Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the content lead for a small SAAS performance management startup that helps teams build their resilience and perform better.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire RevenueZen?

Our CEO hired RevenueZen for a number of sales initiatives, but the project I was involved with was SEO focused. In short, we wanted to drive more traffic to our site through search, and to understand how to optimize our content and publishing cadence to draw this traffic on an ongoing basis.

What were your goals for this project?

To significantly improve our site's search engine ranking on Google, and thus increase organic traffic.

How did you select this vendor?

We already had a relationship with RevenueZen through our founder.

Describe the project in detail.

RevenueZen put together thorough keyword research and recommendations, as well as a detailed content calendar that would ramp up our content production significantly. They then recruited the writers and managed the editing and production process, including all aspects of SEO. Every month they gave us a detailed report on what the analytics were revealing about traffic/results.

What was the team composition?

We worked with RevenueZen's CMO and also a Content Manager. Several freelance writers that they recruited rounded out the team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had HUGE success with driving more organic traffic to our site and improving our site's Domain Rating.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We determined a workflow/process at the beginning and made adjustments as we went along to maximize efficiency. The team was super-smart, professional and incredibly responsive/accessible. We communicated frequently over Slack, and they were always available to hop on the phone if we needed to talk things over.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their willingness to brainstorm, test things out, and try different strategies. Their transparency and open-mindedness. Their incredible can-do attitude and spirit of problem-solving and optimism. These things make a HUGE difference in partners and RevenueZen really stands out in this regard.

Are there any areas for improvement?

At times I felt like there could have been greater attention to detail in the content creation and editing process.
