managing the project front-to-back. We typically communicate via email but also touch base monthly over the phone. Hallie sends me weekly emails with trends and project updates, so I’m kept up to date.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m impressed by their knowledge and execution of the project. Their team brings impressive ideas to the table too. They tailor their services to us rather than providing us with a one size fits all solution.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not that I know of.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. We told them what we wanted to accomplish and then they translated our goals into an actionable plan.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO at Heggerty where we publish a curriculum for early education. The company has been around 15 years and we haven't done a lick of marketing until this year.
For what projects/services did your company hire SCUBE Marketing?
We wanted to find out if digital marketing could be a way to get our curriculum in front of more teachers. We have a product that teachers love, but most just haven't heard of it. We wanted to change that.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal of this project was to gain exposure and drive sales. We were hoping to see a ROAS of 300% or greater.
How did you select SCUBE Marketing?
This is a significant campaign for my company and a completely untested area. I met Tom a few years back and reached out to him when this project came about. I've always preferred small, hungry agencies that give you the time of day over large, established agencies with a shiny client list. SCUBE fits that bill.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
SCUBE is responsible for developing, running, and optimizing our digital advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Google, and YouTube.
What was the team composition?
Tom is the CEO and was involved with the onboarding process and campaign strategy. Hallie is the project manager and my main point of contact. There are 2 or 3 others involved in the background who handle the technical side of campaign.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We set out with a goal of 300% ROAS (getting $3 back for every $1 we spend) and we're currently over 1,200% ROAS. The results are measurable which it makes it easy to keep giving them our business. I'm told those aren't normal results, but needless to say, I'm happy.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I have a monthly check-in call with Hallie where we discuss results and strategy. Communication is timely and responsive.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The results speak for themselves. SCUBE understands digital marketing and they listen. That's a powerful equation and it's what makes them a great partner.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I had to spend more time than I expected providing copy edits for the first round of ads, but I think we've found a rhythm now.

Please describe your company and your position there.
WeldingStore.com is a wholly owned subsidiary of Welding Industrial Supply. As Director of Operations, I oversaw and implemented WeldingStore.com as our new eCommerce platform.
For what projects/services did your company hire SCUBE Marketing?
I needed a marketing team to manage all of our ongoing digital marketing needs for Weldingstore.com.
What were your goals for this project?
The manage and monitor our digital marketing ads through social media, and google while making the necessary changes to meet our ROI goals.
How did you select SCUBE Marketing?
I was referred by Pivofy Web design.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We needed a fully experienced team to manage every aspect of our digital marketing, as we had no one with that sort of experience on our team. They've built different campaigns based on our needs and product mix and dynamically change the campaigns based on product performance and what the google algorhythms show they should do.
What was the team composition?
Diana is our primary contact. She managed a team of 2 that handled our account.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have hit our goal(and then some) every month since we launched back in 2019. Our ROI for every ad-dollar spent has been tremendous. We have far exceeded our own expectations thanks to the team at Scube.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They are clear and concise. Weekly/bi weekly meetings to keep us updated with the trends of our site/product mix along with how each ad campaign was performing and how they would like to alter things for the coming months if necessary. Clean and understandable presentations were given monthly with results and data.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Attention to detail, along with using their experience with other similar customers to help our new business grow. They're uncomfortable with just doing what's expected by the customer and continue to do more than is asked and deliver every single time.
Are there any areas for improvement?
None.

The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
Digital Marketing Manager responsible for strategy, execution, optimization, and measurement. Lead generation is a major focus, and paid media is one of several foundational pillars for our digital program.
For what projects/services did your company hire SCUBE Marketing, and what were your goals?
Complete overhaul and management of the Google ads function of our department; essentially relying on them like we would an internal resource.
How did you select SCUBE Marketing and what were the deciding factors?
Reliability, accountability, knowledge, and results were the deciding factors. Tom and his team check all the boxes and then some! Initially, I worked with SCUBE when I worked at an agency as they handled a lot of our PPC work.
