They worked with us in multiple projects, starting with setting up employee portal with 25+ sites for various business entities within. They quickly stood up an elastic team to build our master data management integrating 10+ sources and mastered the data into standard format to feed our brand new SF implementation.
The model that worked for us is 2 week sprints with 2 sprints per cycle following standard SDLC process and performing scrum ceremonies and light weight project management that kept the projects on track.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
They were elastic teams, quickly ramp up and down as the project needed. I would say at a minimum 2 developers, 1 QA, 1 designer/architect, 1BA, 1 QA and 1 PM. When needed they would add multiple developers/QA/BA with just couple of days notice. And ramping down was simple as well.

They were always on-time and on or under budget. They delivered what was agreed by both parties.

I am the co-owner of a business consulting agency that specializes in process improvement through software development.

We had a client that wanted to build a tool that could provide a new service to their clients that was not already available. They had tools such as Excel spreadsheets where the current process was followed but wanted it translated into an online application. We needed an outsourced team that could take on this challenge while we were handling other work in our business that would not allow for taking on this additional project.
How did you select Rishabh Software and what were the deciding factors?
We had several development folks in our back pocket to try out. After discussing with all of them and reviewing the details of this project we found that Rishabhsoft had the best understanding of the goals and the best technical knowledge.

The process of scoping the job was extensive, setting clear bulleted steps to get the site built. After this, they delivered on wireframes in Adobe XD that included UX/UI design for our approval. After the approval, they moved into designing the system and functionality in asp.net as was requested. The base functionality was complete and we then moved into user testing. The process of user testing and revisions from this client was extensive but Rishabhsoft stuck with us through the entire process to get it all done.

We had an account manager who is our main point of contact. In addition, there was a Senior team leader who was our secondary point of contact. Several other team members helped with different parts of the project from UI/UX to javascript coding but it was all managed effectively through our 2 points of contact.

Our client was very pleased with the look and feel of the website and how it matched their current homepage design. Their goal was to have a product that offered features that they do not currently have while maintaining a high-end look and feel for their clients and they are pleased with that. They are already engaging us for the next phase of the site and the next set of functions they want to add.

We implemented a weekly call as well as project management tools such as Jira to ensure the project continued along the timeline efficiently.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They accommodated all our needs. For example, any time we have a scoping request, they always jump right on it. When I asked to change approaches to scoping a specific project type by getting an a-al-carte menu of features from them, they accommodated me, etc.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The only issues I have had are related to my clients declining a lot of projects due to the price misalignment. Many of my clients are looking for something that is in a lower price range than what is initially offered and it is difficult to get them interested again once they have heard the initial offer.

Learn Primary is a curriculum aligned adaptive learning platform for children in primary schools in Australia. I am the co-founder and director of the company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Rishabh Software, and what were your goals?
We hired Rishabh to help us to create the platform which included a portal for Students, Parents, and also one for Schools/Teachers whereas key stakeholders could use the platform to help the child improve their learning across Maths and English.
Apart from the front end portals, Rishabh also created a content management system to allow us to push content out to the users. The problem we were trying to solve was in bringing a scalable learning platform making it possible for parents and teachers to work collaboratively to improve a child's learning.
How did you select Rishabh Software and what were the deciding factors?
We went to market seeking developers who had knowledge of the full development stack and could work with our "startup" mentality where functions and features were being decided on feedback from our users and teachers.
We were also seeking a long term partner who would invest the time in understanding our cause and sharing their views on our development needs. The cost was also a factor given that we were a startup!

In our development stack, we used SQL on Azure with an Angular .net front end. There were also several points of integration into our other partners eg Hubspot, Mailchimp, and Stripe which were important for us to make our processes more efficient.

We had several people work with us over the years some front end devs, back end devs, a PM, and an Account Manager. From time to time we had a couple of subject matter experts also involved things like a chatbot that we implemented.

