I’m the CTO of a startup in the digital health field.

What challenge were you trying to address with Remake Labs?

We needed design services for our product. We’d interviewed our stakeholders and decided that we wanted to create a boat that would host the e-commerce website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of the engagement?

Remake Labs helped us define the product and walked us through the design stage. We first clarified the target audience and how to make the product in the best way possible according to the audience’s demands.

We initially had brand guidelines in mind, but Remake Labs suggested a different path. We adjusted to their recommendation, and they used Figma to create the designs.

Additionally, they suggested different branding paths and more features. The team rebranded everything as a bonus.

What is the team composition?

We were in contact with two people: the founder and a graphic designer.

How did you come to work with Remake Labs?

I saw some of their lectures, and they seemed professional. I approached them and told them about our problem. They suggested a design plan, and we started to work.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent close to $15,000.

What is the status of the engagement?

We started working together in July 2020, and the project was finished in five days.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve had a huge success. We’ve gained a large customer base in Israel and the UK, and we’ll have it soon in Australia.

How did Remake Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was excellent. They delivered the design work in five days, and we met other goals during the design stage. The team worked on-site, so we were always together. Overall, it was a very productive collaboration.

We also communicated via WhatsApp and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their level of professionalism was outstanding. Remake Labs knew what they were doing and how to lead the project. They convinced us to make decisions quickly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we were satisfied with their work.

My advice is to follow their lead and have an open mind.

I’m the CEO and founder of a logistics and supply chain company. We’re a marketplace that connects demand for delivery, next-day delivery, and same-day delivery to existing infrastructures and access capacity of drivers around the country.

We needed someone to provide us with UI/UX design work.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Remake Labs helped us create an app from scratch that provides drivers access to all the necessary tools. The team suggested design options and identified user personas by researching and talking with several drivers in New York City.

They mainly utilized InVision for the entire design process.

What is the team composition?

We mainly communicated with Eran (Founder & CEO).

How did you come to work with Remake Labs?

We came across their company through online research and market vetting. We hired them based on their technical knowledge, positive reviews, and cost-effective solutions.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked on this project from August–December 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team successfully produced and launched an MVP. The KPIs we measured involved driver engagement and usability, which increased thanks to the incredible UI/UX design Remake Labs delivered.

How did Remake Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

They were responsive and pleasant from a project management perspective. We experienced some delays in the project, but the team was still able to deliver their tasks on time. Moreover, they were good at researching new technologies to finish the MVP, and were courteous and professional throughout the engagement.

We mainly used JIRA to manage the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Remake Labs’ biggest strength is their familiarity with UI/UX design flow.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they needed to improve on, as they did a great job delivering the product and following up on market research.

We had a design sprint with them. They delivered a highly professional design of a new funnel for our product in just 5 days. The sprint itself is very detailed, well-planned, and professional.

Conversion percentage of the new funnel they created.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They were able to perform outstanding amount of work in just 5 days. I think this is one of their big advantages because it would have taken months if we had created the new funnel without them and worked with other professionals.

1. The result is very high-end and professional.
2. Eran is hands down the best product manager I run into and can solve highly complex product challenges.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Remake Labs could have done differently?

It would be great if we had more time in the sprint to work on planning our funnel instead of the other things we've done.
