Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the CEO of a CFO as a service and financial services company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Scalelab, and what were your goals?
Most of our sales comes from referral and inbound. In order to scale the company we needed to do more outbound sales and we didn't have the skills to do so. We hired the Scalelab to help with outbound lead generation and find new clients.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We had either the choice to build this as an inhouse skill (which means hiring people) or outsource this to experts. We decided to hire the Scalelab because they have a strong expertise to generate lead via cold emails and LinkedIn and also because they have a very human approach that fits well with our company values.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
First we went through an onboarding phase where:
- they helped us define our target personas
- they started creating prospect lists based on the personas
- create a custom messaging for email and linkedin outreaches.
And then they started engaging with the prospects to generate leads for us. They use email, LinkedIn, Lemlist and Hubspot to organise their outreaches. In terms of results, we meet with about 10-15 prospects a month have been signing enough new clients to justify their cost. I'm very satisfied about how this collaboration is going.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We have 1 account manager to whom with talk weekly. This account manager is supported by one more ressources and sometimes they have a technical guy that helps us set up some new softwares or improvements for their outreach.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The email campaigns they send have really good results. About 60-80% open rate 30 to 50% reply rate And generally 10-15 meetings per month We have signed 8 clients from their engagements and have made so many more connections who might become clients at some point.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They are on top of everything and we rely on them to provide us with guidance. So far, it's been working just as we want it.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They are a lead generation machine. Because they engage with people who don't know us yet, it's SUPER important to make the best first impression on email or linkedin. The responses we get are so positive, even when people don't have a need they usually say they are impressed by how personalised the emails are. It's very good for our brand.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think everything they do is really top notch and what's good about them is that their service evolves over time. Which means we benefit from their improvements. We have been working with them for over 14 months now and we've scene tremendous improvement. I think that what they can do now is to go beyond lead generation, and offer also a service to help companies sell.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the founder and CEO at a company called Albert Technologies (www.youralbert.com). We offer corporates a way to communicate with their deskless workers via an inhouse mobile app.
For what projects/services did your company hire Scalelab, and what were your goals?
We were struggling to get in front the right stakeholders and had hired a Head of Sales who unfortunately didn't deliver. Our goal was clear: talk to CEOs, COO, CHROs, Head of HR, Development and Training people from companies with over 500 employees.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched online, asked our network and eventually got introduce to Scalelab by one of our investors. The deciding factor was: - Track record - Authenticity and human approach of the team
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
The team got us on a 2 weeks onboarding where they evaluated who our target persona is, they created very personalized messages for email and Linkedin (with some funny images - it's very creative you should try ;) ). After 2 weeks they started the campaigns and we monitor the replies from my inbox.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
1 account manager we speak to weekly and 1 very nice growth specialist that supports the account manager. We occasionally spoke to their IT person.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
In 3 months they have generated more meetings than we had in a whole year and these were qualified. We're launching now a Demo with the Ritz Carlton so I must say I like the approach.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We speak weekly and they report to us weekly as well. We also have shared slack channel on which they are quite responsive.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The results and the approach. They are able to get very senior people interested to talk to us.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think they cover what we want in terms of lead generation and I think they should offer trainings in sales and lead generation too. We would like to get more of our team involved and learn from the scalelab.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Brand Manager and Co-founder of a high end patisserie brand called Paul Lafayet. We sell fine patisserie such as Macarons, cakes and many more.
For what projects/services did your company hire The Scalelab, and what were your goals?
While we are a retail company with stores, we also work with corporates for large orders: gifting, special events (chinese new year, christmas etc...). Our expertise being on B2C, we needed an expert agency to come in and support us in growing the B2B side of our business. This is where The Scalelab came in perfectly.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
As we had an existing Marketing team, we tried first to divert some of their work from inbound to more outbound marketing. Unfortunately, we didn't get much results as both practices are quite different. We quickly understood that if want to act fast, we had to externalise this function. What we needed was: - fast learners - proven results - strong communication skills The Scalelab's team had it all.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
First we went through a 2 week onboarding process where they helped us define our target, create databases of prospects and craft a personalized messaging. Once this was done, they started their outreach by engaging via email and linkedin (using my own linkedin and email address) to reach prospects. This ensured that leads were logged in our CRM and that the connection would remain on my personal linkedin profile. And I believe this also makes more sense because prospects talk to me anyways.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with one account manager, occasionally a tech person and the account manager's direct report. 3 people in total.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
On average their email campaigns have about 80% open rate. I would say I had a steady 10 meetings per month which were quality. While not all have signed, we opened some very good relationships and have generated over 100K USD in corporate sales through some of the scalelab's outreaches. So we're totally past the ROI.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I think they are a team that just gets it. They usually give our team a lot of content to dive into. They're very proactive.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I was impressed by the creativity of their message and the personalization level they can do at scale (with images and videos for example). When tried doing lead generation before we hired them, we were not even aware of all these capabilities. I'm happy with their work.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think they are working on a live page for reporting. Currently we receive a weekly reporting which is good. They will soon have a web page with live metrics on their campaigns, which will be great.