We were very pleased with the outcome and the launch of our product in the market. After the initial launch, we built in a billing integration and continued to develop additional reporting and feedback features into the platform all of which were delivered by Rishabh without any objections.

The daily huddles with the dev team leader helped us to keep the project on track and to assess any priorities of tasks. Using JIRA on both sides also meant that we could have a structured conversation around the dev tasks and their delivery.

I am an owner and CTO of the company. We develop systems for beverage dispense and dispense system hygiene for brewers, large pub groups, stadia, and event outlets. Dispense hygiene involves remote monitoring or equipment and the personnel completing the processes to ensure conformance.

They were in charge of the development of a database, web app data visualization and management tool, and mobile user app to interface with our equipment by Bluetooth. Equipment firmware is done in house.
We commissioned Rishabh to develop our second-generation platform to support our dispense hygiene products through a mobile user app, a web app for data visualization and management, and a database for storage (the latter two implemented on AWS).
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
They came from a recommendation from our consultant who had worked with us on the development of the first-generation product. As experienced developers themselves, they had been impressed at the work and quality of the code they had seen from Rishabh.

After an initial kick-off and provision of a functional specification from us Rishabh produced a statement of work document covering the activities for the project.
This covered project scope, approach, organization and responsibility matrix, duration and team composition, and costs requirement analysis and design involved complete use case documentation as well as user story. Full mapping of all the data variables at the different project levels (device, mobile, and web) was also completed.
UI and Technical Design kicked off towards the end of this process. This was followed by web and mobile development and testing before UAT and final release. The project comprised 3 modules:
- iOS-based mobile app for Bluetooth communications and monitoring of our device
- Web Application (Angular 7 with .NET Core backend and APIs)
- Database (Postgres)
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There were four to five people we worked with directly but this would not include other members of the team performing the project work (e.g. UI, Testing, etc).

The second-generation development of our management platform provided a huge improvement on our previous product. It provides a level of functionality that is greatly improved and has greatly impressed our customers. In addition, we ended up with a well-documented software project something that often gets neglected in smaller companies.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the co-founder of Kreate Konnect. We are an e-commerce management company based out of India.
What challenge were you trying to address with Rishabh Software?
We needed someone to help us with development for our company.
We started our operation in 2015 when e-commerce had just started booming in India. We realized that a lot of people in India do not have the technical know-how for spending online which includes marketplaces like Amazon and other platforms that are available in India.
We had raised funds to develop a piece of software where we could automate certain systems and certain processes. We also wanted to be able to collect and analyze data.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We were looking for a complete database management system where our clients could log in. From there, they could start their journey with us in terms of creating the product catalog. Each marketplace has certain rules and regulations.
We wanted to be able to pull data from marketplaces through an API and build a proprietary formula to drive certain data points. We worked on close to 150 different data points and we have been able to drive those data points that we were looking at. I believe it was done on Ruby on Rails.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a team of approximately 15 people, but they were divided into different parts of the project. For example, we had one team that would take care of the data analysis and AI. There was another team for UI/UX, and another team took care of API integration.
How did you come to work with Rishabh Software?
In 2016, we approached Rishabh Software, but we were a start-up and didn’t have the funds at that time to go ahead with them. We had heard about them through a business associate. We ended up working with a smaller company, but we failed miserably. We could not develop what we were looking for.
Last year, we thought of restarting the process again as we had much more clarity and we decided to approach Rishabh Software. They understood our requirements and it seemed that they would be in a position to do what we needed so we went ahead and started the development.
How much have you invested in them?
The entire project cost will be between $100,000 to $150,000
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in July 2019, and the work is still ongoing.
We divided the project into four phases. We are already done with the first phase and are testing it.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We are currently collecting all the data and feeding that data into the system. That system is currently being integrated. They have done data visualization and presentation.
Everything has been delivered as expected so far. I wouldn’t leave feedback for them if I wasn’t satisfied.
How did Rishabh Software perform from a project management standpoint?
In terms of project management, I would say they have been pretty flexible and agile. Along the way, there are certain things that needed to be added on or changed, and they have been extremely honest and open. If at some point the deadlines have to be extended, they let us know why.
Communication has been pretty traditional. We have been sharing information through email or Google Drive. Due to COVID-19, we don’t have in-person meetings, but prior to that, we were meeting with them and having face-to-face meetings every month to look at the progress of the entire project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I have had experiences with vendors before, and the major difference I can see with my experience with Rishabh Software would be their commitment.
My experience with the other company was very bad when it came to commitment and deliverables, and those are probably the two main things the client actually looks at.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be good to have a project management tool to make communication simpler. It would speed up the process. Even though the project has been delivered on time, I think it would add more value and we would be able to have all the information under one platform.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
No matter how big or good a development company is, if a person does not have clarity, the project will not work. First and foremost, you need to be clear about everything that you want to be developed. You need to be open and honest about what you need.

