I’m the co-founder and CTO of Costless, a product pricing, information, and online ordering app.

I needed someone to develop our mobile app.

Sannacode developed our mobile app for Android and iOS using Kotlin and Swift. They created a huge backend part using PHP as well as a web platform. We plan new features together.

I like the project manager. She works really efficiently. Whenever I need something, she’s available and makes suggestions.

They make a lot of suggestions. Oftentimes I don’t know how something should work but they make recommendations that work.

There’s nothing I’d have them improve.

What were your goals for this project?

Timely delivery based on quick specification.

How did you select this vendor?

The personnel at Sannacode were willing to meet at short notice and get involved in the problems. Their flexibility was appreciated as new elements became known throughout the project.

We had to provide a point of sale interface on a mobile phone to mimic other older terminals. The older equipment classic equipment was based on proprietary interfaces and operating systems. We had to re-engineer our design to allow for flexible protocols to accommodate a more generic structure so as to make the product migratable to web applications. We changed most of our older routines to use web services and other common interfaces to allow for better expansion and modularity in the future.

From our side we had a project leader, testers and implementers. From Sannacode they had a project coordinator and various developers each with their own specialisation (e.g IOS, Android or Web).

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The project allowed us to outsource our work and let our own engineers and developers to focus on our core business. It allowed us to create a modular approach to our business for improved future business growth.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project was managed by a project coordinator. So unless the issues were highly technical there was only a need to deal with one person on an ongoing basis.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Technical knowledge is available out there…especially if you are willing to pay for it! However, finding a positive attitude and people who care is rare… Bugs are inevitable in any project but when it comes to waking people up at odd hours and requiring fast releases to ensure your customers are happy is what impressed us most about Sannacode.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Our project manager (Iryna) works like a machine. She is always willing to accommodate us and listens patiently to our requests…perhaps she should get an assistant or go on a well deserved holiday:)

I’m the CEO of tailor. We develop online shopping experiences for the fashion industry using AI and big data.

For what projects/services did your company hire Sannacode?

I initially hired them to develop an iOS app. Since then, they’ve developed other iOS apps, integrated AI models, designed UIs, and performed research and testing.

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to find a long-term app development partner.

My partner told me about them. He had positive experiences with them previously.

Currently, Sannacode is developing a mobile app featuring an AI algorithm that recommends clothing purchases based on selfies.

We haven’t launched the product yet, but test users have been amazed by the final solution.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Despite the distance between us, we work together well. We have fluent and frequent communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I recently traveled to Kiev to visit them and came away impressed with their infrastructure and highly specialized human resources. That’s how I knew they were capable of delivering this project.

No, not that I’ve seen. They have everything under control.

I’m a product manager at RnD64. We’re an IoT-focused product company that offers research, development, and manufacturing establishment services. With more than seven years of experience, we’ve created 44 products and have sold them to about 5 millions customers worldwide.

For what projects/services did your company hire Sannacode?

In 2017, we decided to try our hand in the music industry. We invented the portable Jammy Guitar to make music creation more accessible through technology. Our team worked with Sannacode to build the Jammy Guitar iOS mobile app for our product in addition to other frontend web projects.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a team that could help us develop the companion Jammy Guitar iOS app for our product. We also wanted to optimize the landing pages of our websites.

We collaborated with Sannacode to develop the Jammy Guitar companion app for iOS. Initially, we set specific requirements for the functionality and how the app should communicate between our hardware. Their team then handled the iOS development and part of the QA phases.

In addition, they updated the landing page for our existing product website and currently continue to help us with frontend development for our company sites.

Sannacode’s quality of work has been excellent, and they’ve performed professionally. The team delivers the code and fixes any bugs in a timely, proficient manner, which merits full satisfaction.

For the Jammy Guitar app, our project manager ensured that we had access to skilled resources throughout the engagement. We kept in touch using Slack and Redmine, and they were responsive when faced with additional requests. Despite the changing requirements, they consistently provided fast development services.

The team is talented and continually upgrades its expertise by bringing on knowledgeable resources.

I’m the CEO of a technology agency. We provide design services and creative work for our clients.

What challenge were you trying to address with Sannacode?

We primarily provide design services, but we wanted to expand our offerings to clients. Sannacode now serves as our primary partner for development work. We’ve worked with them to build several mobile and desktop applications.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Sannacode has assisted on multiple application projects. One involved an iOS and Android app for a crowdfunding platform. To encourage donations, it allows users to donate money and products that the app will later award as prizes to other donors. Sannacode built a working prototype that our client used to appeal to investors.

The team also built a cryptocurrency wallet as a desktop application. Sannacode built the app from scratch over 6–7 months. We continue to provide support to the app.

The team scales from 2–7 people based on each project’s needs. We work with mostly developers and a designer to supplement our design efforts as needed.

When we started looking for a development partner, I traveled to Ukraine and interviewed six companies over a week. Sannacode inspired the most trust and offered the most competitive price. Our clients are satisfied with Sannacode’s development work. We’ve received no complaints about their products. The team remains our go-to partner for every development project. They are more cost-effective than hiring in-house developers at a similar skill level.

How did Sannacode perform from a project management standpoint?

I work with two project managers, Yana (Project Manager, Sannacode) and Iryna (Software Development Project Manager, Sannacode). They communicate fluently and a frequent basis. They stay on top of tasks and turn around quotes quickly, allowing me to get more business. Highly knowledgeable and experienced, the team knows what they’re doing and keeps each project going until it’s complete.

