Millions of video views to celebrate 50 years in business
The Back Story
NOW foods goal was to create a campaign that revolved around their 50th company anniversary. They wanted to create an awesome YouTube video for a video marketing campaign. They had the ultimate goal of 1 million views!
The Idea
Nail down the target audience.
Design a video that captured the audience’s attention.
Create a video marketing campaign.
Push the video mainly on YouTube and Facebook.
Drive traffic to their 50th Anniversary landing page.
Getting to Work
We dove right into the creation of NOW Foods video Ad.
They started with $10,000 for the first two months.
Then $5,000 covered the rest of the year ($25,000 total Ad spend).
By June we had hit our goal of 1 million views!
The Results
How Long Did It Take?
We completed the animation video by March of 2018 and began running the video marketing campaign.
We had until the end of the year to hit our goal of 1 million views!
For YouTube, we used Keywords, Placements, and Remarketing, for Facebook, we focused on the target audience.
By June of 2018 (Just 73 days into the campaign) we reached our goal of 1 million views!).

Ydraw, the creator of explainer videos, started with an excellent idea. They created the whole Whiteboard Animation phenomenon back in 2011.
Two guys on a couch created something of value and needed to educate the world. They both knew that the best way to inform the masses was through online marketing.

How we took Gunship Helicopters from nothing to the hottest experience in Vegas.
Gunship came to Marketing Hy looking for help.
They are competing in Vegas in a competitive market.
The best thing about Gunship is that they have a product people love. They just didn’t have the right marketing campaign.
Gunship did not have access to their website, analytics, Google ads, or social media. This was a problem which forced us to start from the beginning.
We were starting from the beginning.

The goal was to get 40 bookings per month.
At first, Facebook and Instagram brought in a large amount of traffic, but it was a constant battle and takes work to get some ads approved.
Facebook and Google don’t like certain industries. Guns are one of them.

James Garlimah Case Study
New Spotify Single Release With YouTube Campaign.
Marketing Hy and James decided to do the following:
Build out two YouTube campaigns, one for leads and brand consideration, and test for best results
Move down to one primary campaign once it was clear which was more efficient
Use Jame’s music video to push people to the Spotify single
Get the lowest cost per click and conversion possible staying in campaign budget
“Breathe” Music Video
Because we were promoting a song, a solid video was the most important part of the puzzle.
Once we caught someone’s attention, they either clicked through to Spotify, or clicked to visit his YouTube channel.
We wrapped up the campaign with numbers that were even better than expected.
With 31,045 ad views, we had a 50.15% view rate and our Cost Per View ended at CA$0.03 (USD$0.022). Our CPC was CA$2.81 (USD$2.14) and we had a click-through-rate of .49%.
By the end of the campaign, we had 305 clicks directly to James’ single on Spotify and 103 earned views back to his channel.
The best part, is that over the month period of this campaign, the song got picked up by over 10 playlists on Spotify – one of the playlists has over 110k followers, and two of the playlists were official Spotify playlists. The song reached 9,270 plays on Spotify, and the music video has 32,208 views.
With minimal and efficient spending, we were able to get James’ single a great jumpstart after the release.

How Eagle Ranch Academy Battles The Highly Competitive & Ever Changing Rehab Space.
Eagle Ranch Academy is an excellent company that runs a School for troubled teens.
There are a lot of challenges like competition, hate groups, fraudulent clicks, and extremely expensive keywords. Plus Google is always changing the rules.
ERA came to Marketing Hy looking to increase their organic traffic, create a Video Campaign, improve their online marketing, and adjust their PPC campaign.
Like most businesses, ERA wanted more placements and leads at a lower cost. Plus, ERA needed qualified leads. Leads are easy, qualified leads is a constant battle.

Docu-Series Launch Traffic With A Full YouTube Campaign
The Truth About Cancer geared up for their nine part docu-series launch fall of 2018. The goal is to educate viewers on various aspects on cancer – causes, prevention, & treatments. The main obstacle in this launch was breaking down the campaigns and choosing which direction would be best and most efficient to push the rest of the month.
Marketing Hy & The Truth About Cancer decided to do the following:
Build out various YouTube campaigns & test for best results
Move down to one primary campaign once optimized
Use an educating video with a call-to-action
After launch: push each episode as they go live
Lowest cost per click & conversion possible staying in campaign budget
The Result - A Happy Customer
We ended the main launch with 2,190 leads. On day one, our leads were coming in at $35.75/conversion, and by the end of the first phase our average was $4.02 per lead & a conversion rate of 1.56%. This portion of the campaign also got 5,089 clicks at $1.73 each and a .97% click through rate – median CTR is .34% for 2018. The campaign (main launch and episode push) ended with 2,322 leads at $4.28 each and a 1.46% conversion rate. We wrapped things up with 6,132 clicks, $1.62 CPC, and a 1.03% CTR. We brought revenue back to TTAC through both Google Ads and YouTube referrals.

We needed a full marketing campaign. Website, SEO, Google Ads, Social Media Ads, and Google my business. There was probably a lot more to it. I am not that familiar with all the Jargon of online marketing. We just hired them and told them to make our phones ring.

Get customers to rent our Jet Skis so that we could make money.

Basically it started off with our Website. We kept it simple and made sure that we used the right Keywords to get us ranked. We also started Social Media ads and Google ads right away. We went from having nothing to being everywhere on the web.
What was the team composition?
We worked with Kiahna on the project. She was our marketing officer. We are still working with her.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We were extremely successful. Within a couple of months we were #1 position on a few of our Keywords. The website is so simple and clean. It works and our customers didn't have a problem navigating it. More importantly the phones rang and our water craft was rented out all summer.

Very good. They educate me on everything they're doing and continue to show me the results as they come in. We are always adjusting.

The results. I was competing against a few companies that have been in the rental business for years. We are now beating them on many keywords.

There are always areas of improvement. We had one or two weeks where we had to increase our spend on Google to keep the phone ringing, but that was because we had to turn them off because we didn't have the inventory. I expect there will be more improvements to come in the future.

Marketing Hy is an expert on YouTube channels and rankings. That is how we found them. We didn't know they ran full digital marketing campaigns until after spoke with them on the phone and looked at the website. After multiple conversation, we signed the contract and started.