Safety for Life is an Occupational Health and Safety Consulting company based in Brisbane, Australia. Caroline Kingston is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant. Caroline manages the project development of Sherm a SaaS application that has been developed and is maintained by Rishabh.
For what projects/services did your company hire Rishabh Software?
Rishabh provide Safety for Life a Senior Developer for the ongoing development of Sherm. The benefit is that we maintain a Developer for long durations so their depth of understanding the application and my core requirements become known in a short period of time.
Furthermore, when there is to be a change over of Developer, we have established processes for handover to save me having to do basic training. Challenges are overcome with technology. We have been working remotely for the last 10 years and our working relationship is very close and respectful.
What were your goals for this project?
My goals change to meet my clients requirements. Through the use of a project management software application we can easily track and monitor tasks and review previous work completed.
My current developer has cleaned up reports so the design concept has improved and additionally where changes are made my Developer is considerate to impacts and shares ideas with me so we can consider performance capabilities and other potential improvements. We work well together and more so, my Developer can work very efficiently independantly.
How did you select this vendor?
I selected Rishabh Software initially as during the initial contact phase, I did not feel like I was being 'sold to' but more so guided and supported. This gave me a sense of dealing with a supporting company.
When the project first kicked off, I travel to India from Australia to meet the original team and the Directors of the Company. I felt reassured and 10 years later, we are still working together and I am quite happy with no need to change.

The current project requirements are not as hectic as what they were initially. Sherm is a software application designed to assist companies with managing safety, health of employee, and risk management.

The current project management arrangements suit my requirements. I have a project lead that I can go to as required, but on a daily basis I work with my developer. I know that as required, I just need to reach out and my requirements will be met.

I like the ease of requesting for services, the coordination internally and the scheduling of resources time wise to meet my needs. The communications between other departments have a personal touch. We have a Java-based application that runs on Amazon EC2 with a Postgre database. Rishabh Software developed some discreet functionalities for us, including UIs for a client configuration. While they built those pages from the ground up, they did refer to our app to match the look and feel.

How did you come to work with Rishabh Software?
They’d reached out to us, but we weren’t looking for anything at the time. Once we encountered a unique challenge in our app, I called them back. It was a tough problem, but they were able to resolve it quickly, so we gave them more work to do.