The work spoke for itself, and the people there were always lovely to work with. When it came time to select an agency where I currently work, it made sense to use SCUBE. And they continue to impress me and my fellow in-house marketers each month!
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.
- Strategy collaboration
- Deep dive sessions with key stakeholders
- Google ads account overhaul
- Ad creation, optimization, reporting, and contributing SEO ideas to help improve the PPC campaigns in terms of budget optimization and attracting quality traffic
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Four. The founder, Tom. The advertising manager, Remy. The account manager, Hallie. And the billing manager, Diana.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Cost per lead continues to improve, and the number of leads continues to rise, despite difficulties created by COVID-19. The leads are of high quality, and we are so satisfied that we are bringing our other companies on board with them in the coming months to handle all of their PPC efforts.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Email, phone calls, texting, Zoom. They do whatever works for you and are extremely flexible. They set and maintain reasonable deadlines and always deliver on their word.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their continued dedication to our success is impressive.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No, because they are extremely proactive about everything.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a lifestyle brand for automotive enthusiasts. We have four unique divisions: live events, racing, media, and direct-to-consumer retail.
What challenge were you trying to address with SCUBE Marketing?
We’d recently migrated from Magento to Shopify Plus, and we were starting to talk about our advertising and metrics. We hadn’t been doing anything before, with regard to Google search. We approached SCUBE Marketing to be our advertising partner.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had some SEO stuff, which was native to Shopify, and we were keeping metrics related to our inquiries, but, nothing else. SCUBE helped implement a Google Ad campaign. Not only did they put us in a starting position, they helped us take off.
We approached them late in the game around the holiday season, to revise our strategy. They told us they were already rolling, but we had six weeks of opportunity, and we wanted to go for it. We told them to double the budget, throw it out there, and go
What is the team composition?
We were introduced to Tom (Principal) initially. He would continue to oversee our account, but Diana (Managing Partner) would be our project manager. She’s been our main point of contact post-launch. She’s our conduit and liaison, and we have monthly meetings to discuss what we’ve accomplished.
How did you come to work with SCUBE Marketing?
Our web developer referred them to us.
How much have you invested with them?
From an ad dollar perspective, we’re in the $80,000–$100,000 range so far.
They have a fee relative to our advertising spend. We will give them a monthly spending range, and they’re allowed to spend the maximum amount if we’re getting a certain return. That allows them to be creative and do what they do best.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with SCUBE Marketing in June 2019 and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The launch was a bit slower, but we’ve been pleased with them. Q4 is a rich period for results, but, moving into Q1, we’re seeing a click-through rate of more than 10%.
We meet at the conclusion of every month to discuss results, and they’re really good at reporting, in terms of what did and didn’t work, age demographics, where ads are placed, spend, and so on. That allows us to track conversions, and it’s something we really like.
How did SCUBE Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
Their monthly reports are very detailed. They’re sharing good information from their side.
They’re very poignant and they mapped everything out ahead of time, so it was difficult to pivot once they were rolling, but they were very open to it. They told us there might be consequences to what we were asking for, and we acknowledged that. They look out for the best interests of their clients and they’re very methodical. They create plans in terms of timeline and strategy. They definitely look out for the best interests and the richest results for their clients.
What did you find most impressive about them?
SCUBE Marketing is the first partner of this kind that we’ve worked with, so I don’t have the experience to compare them to others. That said, the first 10 months into the relationship with them have been fantastic, and I couldn’t picture moving away from SCUBE Marketing. Given the way they work, the information they share, and the results they’ve brought us, working with them is advantageous for us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It’s all part of the feeling out process. As we built this relationship, we came to an understanding over what works and what doesn’t work, and that’s allowed us to get more granular on what types of ads are working for us, and the different returns that we’re getting on those ads. It’s allowed us to evolve the discussion and the relationship.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
We’re very curious by nature about engagement and metrics, since most of our business is direct to consumer. We went into this partnership understanding that they were the professionals and they were going to help us out. I’d advise clients to be curious and ask questions about the how, what, when, and why. That’s certainly been beneficial for us. It’s allowed us to continue to be nimble and ensure that we’re continuing to achieve rich results.

