The personnel at Sannacode were willing to meet at short notice and get involved in the problems. Their flexibility was appreciated as new elements became known throughout the project.

We had to provide a point of sale interface on a mobile phone to mimic other older terminals. The older equipment classic equipment was based on proprietary interfaces and operating systems. We had to re-engineer our design to allow for flexible protocols to accommodate a more generic structure so as to make the product migratable to web applications. We changed most of our older routines to use web services and other common interfaces to allow for better expansion and modularity in the future.
What was the team composition?
From our side we had a project leader, testers and implementers. From Sannacode they had a project coordinator and various developers each with their own specialisation (e.g IOS, Android or Web).
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The project allowed us to outsource our work and let our own engineers and developers to focus on our core business. It allowed us to create a modular approach to our business for improved future business growth.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The project was managed by a project coordinator. So unless the issues were highly technical there was only a need to deal with one person on an ongoing basis.

Technical knowledge is available out there…especially if you are willing to pay for it! However, finding a positive attitude and people who care is rare… Bugs are inevitable in any project but when it comes to waking people up at odd hours and requiring fast releases to ensure your customers are happy is what impressed us most about Sannacode.

Our product is designed to keep track of what its owner feels silently – therefore, it picks up even the subtlest mood swings. Its technological sensors make it possible for the device to recognize an increase in emotional tension, to track swings in the level of stress as well as changes in the heart rate. With our free app, you can monitor the measurements of those parameters and compare the person's current state of emotion with the parameters they had in the past or ordinary, balanced level of emotion .

Broda is a content curation app that aggregrates news from around the web. The app is aimed at a young male audience.

I am the founder of Broda.

We needed a development team that could take our concept and turn it into an Android and iOS app that also included a back-end web application. It's worth noting that the original concept had a chat feature enable within the app. Hence, the reason to have both the Android and iOS version.

The original scope was for Sannacode to deliver an iOS app, an Android app, and a web-based application.
The Sannacode team performed beyond my expectations, especially when the app had two big overhauls due to customer feedback. They were agile in their approach as well as cooperative with the changes.

We found Sannacode through Freelancer.com. Their bid was in line with my budget, as was that of two of the other companies, who submitted proposals. The timeline was pushed back several times due to changes in requirements (as the product developed). This was not Sannacode's fault. The iOS app is currently under review in the Apple App Store, so there are no metrics to share on the app just yet, but it has performed very well in our user testing.

I work in the IT [information technology] department of a large bank hear in Australia and among my colleagues, there is often a "don't rock the boat mentality." What I like about the Sannacode team is they will tell me if my decision is wrong, and we're able to have an open and honest discussion to find the best solution.
They also adapt to change very well as I requested we switch to a more agile method half way through the project, and they adapted very well. Also, we did 99 percent of the work via Skype and Trello. Their team was able to understand what to deliver without a lot of conversation.

What were the results of the project, and are there any metrics you can share?
The results are a mobile application for Android that is a great launch to the quality and professionalism that HulaPig would like to be known for. The final product exceeded original expectations. The total downloads to date are 51. Marketing has been limited to the greater Cincinnati, Ohio, area. We recently envisioned an added feature to the application that Sannacode brought to life quickly, and allowed us to enhance the application's utility.
In hindsight, are there areas in which they could improve, or things you might do differently?
None. They exhibited excellent communication, ensuring progress was consistent at each set phase or as new developments occurred.
Sannacode was able to develop and publish everything on time. The team conducts weekly meetings. They are able to keep the client up-to-date regarding the status of the project.