What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them between February 2017–October 2018. In that period, they did different units of work for us.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the CEO of Montego Services LLC, and we have been providing services for software architecting since about 2014.
What challenge were you trying to address with Rishabh Software?
We brought on Rishabh Software to help us develop a platform for event management using all of the Office 365 programs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I’m a SharePoint architect and actually used to work for Microsoft, so I was able to document everything that I wanted them to do. From there, we finalized the requirements and reviewed our options for moving forward before beginning the development process. There are a lot of different moving parts and they were able to put all of them in one easy-to-use application.
Their team has basically been responsible for all the backend connections of the 365 programs and both the platform for planners to organize their events and then the interface where they could push them to the public. They also developed a customer service module that allows people to interact with external inputs as well.
What is the team composition?
I worked with a little bit of everybody on their team over the course of the project, from their mobile team to their design team, but for the most part, I had two dedicated developers that I coordinated with to make things happen.
How did you come to work with Rishabh Software?
I was looking for an app developer and found somebody through LinkedIn who ended up being terrible. After that, I decided to be a little more stringent with my requirements for Microsoft Expertise and ended up finding and signing Rishabh Software.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent a little over $50,000 already and are projecting closer to $100,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in December of 2018 and are still finishing up the project.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I don’t have a lot of metrics yet since we haven’t launched, but I’ve done a few demos for some of my musician friends, and they have given really positive feedback so far. There’s not a lot of programs that put all this stuff in one place, so they really appreciate the convenience of it.
How did Rishabh Software perform from a project management standpoint?
They do a really good job, and I haven’t had any issues in the whole time I’ve worked with them, which is rare among all of the developers I’ve worked with. They don’t let a day go by without letting you know what they’re doing. We communicate through email for the most part, and they’re really good about staying on top of everything that you ask of them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their knowledge and skill level are really impressive for the industry. I used to work for Microsoft, so I know how hard it can be to find good developers for these programs. They’re just really sharp and are always able to actually interpret what you want from the program rather than providing you with some sort of cookie-cutter approach.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only thing I thought might be an issue originally was the fact that they’re on the other side of the world, but we have no problems communicating whatsoever, so I don’t think I have anything I wish they would improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just be prepared and know what you want to accomplish. They’re a very straightforward company, so you’re going to get a lot less out of it if you have no idea how you’re to accomplish your goals.

How has the engagement evolved over time?
Over the last couple of months, we’ve experienced a failure of communication. Initially, everything was going well—there was a sense of genuine camaraderie. But, everything fell apart towards the end of our engagement.
What was the status of the project when things started to change?
In December, we had neared completion on a project but had a few instrumental tasks remaining. All of a sudden, one of the primary developers stopped responding to me, and I couldn’t get a hold of the project manager, either. I didn’t hear back from that developer for over a month.
They ultimately neglected to transfer an API from an old product to the new development, which left me in a limbo state for two months. I couldn’t even test the solution. This caused several issues with my other contracts who were depending on me to get that work completed.
What is the status of the engagement now?
I’m still working with them to try and figure everything out, although I’m not sure how they’ll manage to rectify the situation. I just received an email from them and am hoping to meet with them soon. Having said that, these developments definitely blighted my feeling about our project.
What feedback do you have for Rishabh Software?
I wanted more direct communication. If they promise that they’re going to fulfill the goals of a project, I expect them to follow through; at the very least, they could communicate to me why something’s not getting done. They’re all beating around the bush pinpointing the issue, so I’m left in the dark about what went wrong.
The lack of communication became apparent in another upsetting instance when Rishabh Software billed me for a monthly resource. I know for a fact that the assigned developer had only worked for a week and a half before abandoning the work. The project manager should have updated us about what was going on.
What advice do you have for their potential clients?
Make sure to use a project manager from your own team, or at least have two managers from both teams working in conjunction. You don’t want to get caught in a situation where you’re oblivious about why something’s gone wrong, especially when there are third parties waiting on you. I wanted to update my review because I didn’t want others to go through the same predicament.

While I don’t leverage it anymore, it was a big help early on. They put together presentations and proposals for projects that I was trying to win for my business.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be ideal if they provided access to developers that are able to work in United States Central Time, rather than Standard Time. Also, they could probably ask a few more questions in order to get clearer requirements when working on projects.

My advice is to make sure you gather good requirements.
The team successfully delivered the project based on what they agreed upon and below the budget. Rishabh Software was punctual, communicative, and created very meticulous documentation. They had a good project management style.
