I've received many leads and 3 clients from my work RevenueZen. Just 1 of those clients makes up for my investment. RevenueZen solved that problem. My business has grown 5x since first engaging with RevenueZen, and I a large part of that is from my individual content presence and not having to worry about focusing on creating that content myself.

Our static content creation (blogs and other artifacts) are created in partnership with Revenue Zen and various other content creation activities (LinkedIn posts, etc.) are 100% driven by them as well. We've seen incredible return on our investment with Revenue Zen and can account about 30% of our overall top line revenue to their efforts across multi-channels.

Incredibly effective. Simple Slack groups and channels allow us to collaborate in real-time with their team. They truly an extension of our business and mission critical to our growth along the top and bottom lines of our business. They are responsive and professional while being relaxing and easy to work with.

We can literally bring them anything and everything we are thinking of...and they make magic out of it. Given what’s unique about us, we went to RevenueZen and asked how to attract or develop more business for ourselves and be able to close sales.

What was the scope of their involvement?

RevenueZen provides us with extensive digital marketing, PPC, and SEO services. For digital marketing, they’re not only creating content and links, but they’re also working hard on other forms of marketing such as email marketing, social media marketing, and LinkedIn marketing. Additionally, I've given them full access to the website so they can optimize our SEO and improve the funnel once people actually arrive.

Moreover, they’ve also been adding more features and functionalities to our marketing website, to improve the experience for prospective customers in the discovery phase.

The scope of our engagement is different from what I originally thought of, and I actually like it much better now. We ended up focusing primarily on SEO, with a limited objective of increased qualified traffic on our website. Since partnering with RevenueZen, the traffic compared to our website from two years ago is up by a factor of 12. Our clicks from organic search have also increased from zero to 400 hundred clicks per week — which is huge. We also went from zero keywords to having 17 ranking on the first page. additionally, we're ranked at number one in four keywords that matter to us.

Their work has been brilliant, and that has translated well into the inbound results.

How did RevenueZen perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m quite happy with how they manage the project. The way we’re set up is, I have a project manager, Rocky (COO & Managing Partner) who I meet every two weeks. They also have VP-level folks who get brought in every now and then as we alter the scope of the project.

What I like about their approach to management is they understand that I’m very busy, so it isn't my job to manage them as a vendor — I want to be clear about what my goals are and put them to it. They’re very proactive about pushing the results, but sometimes we don’t really hit our goals. We had a period where we actually slipped in ranking, but they discovered it before I did, acted on it, and just let me know afterward. 

I’m really put in a good position where my job is to make decisions, and I feel very well informed. I get recommendations, they set their own goals that I approve, and it’s really been excellent. We’ll have calls every two weeks, but we also have a shared Slack channel where we communicate on a much higher frequency as needed. It’s where they push a lot of the information that I need.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One of the great things about my initial journey with RevenueZen, is we went in thinking we knew what we wanted — but Alex (CEO), Ken (CGO), and their team provided us with recommendations on how to improve. RevenueZen spent a lot of time making sure they learned and understood our products and buyers, which resulted in creating a demand generational experience for the prospects.

Another thing I like about RevenueZen is their holistic approach to marketing. They’re a strategic partner to me, and they operate on a high level. They make sure to understand my business and customers well enough to come up with solutions to get our business on track.

One thing that differentiates RevenueZen from the rest is they’re a smart B2B marketing team. They even develop their own technology to have some comparative advantages, as opposed to just being an agency.

I would like them to have more capabilities to build a much broader general strategy. One thing that I do want is more conversion rate optimization, more advertising support, and high-level thought leadership. RevenueZen needs to grow its way into becoming a full-service B2B marketing team for Silicon Valley tech companies. They’re doing a big part of that now, but I would actually like to pay them more money to do more stuff — and they just don’t have that yet.

An incredible amount of knowledge and experience. Also, the company owner clearly cares about his clients and the community. I could tell that unlike other vendors, they're not going to just take your money and produce "some" results.

They have high moral values and ethics and treat you with respect. Honestly, I want to grow our company so that we can work even more with DMM. As a business owner you can tell when an investment is going to really pay off. This company is it 100%

This is not the largest company and I could see some small ways that they could improve if they scale much larger. However, that would decrease their value proposition. I like that it's personal and customized.

Not that I know of. I spent way more money and time the first time around with a local company here preparing the website. I would leave the meetings with the first company feeling like my head was spinning and they always gave me a list of things I had to do before it could go any further.

From organic traffic In the last 5 months, 33 contacts created Keywords ranking in positions 1-10 (about 75% of searchers don’t go past the first-page page of Google, which contains results 1-10. Source.) saw a net increase of 32.5% over the lifetime of the campaign.

This traffic is worth an estimated $38,000 per month if you were to pay for it using paid ads to purchase clicks for these keywords. Non-branded traffic (people who aren’t intentionally searching for Cloudtask) saw a net increase of 46%. These are your potential future leads to nurture.