Digital Marketing & PPC for Party Supply Manufacturer
"Their team helped to pace me through the process of optimizing our channels."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of an importer, distributor, and manufacturer of party supplies.
What was the scope of their involvement?
SCUBE started out by managing Google Ads in the PPC environment. They make sure that our ROAS (return on ad spend) is high and our budget isn't overspent.
As their team continued to optimize our Google Ads, we expanded their scope to other marketing channels. SCUBE took on our Facebook marketing efforts. They did well with Facebook, so we asked them to take on Pinterest. We’re at a point of revisiting Bing Ads because SCUBE’s done well managing our other channels.
What is the team composition?
We have two points of contact for strategy: Tom (Principal) and Diana (Managing Partner).
How did you come to work with SCUBE Marketing?
We reached out to the IT company that helps us with our website design. I asked them if they knew any PPC companies or Shopify consultants. They created a list that we narrowed down to 3–4 companies. We interviewed each PPC company before we landed on SCUBE.
How much have you invested with them?
We started with a $2,500–$3,000 monthly spend. It’s up to $4,000 a month now.
What is the status of this engagement?
We officially started our collaboration in March 2019 and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have a more efficient spend on our PPC campaigns. We have a higher ROAS and less wasted spend. Since bringing them on board, we’ve done about $350,000 extra revenue in a year. Revenue increased by about 140% and new customers increased by 101%. CPA decreased by a minimum of 15% if not higher.
How did SCUBE Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicated by email primarily. We also use Google Drive to provide their team with assets. We have a monthly performance meeting to go over all of the channels, so they give me updates.
Their team tells us what they need from us as far as assets. We’ll have our marketing team come up with assets based on their feedback about what types of images do well.
They tell us about the new features that Google launches for Google Ads. We’ll stick to the basic services but then try out new features for 1–2 months to see if they're worth pursuing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
SCUBE’s skilled at telling us to watch how revenue comes into our system because that impacts how the budget should be spent. We’ve gone through other PPC companies and PPC performance can be manipulated. For example, you can double count your revenue. What stood out about SCUBE is that they asked us how we wanted to weigh the revenue that’s coming in. That’s the first time a PPC company asked us that question.
I wanted to get all the channels up and running but it’s difficult to optimize all channels once. Their team helped to pace me through the process of optimizing our channels.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’re working with them to get more detailed breakdowns in their reports. Given the time that we have with them on a monthly basis, it’s difficult to get into all the nitty-gritty. Aside from that, it’s going smoothly. Communication needs to be at a point where we can identify the minute differences between the channels.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Start with one channel to see what the performance is like. Understand one channel fully and optimize it and then slowly get into other channels. Prioritize what channel you would like SCUBE to start on. Have an understanding of the metrics that you want to measure and be clear about them.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m one of the owners of a pet product manufacturing company. We make collars, leashes, harnesses, and other nylon products. We primarily focus on wholesale business to other retails, but we have a direct-to-consumer e-commerce site as well.
What challenges were you trying to address with SCUBE Marketing?
We had recently redesigned and redeveloped our website. We wanted assistance in running PPC campaigns.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They ran Google Ads for us. We had been running some campaigns on our own, but we were struggling with search engine advertising. They also assisted with SEO services like identifying keywords and email marketing.
What is the team composition?
Our main points of contact are Tom (Principal) and Hallie (Account Manager). We also worked with Remy (Team Lead) and one or two other teammates that were involved in the project at different stages.
How did you come to work with SCUBE Marketing?
I don’t recall the exact details of how we found them. However, the references they provided made me confident in their abilities and are why I ultimately chose to work with them.
How much have you invested in them?
We spend about $1,700 per month, so we've invested approximately $30,000-$35,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in September 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve helped promote our website. Although most of our business comes from wholesale clients, we're seeing more engagement with our e-commerce site. Although not all of this can be attributed to advertising directly. For example, since COVID-19 restrictions have gone into place, we’ve seen a lot more online shopping because the brick and mortar pet stores are closed.
