Introduce your business and what you do there.

Poornima University is an educational institute in Jaipur-Rajasthan, India. As the dean of admissions, I deal with student admissions at the undergraduate and post-graduate level.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Reinvent Digital Media?

We needed to contact students looking for engineering or management education who fall under our criteria and are eligible to pursue their degrees at our university. Those students use digital platforms like Google, Facebook, and others. To generate these leads, we needed the help of Reinvent Digital.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They help with digital marketing, Google AdWords, PPC, and social media, as well as SEO. There are defined keywords that they work on to rank higher in search results. Social media management is focused on Facebook and Instagram. They've also designed the landing pages for our Google and Facebook ad campaigns and the database management, including tracking leads.

What is the team dynamic?

There is a team of 10–15 people, and they've arranged a special account manager for us, to whom I generally give my requirements. They also have a design team who takes care of all the designing, creative tasks, and artwork. Jaydeep [Founder, Reinvent Digital Media] is the main person who looks after everything.

How did you come to work with Reinvent?

They were a startup two years ago, going to colleges and universities with their presentation. We thought they could work for us because they'd know what we'd be looking for them to do.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February or March 2015, and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They've matched the expectations looking at the competition, especially for the courses we want to focus on and where we want to make our presence known. As for analytics, they know where the traffic is coming from and where we should optimize our campaign. They're also good at handling certain experiments required in digital marketing. They give suggestions as to what we should do in the future, most of which have been worthy enough to go with.

How did Reinvent perform from a project management standpoint?

They're a small group, so if you are looking for a small task, then they can do wonders. But if you are looking for a big project where a large workforce is required, then it might not click.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They've done a fairly good job so far, especially compared to our own team because they're professionals. Initially, we were doing everything in-house. This is the first outsourced company we've ever worked with. We hired them for one year at first, and then based on their review, we extended our contract to the next year.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are certain tools and software that are available nowadays but more expensive. Being a small company, they do not have access to these, which could be a handicap.

Do you have any advice for potential clients?

They're good people, and one can trust them for any digital marketing job, be it social media management, search engine optimization, PPC, or any other types of campaigns.
