El producto que debíamos desarrollar; una UI que consumiera toda la telemetría de estos satélites y la

What challenge were you trying to address with redradix?

We contacted redradix to assist with the development of several web apps. We’re not experts in that area, so we had to look to outside sources.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their team helped with the development of some web applications. They also worked on the frontends of newer products we were developing. For graphics, they used React.

What is the team composition?

Depending on the project stage, we worked with different people. In peak times, we worked with three or four people.

How did you come to work with redradix?

I had known them previously. When the project came up, we asked them for a proposal, and then they came in for a demo. After we evaluated their capacities, we decided to start the project with redradix.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement started with redradix about five or six years ago.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results have been great. The websites represent a technology advance and client presence we didn’t have before. It’s represented an important change in our client’s perception.

How did redradix perform from a project management standpoint?

Every two weeks, we have a review using video calls, Google Hangouts, or our internal tools. We also use Trello for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team excels at usability and presentation. At first, we propose concepts and designs, giving feedback and deciding on our final outlook. It provides us with a general vision of the project’s results, which I appreciate.

Are there any areas they could improve?

When we started working with them, they were more experts in the frontend than the backend. Since then, they’ve entirely focused on the frontend side, changing their business model around that.

I work at a telecommunications company in the TV department. I’m the head of UX and UI, working on interphase development for all devices.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenges were you trying to address with Redadrix?

We needed a functional model of the experience for a new interphase we were developing. It was supposed to simulate the development and all its interactions.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The development was done in a browser plugged into a monitor in which we could imitate the experience we were looking to develop. It was our base for use tests, allowing us to present the project to management. It wasn’t a static model, so they used editors as well as some coding with JavaScript and other tools.

What is the team composition?

There were four people in total: two developers and two frontend experts. Towards the end, they included someone else because we requested a quicker finish time.

How did you come to work with Kiosco Redadrix?

We evaluated three different companies. I’d worked with Kiosco Rededrix before, so included them in this process, which considered quality, prices, and portfolio, etc.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with almost two years ago. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It is hard to provide metrics as it was only a testing development. I can say that the project worked well—it helped us to show our upper management the project and allow them to understand what we wanted to create.

The testing also enabled us to locate some things that needed to be changed before we went into production. Part of the code was reused to create a part of the actual app. In that sense, the work ended up being used for more than we originally had planned. 

How did Redradix perform from a project management standpoint?

Due to internal issues, they were asked to adjust the times and deliver in advance. They responded very well and reinforced their team. The communication flowed very well too. We used Slack, which worked well and also had meetings in their office.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They did great research work and ensured the tools were compatible with what we needed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

For these kinds of projects, we’d like to have them here in our offices, but that wasn’t something they were willing to do. I wish that could have been different.

Redradix was accurate in delivering the output, both in terms of quality and schedule.

At the very beginning, some calls were needed to clarify some terms. Afterward, everything went smooth.

Apart to deliver on time, they provide us extra material, though no needed this time, was really appreciated by our team.

The first conversations were needed because of some of the material provided by us, was not clear, though they noticed that when the project has already started. A previous check-out would have been desirable.
