How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?
Sales Schema is a fantastic partner for any agency that has struggled with outbound. They work with you to build a truly sustainable approach to landing high-ticket clients, unlike so many churn-and-burn outsourced prospecting companies that simply look to keep your business for a few months with unqualified meetings and empty promises. It's refreshing to see a group of professionals with a genuine speciality in new business outreach in the marketing agency world. I'd highly recommend to anyone who doesn't believe outsourcing outbound can work.

Defining overall outreach strategy, identifying target accounts, the appropriate individuals within those accounts and implementing multi-touch outreach to those accounts in order to set appointments

Regardless of any specific client, they actually care about improving the state of cold outreach. They write books, they have online classes and they're constantly testing cutting approaches because they care about doing this right. They're not doing this just for a paycheck, they're doing it to change a very frustrating part of life as an agency executive.

I work for E29 Marketing as an Account Director and New Business Development Strategist since October 2018. I am responsible for bringing in client leads, nurturing potential clients and producing business pitches.
For what projects/services did your company hire Sales Schema?
We were looking for a new perspective and support garnering new business. We knew we needed to create a more seamless, systematic process for outbound and in-bound marketing efforts to potential clients but we weren't sure where to start. Dan and his team at Sales Schema worked with us to create a plan and a methodical blueprint we can follow to generate new business.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed a blueprint or action plan with a step by step process for outbound B2B new business efforts. Our goal was to work with Dan's team to create a systematic process for our team to use for cold outreach, lead nurturing and ultimately conversion efforts.
How did you select this vendor?
Dan reached out numerous times with relevant content that was both informative and intriguing. His experience and unique POD in the market is what made us select Sales Schema for this project. Dan understands ad agencies through and through. He even customized a proposal to meet our needs and he made himself available at every turn.
Sales Schema was the clear choice among all the agencies selling leads. They delivered a strategy and a plan that we could then turn around and utilize internally.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Dan and the Sales Schema team are used to providing full-service sales outreach services to clients. However, we had a unique situation where we needed help with the strategy and blueprint for sales outreach but also wanted to lead the execution ourselves. Dan and I met on at least 3 occasions to discuss a customized proposal and then pitched it to E29's CEO Amie Stanley.
After several weeks of deliberation and back and forth, we decided to proceed. Dan and Nate met with us for a discovery call where they learned about our business and about a week later, they sent over a draft of their plan for E29's sales engine. I worked with Nate to address our questions and feedback on the plan and he then tailored it to meet our needs even further.
Now we are in implementation phase and Dan's team is there for support. They also have provided a 2nd proposal for further training if needed. Sales Schema is a great and flexible partner.
What was the team composition?
Dan played lead role, Nate wrote the strategy and Michelle served an administrative role. It was a team of 3 the entire way.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The recommended plan provided by Sales Schema has not yet been implemented by our team due to the Coronavirus. We need to pivot in our messaging and strategy but we are setting up the new business systems to get ready for deployment in May.
In the meantime, Dan and Nate's plan provided so much value for us that we are now utilizing their recommended tech stack to save endless hours of time researching companies and contacts as well as building out email sequences. That said, our process has already become much more efficient.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The communication from Sales Schema is superb. I feel I can rely on them and they are always there immediately when I have questions or challenges. I appreciate that Dan takes time out of his day regularly just to check up on us and to make sure we are satisfied and progressing well. It truly makes me feel supported and valued.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was blown away by their knowledge of our business and market. I love how much experience they have working with agencies and how insanely smart they are. They truly "get it". Dan is very passionate about what he does and it shows. He has assembled a great team around him and I appreciate that they are looking out for me and providing solutions at every turn.
Are there any areas for improvement?
N/A - if only they would've been able to predict the Coronavirus epidemic, we wouldn't have to re-write all of our communications! :)

Sales Schema has brought notable prospects in sales pipelines and had closed deals for the client as a result. They have been a seamless extension of the internal team, regardless of their client and tasks. Moreover, the client had seen that the vendor has genuinely cared about their outcome.