This client has had notable success with their project time tracking (PTT) software, but they were up against heavy competition in a market that was growing increasingly saturated. As they prepared to launch, their professional services automation (PSA) product, they knew they had to pursue more aggressive market growth.
When they first approached FPS, they were looking for an SEO partner to help recover from the traffic and keyword decline they’d experienced after a website redesign.
They had already done in-depth research of their targeted buyer personas but needed help and support in creating the messaging that would move them through the (notoriously slow) SaaS buyer’s journey and compel them to convert.
They also needed help sorting out and focusing on the high-intent (and therefore, high conversion) keywords while eliminating any “vanity” keywords — the mega-volume keywords that look good on paper but don’t always align with intent or result in conversions.
Our approach was to hone in on the most critical keywords and either map them to our client’s existing content or create new content to improve ranking through powerful search optimization. SuccessHacker is a Customer Success advisory firm focused on providing education, recruiting, and consulting to high-growth companies.
The Challenge
SuccessHACKER recognized the importance of scalable and innovative approaches to sales when they partnered with RevenueZen in early 2019, however, they didn’t have the tools, bandwidth, or copywriting expertise to effectively implement and test any of these new ideas.
In order to expand their sales outreach and pipeline, SH knew they needed a team who were expert copywriters (not only to craft their messaging, but to rewrite their website,) SEO masters, and outbound marketers.
The solution
The strategy that RevenueZen came up with for SuccessHACKER was threefold. 

First, RevenueZen would optimize the SuccessHACKER website to ensure their mission was clear and ameliorate any problems with the site. This included a total rewrite of the website copy.
Secondly, RevenueZen built out an entire sales playbook and outreach strategy. Using Linkedin and email, a testable and scalable outbound sales plan was created. The plan remained a living document that would be updated regularly based on feedback from prospects and the SuccessHACKER sales team.
Finally, an entire SEO strategy was custom designed for the SuccessHACKER brand. RevenueZen created a thorough keyword portfolio, audience assessment, editorial guidelines, and blog calendar. RevenueZen coordinated with writers and designers to create written collateral for SuccessHACKER.

RevenueZen collaborated with the SuccessHACKER team on all of these projects to ensure they could continue to expand on them in the future and build on them as they evolved.

Each client's target audience is unique, and that's especially true for Incfile. With a user base composed of scrappy self-starters eager to set off on their entrepreneurial journey, Incfile's audience is anything but indifferent.
With that in mind, we knew an overtly sales-y approach wasn't the way to go. An audience like Incfile's responds best to accurate information and a straightforward choice, not emotional manipulation and negative selling tactics.
So to earn their business via blog posts, we needed to focus on taking Incfile's CTA game to the next level.
We used HubSpot to create custom blog-specific CTAs. Then, we began by mapping the most highly trafficked blog posts to the right CTAs and worked our way through the remainder of Incfile's 900+ blog posts.
Next, we set up reporting to track not only CTA clicks but also where users went after leaving the blog. This helped us understand Incfile's audience, the journey they were on, and the way in which they interacted with the content, which in turn informed how we could better serve their needs.
Finally, we set out to improve each blog post's CTA even further by making them short, sweet, and to the point.

Carevoyance is a sales enablement platform for medical technology companies that helps Medtech commercial teams design, launch and measure sales and marketing campaigns.
The Challenge
Five months after launching the website and trying their hand at managing content marketing in-house, they didn’t have the time to be consistent about content creation or stay on top of the constantly evolving world of technical SEO. 
The marketing team needed a partner that could identify quick SEO wins and execute a long-term inbound marketing strategy that would strategically position Carevoyance as the definitive healthcare sales and marketing solution  while generating a high-value source of leads for their team to convert to sales.
The RZ Solution
Working with the Carevoyance leadership team, RevenueZen:

Built out a full keyword portfolio with laser targeted search terms.
Created a quarterly content calendar to help march down our content strategy. 
Conducted A full SEO audit of the Carevoyance website and implemented technical SEO fixes.

We began Incfile's backlink overhaul by crafting content around popular topics the target audience — entrepreneurs — was truly interested in learning more about.
We also made a point to incorporate industry experts into Incfile's blog posts regularly. This lent authority and credibility to the blog and also increased those experts' likelihood of sharing the blog on their own sites and social media pages.
We set out to establish genuine relationships with industry professionals and potential customers alike to cultivate natural, Google-approved backlinks.
One component of this approach entailed getting in touch with editors via both HARO (a platform that connects journalists with subject matter experts) and traditional PR tactics. By doing so, we created a pool of people we could reach out to, collaborate with, and share new content with.
We also made sure to get involved with the entrepreneur community. We accomplished that by creating community-focused content on Incfile's website and blog and utilizing forums such as Quora, Reddit, SlideShare, and Visually. While links from such forums don't carry as much weight in search results as other links, participating in these communities helps drive brand awareness, organic links, and more traffic to our client's site.
Next, we created high-quality content for other sites, always analyzing the topics that most interest their readers. Once another site's editor approved our pitch, we maintained the same high content standard we have for our own blog.
Finally, we created a grant program for our client that enabled us to help aspiring entrepreneurs. Then, we worked to get the word about it out to as many potential small business owners as possible.

We didn't stop there, though. Once a visitor is on a page, we need to ensure they can quickly find exactly what they're looking for and guide them through the appropriate customer journey accordingly. As they move along that journey, we have mechanisms in place to capture leads and offer genuinely valuable products and services.
Our lead generation philosophy is all about improving the user experience and making it easy for potential customers to ultimately find the best products for them. We accomplished that by adopting new processes for testing, optimizing, and automating.
It was crucial for us to consistently test setups and technical operations in order to identify any previously overlooked bumps in the road. Specifically, we ensured all automation tools were properly set up, connected all lead gens forms to the correct workflows and reporting dashboards, eliminated duplicate forms and workflows, confirmed all lead gen forms received appropriate follow-up and nurture campaigns, and continued to conduct regular checks to ensure everything was functioning as intended and running smoothly.
