I’m the CEO of InvestPlus REIT. We acquire, manage, and create value with commercial and residential buildings. Our properties are located in Western Canada.

What challenge were you trying to address with remi360 Marketing Solutions?

We were hoping to get more visibility online so that we could become more relevant within our marketplace.

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Remi360 has helped us rebrand our company, starting with a new logo and updated colors before expanding to our PowerPoint presentations, website, and marketing materials. 

The most crucial process has been creating the narrative around our company. Once we had a core message, they used it as a basis for all of our other assets. This has kept everything in sync with our identity, which I’ve never done before.

Currently, we need the most support on our social media, so they’ve done a great job of managing our Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts.

What is the team composition? 

We work with about six people, including the principals.

How did you come to work with remi360 Marketing Solutions?

I’ve known JG (Principal) for quite some time and have been following his work in marketing and real estate. It just made sense to go with him.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent about $30,000 CAD (approximately $22,500 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since November 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The biggest differentiator of remi360’s work is their focus on our brand narrative. They’ve spent a lot of time learning about our business because they understand that marketing doesn’t usually have a one-size-fits-all approach. Having that understanding of what we’re looking for makes for an easy conversation.

How did remi360 Marketing Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

The website took a little bit longer than expected, but that was due to a combination of things. I was a bit late in responding with what they needed to populate the site, and their initial ideas didn’t quite match up with my vision. Part of that might have been because I was unclear or maybe I didn’t understand what I was looking for until I saw things in action. 

Eventually, we overcame that. They were pretty good about starting over from scratch. They now work within our timeframe. It’s all about setting expectations based on our end goal. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The fact that their principals are still involved in our project gives me comfort. It shows that they still care about our business. 

Additionally, they both come from a marketing background but understand that a big component is sales. That means they’re able to work on some of our other needs as well as providing relevant feedback regarding our specific market. The team is also on the cusp on the next platform being used, so I rely on them to keep us up to date.

Are there any areas they could improve?

A challenge for us was setting clear expectations around the deliverables so that we knew what needed to be done and where tasks were. We quickly realized that we needed to set up an agenda before our calls to go over discussion points. At the end of the meeting, we would create a list of action items with timelines attached.

Their team is a lot better about doing that, now. So, if we have any outstanding items, they’ll know what to prioritize by the next meeting.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you understand what you’re trying to accomplish, who your client bases is, and how to cater to their needs, then remi360 is a great fit. Their team has stuck with us and grown with our company. Beyond that, they push us to stay relevant.

We needed help with our marketing funnel, so we could reach more people.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Some areas we’ve worked with them on include Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns. We’ve been able to build our brand narrative and work with remi360 to shift how we do our own copy. 

We’ve also been working with them to add a lot of free content online, since in-person training isn’t really an option for us right now. 

What is the team composition?

They’ve put together a team of about six or seven people to support us. It’s nice because, if we have a technical question, we can go to our technical lead, and our creative lead if we have a creative question. It’s like having an actual team that’s an appendage to our own company. 

How did you come to work with remi360 Marketing Solutions?

We got to know remi360 about two years ago, and we started to get more serious about working together towards the beginning of this year.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since January 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The remi360 team started running our Facebook ads 10 days ago, and our numbers are already up exponentially. For example, last night our reach was around 35,000, and when I woke up this morning, we were at around 48,000. 

The other big effect they’ve had is helping us hone in on what we want to achieve and create as a business. Our clarity of purpose around what we do has really improved since joining with remi360.

How did remi360 Marketing Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

What I love about remi360 is that they have great follow up, but they’re not micromanagers. They give us all the support we need, and if I ask what they need from us, they provide us with a bullet by bullet list over email within a day. They’re organized and responsive, but they’re not texting me over the weekend. It’s empowered support.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their casualness sets them apart. It’s very relaxed. I never go into a meeting with remi360 feeling stressed out. The team makes it fun and relaxing and they talk us through everything. In our industry, we call it casual intensity: they’re high level performers and they’re working hard, but they’re also having a good time. They’re a great match for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think at the very beginning of the relationship, defining the speed at which they work, because they’re really fast. It took us a while to get to their pace and understand how I had to show up.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Especially for small business owners, you might not be used to not knowing all the components and how they work. Let go and trust remi360. Let them ask for what they need and allow yourself to be supported.

We’re a small firm that helps people deal with their debts through bankruptcies or proposals.

What challenge were you trying to address with remi360 Marketing Solutions?

We used to receive direct referrals through credit counselors, but we found that the leads weren’t always the best. Now, we take referrals through advertising and previous clients.

Being a sole practitioner, it’s difficult to wear many hats. I reached out to remi360 because of one of their apps. They can track potential opportunities and other processes. We’ve been working on putting those things together.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Along with helping us set up their app for our business, remi360 has helped with other projects.

They’ve handled my social media through posting on Facebook and Instagram. With my field of business, we’re heavily regulated by the government, so being able to market to people has been a challenge. Just two weeks ago, we were finally able to advertise on Google, which we’re in the process of. remi360 will monitor the ads there.

Their team also redesigned our website for WordPress. They’ll be working with me to put out monthly newsletter and blog content on the site.

What is the team composition?

We work with Bonnie (Co-Founder) and JG (Co-Founder). Jacob (Marketing Manager) handles the advertising, and another contact works on the website. Sam (Editor) works on the blog and newsletter.

How did you come to work with remi360 Marketing Solutions?

I had known JG for several years through other endeavors. I’ve kept in touch with him, and I saw on Facebook that they were giving this webinar. The webinar explained their services. While it focused on real estate, I saw that it could benefit me as well. Within the seminar, they showed people how to set up their app.

How much have you invested with them?

The initial setup cost around $12,000. Now, we’ll pay $400–$500 monthly.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

remi360 knows their stuff. Their app shows me how many leads are coming in through the ads and social media postings. We’ve received over 100 leads, which I fully expect to come to fruition.

How did remi360 Marketing Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They exceeded all of my expectations. Their staff takes a team approach. When we have our Zoom meetings, the whole team is present. We try to record all of our meetings in case someone can’t make it. We also correspond through email. They’re quick to respond to any inquiries.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team has a positive attitude. They truly want their clients to have great results. Our field is a little bit different, so they had to adapt. They’ve got a good grasp of everything.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’ve exceeded all of my expectations. When there are delays, it’s been because I haven’t been able to respond to them as quickly as I should’ve. Even then, they give me a gentle nudge.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you know your business and client base. Once you have that zoned in, it can go very quickly. Their team has a good grasp of what’s needed and does a great job dealing with requests that come in.

Our organization needed a marketing partner to help us get our business out there.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They primarily served as a paid advertising partner, helping us to create and execute ads for specific keywords on Google, as well as to run social media marketing campaigns. They worked across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

What is the team composition?

About four members of their team worked with us on the project, including Bonnie and Jean-Guy (Co-Founders).

How did you come to work with remi360 Marketing Solutions?

I had known Jean-Guy from a previous business relationship, so I knew that they would be able to complete the work that we needed from them.

We spent $30,000 for their services for the year.

The project started around April 2020 and is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They are consistently an incredible company to work with. It’s too soon to see a huge amount of results that we can directly attribute to their work, but we’ve been very satisfied with everything they’ve done so far and are optimistic about the eventual results that we’ll see.

How did remi360 Marketing Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We meet about once a month to discuss the details of the project, and primarily use email and phone call to stay up to date between meetings. They’ve done a good job of hitting all of the deadlines we give them and making sure we’re always on the same page about what to do next.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are truly a company of ideas. Their entire team helps to come up with ways that we can improve the project overall, and we’ve really benefited as a result.
