Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner and founder of a company called YepInsurance. We are an insurance company that specializes in private flood insurance. We founded this company years ago, and our goal has always been to help people save money when their homes flood.


What challenge were you trying to address with

We were really excited to get this information out to the public, but It’s really difficult to reach a wide demographic. When we met Konstantinos (Founder,, it was clear he would be able to help us from a really holistic web presence perspective.


What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with developing a website, but also by kind of walking through a mentorship program in terms of helping me understand the gaps in my understanding of digital marketing and turning clicks into conversions. Since then he has done just about everything, from developing multiple websites to creating content for those, to planning messaging strategy for our emails.

More recently, we have engaged more closely around strategy for our business, because of the large opportunity that we have to expand our market. After we gauged the size of the opportunity, he helped us build what basically amounted to a complex marketing machine, which included outreach sequencing and different pieces of marketing material — stuff that was way over my head.

What is the team composition?

I worked with 3–4 people from their team, but for the most part, interacted with Konstantinos directly.

How did you come to work with

I did a lot of research when I was selecting a provider and probably looked through about 100 different companies. Konstantinos was really the primary reason I ended up with I liked their website and the character they demonstrated there and speaking with him really sold me on their honesty as a team, which was my biggest point of concern.

How much have you invested with them?

The initial consultation was $10,000, but at this point, we’ve spent about $150,000 in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2017 and the engagement is ongoing.


What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The increase in conversion rates on the website has been truly unbelievable. We were fluctuating between 1–2% conversion for a long time, and since implementing the changes recommended by have consistently fallen between 10–20% which is a tenfold increase.

That alone has a rippling effect throughout our entire business. Our ability to really target specific markets with our emails and understand what is effective in increasing engagement has increased, as well as our ability to increase spend on that front entirely because of the return that we are now seeing.

How did perform from a project management standpoint?

They are really systematic about their project management, which I loved. We did share some stuff through Google documents, but everything from the process in which they asked questions in order to understand my business to the documentation of our initiative’s different success rates has been nothing short of rigorous.

I appreciate how they prioritize communicating what’s going on in language that everyone can understand. Part of what makes working with Konstantinos such a great experience is that he’s skilled at explaining what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, which is not something you find with most programmers or technical people.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I think what stood out to me the most is that they really do believe in getting results for their customers. A lot of marketing agencies are happy to make their buck on the frontend, but Konstantinos will not engage with anybody unless he truly believes they’ll be able to get results that are phenomenal.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I really don’t have any complaints.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If anything, I think their ability to produce results is understated by the reviews and case studies on their website. I think that customers should look into those and really understand the kind of success can produce when they are considering a project.
