1. Visual customer journey map, showing what the prospect sees (images and copy) from first impression to sign-up. Tracking & conversion rates are also added to the map. This practice can reveal inconsistencies in messaging and draw attention to areas for improvement.
2. Review all metrics using historical data and relevant benchmarks. (I have baseline metrics for ad type, ad channel --LinkedIn, Meta, etc, and industry.)
3. Traffic sources and targeting. Analyze the channels and targeting driving visits and compare them to active/repeat user profiles. This can be used to improve targeting or customized messaging to help convert unique segments for growth.
4. Review 3rd party review sites for your product/service and your competitors to understand what features, strengths, and competitor weak points can be leveraged to create a unique position and messaging that converts.
5. Set up and review heatmaps, scroll behavior, and user visits to see what copy/images draw attention or cause users to exit. This will generate ideas for testing and improving the user interface.
6. Use the ICE scoring framework to prioritize the a/b testing agenda and determine KPIs for determining winners.

Kevin helped me get my first-ever LinkedIn outreach campaign off the ground, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the experience.
