What challenge were you trying to address with Sauvage Productions?

We needed a company to produce videos that highlighted the events we were organizing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We wanted to use videos to advertise future events to the audience. Sauvage Productions created 8–10 videos of our events, helping us drive attendance. We gave them a clear idea for the shot list, but each event was different and they did a great job adapting on the fly. They interviewed the attendees and interacted with the audience, driving the content and creating the opportunities as needed.

They were referred to me by a friend. We talked to the other companies, but decided to choose Sauvage Productions because we liked the quality of their work.

We started working with them in May 2017 and our last project was finished in August 2018.

The quality was fantastic and the final product was always on point. We never had any issues with them.

They're great communicators and have quick turnaround times.

We liked their personal touch. They have a unique team that knows how to craft a compelling story and capture the feeling.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They're very creative. We haven't had an opportunity to use their creativity to full extent, but I'd like to leverage that strength in the future.

I’m the founder of two companies, one for reconstructive oral surgery and one for genetic testing for personalized nutrition.

What challenge were you trying to address with Sauvage Productions?

It was really important for me to express to patients or costumers who I am as an individual, about my history and passions. I wanted a video for them to know me beyond the services I provide.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Sauvage Productions developed a two-minute video including filming and production. They used my initial content and helped with copywriting and editing. We worked on the script for a week or two. The filming was done at multiple locations over a weekend. The whole project was completed within a month.

What is the team composition?

I primarily worked with the two co-founders. There were additional team members on the set during filming.

How did you come to work with Sauvage Productions?

This had been something I’d wanted to do for quite a while but couldn’t find the right team to fit what I wanted to do. I had a referral to Sauvage Productions from other doctors that had worked with them. I definitely connected with the co-founders. One of them is a great storyteller who was able to articulate my vision.

I spent between $5,000–7,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together in July 2016.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I received amazing feedback when I shared the video through my social media platforms and website. It’s great that new patients can go to my site and have the opportunity to learn about the person behind the services. I don’t use it as a marketing tool but I think it helps to build trust with potential patients who haven’t met me yet.

How did Sauvage Productions perform from a project management standpoint?

The timeline was respected. Communication was consistent and constant, which is important to me. They were also flexible, which was helpful since this was my first time in front of a camera. They were supportive and made the whole process fun.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The founders are authentic. They’re capable of extracting the essence of the person or team and the value proposition that they want to share. That’s very important and what I appreciated most from them. In addition, they write well and create incredible production value. The benefit to me was high and I was happy.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It was my first time in front of a camera and it wasn’t easy for me. I could have perhaps used a little bit more coaching in advance. That’s something small though and overall, the experience was good.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open and transparent. They will ask you profound questions to get to know you and the products or services you want to market. The more open you are and the more information you share, the better the outcome will be.
