We retained Room4 Media to put together a 90 second video that would clearly communicate our message to potential investors. As an early-stage startup, we were keen on gaining capital commitment.

Our goal was to communicate our mission: We bring Japanese fashion to the world. We hoped to gain initial investors to buy into our vision through sharing our video.

I noticed Room4 Media's work from the production of a projected they had completed for a friend of mine before me. I was very impressed with the quality an professionalism and reached out to Room4 media directly.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
I met with Room4 media multiple times to discuss the strategy and overall messaging that needed to be conveyed. Room4 media provided suggestions, while I returned creative feedback. They worked with us over and over through an efficient and iterative process. First finalizing the script and storyboard, then helping us organizing the timing, location, setting, and shots needed. On the day of the shoot, it was total professionalism, and then afterwards a post-shooting editing process
What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?
Room4 media organized camera crew, lightining, their own animators, and directing the shoot. After the shoot, we worked closely together through the editing process, from the audio, to visuals, to the finishing touches. They made sure every step of the process did not miss a beat.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After two months of receiving the finished video, we were able to engage with dozens of investors. The response for engagement requests more than doubled thanks to the video. It was exactly what we needed.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was extremely effective. Comments and questions were made very clear, concise, yet detailed. They communicated clearly what they needed from us, and we were therefore able to give them clear feedback in return. Everything moved as planned without any setbacks.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was so impressed by Room4 Media's strategic expertise, and watching that transition from strategy to project exectution to video completion. I've dealt with other video production vendors before, I've never seen work to this level of quality, experience, and professionalism as well as market insight. I would utilize them for sure for future projects.

I'm the marketing director at SchoolApply, a platform that helps students from all over the world find, get accepted, and enroll at the best universities abroad. I manage the entire marketing team as well as plan and oversee the execution of all marketing activities, which involves finding and nurturing the relationships with our various marketing partners.

After a lot of data analysis, we found out that SchoolApply was facing a very big issue. Our users weren't really understanding what we did, how we could help them, what they could expect once they created an account, and why they should choose us. Room4 Media created three animated videos for us, taking less than a week to produce each one. Jeff (Managing Director, Room4 Media) and Carlos (Country Manager, Room4 Media) had an amazing attitude from the start and the final results exceeded all our expectations.

Their feedback process was incredible! It was easy to tell them our thoughts and they instantly started looking for alternatives that better suited the project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Room4 Media reached every single deadline they promised. I also really appreciated that we could always change anything we didn’t like without any hesitation on their behalf. To be honest, I could write an entire essay about how great the process was!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Working with Room4 Media was extremely easy and I was impressed at how fast they worked. This project required us to constantly approve every milestone and get back with any relevant feedback. Sometimes, I couldn't keep up with giving them the input they needed to complete our tasks on time.
We had a big internal delay and I wasn’t available for anything else. Apart from this, everything worked really well! The platform they use to send the work to their clients is brilliant and made my life easier.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
It goes without saying that the final results of the videos were incredible, but what I was most impressed about Room4 Media was how easy it was to work with them and how organized everything was.

Create a video that appealed to anyone flying with these airlines but at the same time make it very local and targeted so it felt that it was created with each customer in mind

We only had one week to execute. We needed a vendor that had the experience and a team that understood our challenges and could expedite the entire process. Room4Media was great at responding quickly and working evening and weekends to be able to produce the videos in the time needed.

We needs two videos. Each with different look and feel as they had to speak to two different audiences. We had an initial call with the Room4media team where we went over the challenges and opportunities. They immediately created a plan of action and a week later after being in constant communication with us we received the final files.

We are a private healthcare service provider. I'm the managing director of the company. Our diverse team of specialists provides outpatient and inpatient services.
What challenge were you trying to address with Room4 Media?
We wanted to build awareness for our company and our services. We analyzed what was in demand in the medical field and collected data from our clients and online visitors.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They design our advertising materials for Facebook and our website. They helped us build awareness for our services that are in highest demand. They look at our competitors, which informs how we market our core services.
What is the team composition?
We work mostly with the director and another main contact.
How did you come to work with Room4 Media?
I've worked with them for a long time. We had a working relationship with the director before he established the company. Most of his services are online and through Skype, and we've used him through several moves. He knows our style and quality, and we understand his methodology very well.

We started working together around 2009 and the collaboration is ongoing.

The team we work with is relatively small. That comes with some advantages, but diverse opinions from a larger group often result in a better product overall. We're very happy with the personal touch of a smaller team, but we might receive a more global perspective from a larger group.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for Kindred, a group of companies linked to the gambling industry. We have a number of companies in different markets, mostly European, where we target a number of clients for sports betting and casino gambling.
What challenge were you trying to address with Room4 Media?
We were trying to solve a very complex verification process for our clients. It was an operational problem for our clients to register securely, similar to some payment providers. We had a very short deadline to make a video explaining something extremely complex and used Room4 Media to do so.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They created a video for us, while also helping to clarify the steps we needed to take. We knew what we wanted to say, but they explained each point to make the final output more “ear-friendly”. After that, we started the pre- and postproduction process, with them informing and involving us throughout. The end product was an amazing video that we embedded on our website.
We asked for a European-looking model, to reflect our audience. It does a number of things, all of which are amplified by infographics and superimpositions on the live-action shots. We’ve also run a second project with them, which was an introduction video for a conference.
What is the team composition?
We were first introduced to an account or relationship manager, and then assigned a team of around three people. It varied depending on the process, but we always had the same contact to meet throughout, which was a nice experience.

We saw some of their previous work online, and found that they'd worked with one of our competitors. We started asking around about who had done it, then we got in contact with Room4 Media.

We started working with them at the beginning of 2016. They’re still listed as a supplier in our system, but we now have our own media team, without a lot of external suppliers.

I know that they offer a lot of metrics but since everything is embedded in our website, those weren’t required by us. We use the tracking we had in place already, so we didn’t need a lot of assistance with that.
They sent us bits of video through software that allowed us to make comments, which was really unique. We could add them at any point during the video and they always lived up to their promises.
How did Room4 Media perform from a project management standpoint?
There was continuity in the project management throughout, and they ensured they were available during our working hours, despite the time difference. They explained the process from beginning to end, including what we could and couldn’t change at different stages, which was helpful.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have the ability to explain complex issues in a simple way, within just 1–2 minutes. They’re very good in this respect, and their turnaround time was also amazing. One of our projects looked almost impossible to do, but they still managed to deliver it on time and within budget.
Are there any areas they could improve?
At one particular point in time, they offered too many options for us, and they’re almost victims of their own success. Too many choices sometimes led to diametrically-opposed wishes on our end.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Work with them but know what you want beforehand. Don’t leave the project until the last minute.

I’m the CEO of Medical Portals LTD, a medical company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Room4 Media?
We hired Room4 Media to produce marketing videos, manage our social media marketing efforts, and help us market our e-learning platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Over several years, we’ve engaged them to promote our e-learning platform, produce marketing videos, and coordinate our social media marketing.
We are now in the midst of launching the second generation of our e-learning platform. We intend to venture outside our country and market ourselves overseas. Room4 Media is involved in all aspects of the project ranging from design to development.
For our videos, we typically send them footage that we’ve compiled, and they are responsible for editing it and providing animations.