Sannacode can scale rapidly even for specialized projects in niche industries like cryptocurrency. Their range of developers covers most coding languages, which has been instrumental to our success. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

On occasion, we’ve encountered developers who lacked proficiency in English, which made communication difficult. However, Sannacode addressed those issues quickly, and our teams have found a process that works seamlessly for both of us. 

Any advice for potential customers?

Try out their services for a small portion of your project; you won’t be disappointed in their work.

I am CEO of FORCEemotion, which is a Ukranian startup that is building a wearable device that will include many of the features of a Fitbit, but several additions as well.

Our product is designed to keep track of what its owner feels silently – therefore, it picks up even the subtlest mood swings. Its technological sensors make it possible for the device to recognize an increase in emotional tension, to track swings in the level of stress as well as changes in the heart rate. With our free app, you can monitor the measurements of those parameters and compare the person's current state of emotion with the parameters they had in the past or ordinary, balanced level of emotion .

My friend recommended me to ask the guys from Sannacode for help with website and application development. Sannacode built our website in a matter of days. We continue to get compliments on its design and aesthetics. Anna [Karmazina, CEO of Sannacode] is an excellent project manager. She answered my emails immediately even at 2 a.m.

Broda is a content curation app that aggregrates news from around the web. The app is aimed at a young male audience.

What is your role at the company?

I am the founder of Broda.

What business challenge were you trying to address with Sannacode?

We needed a development team that could take our concept and turn it into an Android and iOS app that also included a back-end web application. It's worth noting that the original concept had a chat feature enable within the app. Hence, the reason to have both the Android and iOS version.

The original scope was for Sannacode to deliver an iOS app, an Android app, and a web-based application.

The Sannacode team performed beyond my expectations, especially when the app had two big overhauls due to customer feedback. They were agile in their approach as well as cooperative with the changes.

How did you come to work with Sannacode?

We found Sannacode through Freelancer.com. Their bid was in line with my budget, as was that of two of the other companies, who submitted proposals. I sent requirements documents to each of the three companies to support the selection process, and Sannacode's questions about the requirements let me know that they were the best fit for the job as they brought their own vision to the project that built on mine

It was between $10,000 and $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The timeline was pushed back several times due to changes in requirements (as the product developed). This was not Sannacode's fault. It's just the reality of building a product with an agile approach, while receiving customer feedback. Throughout the project, the Sannacode team delivered on their promises as we iterated along the way.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

The iOS app is currently under review in the Apple App Store, so there are no metrics to share on the app just yet, but it has performed very well in our user testing.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

I work in the IT [information technology] department of a large bank hear in Australia and among my colleagues, there is often a "don't rock the boat mentality." What I like about the Sannacode team is they will tell me if my decision is wrong, and we're able to have an open and honest discussion to find the best solution.

They also adapt to change very well as I requested we switch to a more agile method half way through the project, and they adapted very well. Also, we did 99 percent of the work via Skype and Trello. Their team was able to understand what to deliver without a lot of conversation.

In hindsight, are there areas in which they could improve, or things you might do differently?

The criticism would probably largely be on my end as I changed the requirements quite often. Their team worked well considering all my changes.

The company is Mirigos, Inc. We're an IT [information technology] consultancy helping software companies with processes.

What business challenge were you trying to address with Sannacode?

We were trying to build a website application for our company.

It was building a website and content management system. We ended up using WordPress with a custom layout. They built the whole thing.

How did you come to work with Sannacode?

I know quite a few firms in the Ukraine. I can't remember how we first started talking, but after speaking with them, we felt like they could do the job. They were responsive. They understood what I needed. They didn't ask too many questions, but the ones they asked were the right ones.

It was between $5,000 and $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

It only lasted about a month, earlier this year [2015].

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

The website is working. It's easy to maintain. It has what I need. I have to control content quite a bit, and it's very good with that.

How did Sannacode perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very communicative. I essentially managed the project myself. 

What distinguishes Sannacode from other providers?

I would say it was easy. The response time was very fast. When we had to modify or correct something, it was done very quickly. I work with many of these offshore companies, and Sannacode was certainly above average. Sannacode's responsiveness and ability to foresee problems ahead of time is what makes them stand out in my mind.

I can't think of anything.

HulaPig, LLC sells mobile applications in both the Android and Apple app stores. We're based in the Cincinnati, Ohio, area.

What is your role at the company?

I am the managing partner.

How did you come to work with Sannacode?  

We were trying to find a quality developer or development company to code our first application.

Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.

The project scope was to take an idea for an application, capture the idea or intent of the idea, then code the project for Android and Apple phones. Sannacode not only provided an excellent final product, they offered suggestions to enhance the final product, such as graphics, layout suggestions, and button management. With their expertise, they were able to show what would and would not work for Apple.

How did you come to work with Sannacode?

Freelancer.com was the initial start in trying to find the right developer. In discussing the project with a friend, we were directed to Sannacode, who received high praise for a job previously conducted for the friend. 

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

Project was quoted at $800. The final price was $800 plus a $100 bonus for exceptional work.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project start date was February 19, 2015, and the end date of April 12, 2015.

What were the results of the project, and are there any metrics you can share?

The results are a mobile application for Android that is a great launch to the quality and professionalism that HulaPig would like to be known for. The final product exceeded original expectations. The total downloads to date are 51. Marketing has been limited to the greater Cincinnati, Ohio, area. We recently envisioned an added feature to the application that Sannacode brought to life quickly, and allowed us to enhance the application's utility.

In hindsight, are there areas in which they could improve, or things you might do differently?

None. They exhibited excellent communication, ensuring progress was consistent at each set phase or as new developments occurred.
