The client is an owner of Podcast Booking company that connects business people who want to empower their personal branding with various podcasters, providing both with a high-quality support. There are 2 main services they deliver:

  • Help business people to appear on a popular podcast as a guest.
  • Help podcast owners to find respectable guests to appear on their podcast.

Considering the rapid

growth of podcasts as a medium, these services are extremely useful in a B2B environment, which couldn’t do but influence how the Lead Generation campaign went.


Challenge

The client has contacted us with a need to generate qualified leads for his services. Considering the popularity of B2B podcasts, it was obvious that their target audience is present on LinkedIn.

Our Client tried to contact people by himself and even had some success. However, it was an extremely time-consuming and unscalable process. That is why he made a reasonable decision to use our LinkedIn Lead Generation service.


Outreach

We were looking for relevant connections daily, sending dozens of personalized invitations. After 3 weeks we had a couple of thousands of requests that converted into 600+ MQL connections.It was a considerable database for us to continue working with.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They provided a weekly report with the number of leads and contacts they were working with. Out of hundreds of contacts they produced, we got some replies. These leads were formatted in a good style where I could just click and reply to an interested party. We also had a conference and were booking some meetings (a few of which were international) at a pretty good rate.

How did Respect.Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

They reached out on a weekly basis and were responsive, sometimes even drawing our attention to specific leads in the middle of the week. We weren’t expecting this and greatly appreciated it, seeing as we wouldn’t have checked the leads that frequently on our own.

We found this vendor on Upwork. Other agencies work in the same niche, but they lacked the narrow focus on LinkedIn that Respect.Studio had. That was one of the main factors.

We initially needed a strategy, but the scope of the work broadened later. They built lists, managed our LinkedIn and Instagram pages, contacted potential clients, and performed cold email outreach.

At first, we worked directly with the CEO and our account manager. As we increased the scope of the work, we added two team members: a social media manager and a project manager. I worked directly with the team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It was hard for us to see results since we failed to identify the right target audience. Once we changed our focus to the next group of potential clients, however, we immediately started to receive leads. Our ROI became positive within two months.

We started to scale up with email marketing, social media marketing, and more LinkedIn profile targeting. LinkedIn is now one of our main channels, significantly exceeding our expectations.

We communicate with the team directly through email, and usually receive replies within a few hours, even though we have a big time difference. The CEO always stays in touch on WhatsApp, and we have weekly or monthly calls to discuss the scaling and optimization of the campaign.

Since the beginning of their involvement, we’ve significantly diversified our clientele portfolio and saw leads within the first month of the campaign. We’ve been able to successfully shift our focus to the U.S. market and have completely redesigned our service in response.

Although LinkedIn campaigns are becoming increasingly common, Respect.Studio developed a unique approach that helped us stand out from our competition. So far, we’ve built several thousand connections within LinkedIn alone. As we generated more dialogues with these new contacts, we’ve gained about 400 unique leads and have converted a large number of them into current and future projects.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They’ve assigned a project manager who is in charge of all campaign changes, but we also have access to their CEO in case we need to brainstorm new ideas. Additionally, we maintain daily contact with the account manager who sends us lead updates and provides weekly/monthly reports on our campaign performance.

In terms of communication, we use Skype and Google Spreadsheets to coordinate and manage our workflow. They’re always open to feedback and have already implemented a few of our suggestions.

What makes them unique is that they have an alternative approach to outbound marketing campaigns. Unlike classic marketing agencies, they try to find direct lines to our target company’s decision makers. I’m particularly impressed by their LinkedIn marketing tactics.
