I am a Marketing Director in charge of our marketing team. I am responsible for making sure we hit our deadlines and reach our monthly goals. It is a major company that provides many different utility services.

We hired The Reputation Management Company to help improve the search results after there were a couple of results that weren't the most positive. By having some negative results, we found there were some customers not wanting to join due to the credibility of results.

We chose The Reputation Management Company as they were a company that promised results and we saw the negative articles slowly moving down on the page, and some of them even went to later pages.

What were your goals for this project?

Some of our goals were moving the negative articles down to later pages so that we had improved credibility when searching for our company. I anticipated seeing these articles not present on the first couple pages of results when googled.

How did you select this vendor?

After looking through a variety of different reputation companies to see who could help us out the most, we noticed their awesome reviews and personal experiences of how this company helped other businesses increase their reputation online.

We considered 5 different companies including The Reputation Management Company. There was a team of managers and CMO that discussed the pros and cons of each company, and we found that they were the best fit for what we were looking for.

The produced various different content onto the web, so that our negative results would start lowering down to different pages. They set monthly expectations of how they were going to help us and following up each month with a report of the work they did. Some of my roles were keeping in contact with them to get them any information, questions or anything like that to make their jobs easier.

What was the team composition?

Our main contact with them was with a project manager. The project manager had a team that he worked with. Their team had editors, writers, managers and others who helped make sure every aspect of our goals were being met in a timely manner. The size of the team depends on the goals that you set with them and what they are needing to accomplish for us.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had some negative results that were showing up on the first 2 pages of google, and after working with them we saw those results fall down to later pages. We saw this from the report that they send to us monthly, as well as seeing them lower when we checked google.

Our goals were met each month as we discussed at the very beginning, so we were extremely happy with what they did for us. The biggest difference that I have seen is not having as many customers contact us about the negative results that were showing online.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The Reputation Management Company was extremely professional in keeping us updated frequently with how our results were doing, they were efficient with everything they promised us.

We kept a tracker of our monthly goals that we decided at the beginning so we could see the progress. Anytime we wanted to change/alter something they were always open and willing to work with us and would deliver what is discussed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Some of the strengths that they had were the connections that they had to get good articles produced that we knew were going to benefit us, they also had amazing writers that produced content quickly and detailed. I think what makes them stand out compared to other reputation management companies is their willingness to help and accommodate any challenges that came up.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There isn't really much that they could have done differently, they were extremely nice, upfront, honest and dedicated to helping us improve our search results on google.

The goal of this project was to prevent the protests from spreading to a larger audience online. We wanted to delete/suppress the articles that had already been written while releasing positive articles that would help our image and brand. My team was given the task to promote the content being created for us on our social media channels. The Reputation Management Company has a team of content writers and video producers that worked hard to create us press releases, blog articles, and videos that promoted our brand.

We gave them the topics that we wanted to promote such as the launch of a new product, and they created the content for that event and published it for us. They filled that content with SEO keywords and ranked it highly on search engine searches.

The Reputation Management Company had a team of content writers at our disposal. They were in charge of writing the content to be published for us. They also had other content teams that created other things such as videos for us. These team members worked with account managers who contacted prestigious sites to publish this content on. It seemed they had contacts all across the web.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The articles being written about the protests have been pushed off of the search results for key terms that people use to search our brand. Apart from that our sales have increased due to the positive information that we have been able to publish. These results have gone far beyond my expectations as to what The Reputation Management Company could do for us.

I had team members who communicated with their team through phone calls and emails. If any executive decisions were needed to be made we had a conference call with higher members of their team. The tools used were mainly email and Google drive products such as Google Docs. They were always making sure we approved of the work they were creating. They worked hard to align themselves with our internal sales goals.

I was impressed with the communication between my team and theirs. We had communications with them on a daily basis whether it be article approvals or future projects. I was very impressed how well they were able to relate their ideas to my team.

The negative article injuring our brand was suppressed off of the search results. This resulted in a greater amount of trust from our customers. Apart from this the new articles and information that they put out about our company helped drive new customers to our website and in turn new leads for our salesmen.

I was able to contact the project manager at anytime through email. The responses usually came within the hour and had the information that I needed. They also sent us monthly spreadsheet reports that showed the work that had been completed including any relevant URLs and project information.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I found the drive of this company the most impressive thing. When they set out to complete a task they did everything in their power to complete that task. They were honest and straight forward which is unique to this industry.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I would have liked to have more control over what was being written. A system of article approval would be nice.
