I’m the owner of a nail salon. We're a single door establishment with no franchises.

What challenge were you trying to address with Rocketship Designs?

I needed someone to revamp our website because our current platform wasn't pleasing to the eye.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I hired them to revamp the website to increase its functional and visual appeal. They did both design and development. I told them my minimum requirements, and they returned with suggestions and trends based on their industry knowledge. They were good at balancing my taste and trending design elements. We determined the pages to include together. For example, we needed a contact page and a page to display products.

How did you come to work with Rocketship Designs?

They were referred to me by a friend. I had other companies in mind as well, but their team was the best informed on the industry and easiest to talk to. Based on their portfolio, I knew they had a breadth of experience.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $4,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our work started in March 2020 and is ongoing. We were in quarantine in mid-March and had to stop for a month. So, the project itself lasted about a month.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m very happy with the results and so is everyone who sees the website. We’re on the top of the second page for certain keywords already.

How did Rocketship Designs perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s very easy to communicate with them through email and calls. We had a couple of meetings around the criteria. The meetings were very structured, and we agreed on certain milestones. We were on the same page in terms of progress and next steps. If they say they’ll get back with me at a certain time, they do. If there’s going to be a delay, they’re very quick to advise.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were persistent in working until I was satisfied with the outcome. The team's skill and knowledge of industry trends were really impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, it was painless to work with them.

Have a clear idea of your requirements. That way, they will be able to better structure your designs and site to match your brand.