Lead Generation & Email Marketing for Online Arts Concept
"I think the value they add goes beyond the service they offer."

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the founder of an online arts concept where we curate some of the best local art photography, for people who value art.
For what projects/services did your company hire The Scalelab, and what were your goals?
We're primarily a B2C company and as we were expanding into B2B, we needed a company like The Scalelab to support us in generating B2B leads to help the company grow.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We considered either hiring internally or externalizing. Hiring internally meant we needed to find a single candidate, which turned out to be difficult and expensive to find. Externalizing was a suitable option as it would mean to hire experts in a specific field and benefit not only from knowledge effects but also from the experience of a team, rather than just a single hire.
What stood out with The Scalelab was their level of quick understanding, the success they had already shown with other clients and especially their educative and approachable way of work. I think the value they add goes beyond the service they offer.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
First we went through a 2 weeks onboarding phase where they helped us clarify our target persona. Based on this they started identifying potential prospects they could engage with on our behalf. They also crafted a dedicated and personalized sequence of messages that would be sent to these prospects via email and LinkedIn. It was super efficient. And lastly they set up their outreach system so that all messages prospect details would flow into our CRM.
I understand they use existing software and some level of proprietary technology that plugs all of it together. The process of the service is as follows:
- they engage with prospects on email and linkedin (using my email and my linkedin).
- when prospects reply back, we take over then.
I think on average we got about 10 warm leads per month.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with an account manager who has a growth assistant and a technical person that helps with anything tech or software related. They're a small team and very efficient. That's what we like about them :)
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The email campaigns they send are performing very well. On average they get us up to 80% open rate, 50% reply rate and generate 10 leads from that. Thanks to their initiatives we've already covered the cost of engaging them for the year.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Aside from some occasional interaction, we have a fixed weekly catch up and they send us a weekly report including stats about the campaigns they sent. The weekly is very helpful because we exchange feedback and ideas to continue improve the effort.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I think they're really good at creating the best first impression. Prospects send some of the nicest email replies I've seen. And even if some leads are not necessarily buying from us or interested in what we do, they sometime respond in such a positive tone congratulating us for how we approached them. Our brand really benefits from this greatly.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
For now they focus only on outbound marketing. They are very sharo and good at it and I wish they would open the door to some SEO or inbound services too.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the regional sales manager of a Middle East focused business development company that supports European and North American companies to settle and develop in the Middle East.
For what projects/services did your company hire Scalelab, and what were your goals?
There are other players in the market and it's a very network related industry. We mostly get our business from referrals. Unfortunately relying on referrals is too limited and we needed to kickstart new outbound initiatives.
How did you select Scalelab and what were the deciding factors?
We searched for lead generation companies, and as a matter of fact we found scalelab through clutch. What we liked about the scalelab is that they offer a clear process with pricing and deliveries.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
Their process is quite clear: - they search for our prospects based on our target audience - they create detailed contact lists of qualiefied prospects - they write custom sequences to engage with these prospects over Email and LinkedIn - They send campaigns out and we harvest the replies.
Basically they do all the work necessary upfront, and we only speak to prospects who reply back.
How many resources from the Scalelab team worked with you, and what were their positions?
From my knowledge there are 2. An account manager and a campaign manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We're very satisfied with results. We got our first leads in the first week of outreach and signed our first client after only 2 months (our sales cycles are around 3 months). On average we get about 10 qualified leads per month, and the reactions of some of the leads are very positive. The email personalization efforts that Scalelab do for us tend to impress some prospects, which is great for our brand.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We catch up weekly to discuss results and they send us also a detailed weekly reporting. Communication flawless.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They have a well-established process that works impressively. I like their tagline: focus less on searching, more on selling. That's exactly what we needed.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We actually would need help with responding to emails and following up. While this our job as sales people, I wouldn't mind if they had templates or even someone who could manage this for me. But that's maybe idealistic. Nothing to add really.
The company has seen general success from the Scalelab team's email campaigns which have an approximately 60-80% open rate and a 30-50% reply rate. The company has been able to sign eight new clients as a result of the team's efforts as well as making many new connections that may convert soon.