How did SCUBE Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very responsive. They take care of every task and have been great to work with.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’ve been more responsive than other outside vendors I’ve worked with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think so.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You can get out of the engagement what you want. You can be as involved as you want, or as hands-off as you want.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the general manager of a company that sells custom packaging and shipping boxes.
What challenge were you trying to address with SCUBE Marketing?
We were a brand-new business starting from nothing, and we engaged SCUBE Marketing to help our company ramp up.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They manage our two primary pay channels. These are Google Ads and social media marketing on Facebook and Instagram. We delivered the initial ads to establish and communicate our value propositions to them.
They’ve since contributed to generating the ad content and targeting consumers on social media channels. They provide me with a bi-weekly email update on our progress and let us know if we need to weak things.
What is the team composition?
We have a primary account manager, but we’ve also been in contact with the owner.
How did you come to work with SCUBE Marketing?
I had experience working with companies in the B2C sector and was looking for a specialist with B2B expertise. We found a couple of agencies on Shopify, which is the platform we use. They both recommended SCUBE as their primary outsourcing vendor, so I decided to engage them directly. I also remember reading their reviews on Clutch.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent over $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in April 2019, and the partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re very happy with their work. They’ve given us a strong return on our ad spend, which is our primary yardstick for success. We’ve seen a lower-than-average bounce rate for ads as well as a solid conversion rate. I appreciate that we’re both statistically driven, which helps us stay on the same page about progress.
How did SCUBE Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re good. Their project management style is both a pro and a con because they’re highly-structured, but I sometimes wish they’d have a little more flexibility. They’re fairly rigid about communication where we only touch base at set times. I’m used to having more involvement with my agency, but at the same time, I admire their commitment to just getting the work done.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve been impressed by their precision and proficiency in analytics. They’re a well-oiled machine that’s straightforward about delivering results.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re not as straightforward or quick with their testing, but they’re thorough. This isn’t a major issue because I empathize with their work ethic.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
The clearer they are about your goals and instructions, the better they’ll perform.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I own and operate an LLC that provides general marketing services for my clients.
For what projects/services did your company hire SCUBE Marketing?
I needed deep expertise on Google Ads for a project with one of my own clients. I needed them to not only set up Google Ads but also ensure the client would get conversions. I also needed help with web tracking, cleaning up the Google Ads accounts, figuring out the right budgets, ad groups, keywords, and more.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted leads in the form of additional web form submissions and tracked phone calls.
How did you select this vendor?
I found them through a colleague.
Describe the project in detail.
When we got started, SCUBE Marketing walked us through their discovery process to learn as much about the client as possible. They then double checked all of our Google Analytics and Web tracking to make sure it was integrated correctly with the Google Ads account. Finally, they created relevant campaigns, associated ads and ad groups, and helped us monitor results daily.
What was the team composition?
Tom (Principal, SCUBE Marketing) works as the main strategist. Outside of that, I have an account manager that handles the main updates and passes information back and forth between the team that is executing ads and tweaking campaigns.
Can you share any statistics or metrics that speak to the quality of their work and impact of the engagement?
We've seen over 100 conversions over the last few months.
How did SCUBE Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
They offer monthly updates, and between Tom and my account manager, I always have someone checking in or someone I can reach out to. Tom is a good communicator and it's obvious he works hard to understand clients and manage Google Ads accounts in a way that makes sense for them.
What impresses you about SCUBE Marketing?
They are focused on managing Google Ads campaigns. Many agencies bill themselves as covering "all things digital marketing," but I find they don’t stand out in any one area.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, I’m very satisfied.
SCUBE Marketing helped grow site traffic, which increased the client’s return on ad spend. Their dashboards are extremely detailed, which helps them identify nuances that make the campaigns more effective. Flexible and attentive, they respond quickly to feedback from their clients.
