The team provides ongoing digital marketing and optimization services for our Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Bing, and YouTube. Overall, their work involves scaling our digital marketing efforts, which includes creating ads, analyzing their effectiveness, and providing reports.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We track multiple metrics such as expenses and sales on a monthly basis, and they’re quick to identify what’s working and what needs to stop or change. Overall, we’re satisfied with the work they’ve done, and we plan to continue the partnership for the foreseeable future.

How did Reap Commerce perform from a project management perspective?

They laid out an easy-to-follow progress schedule, and we revisit it monthly to make necessary adjustments. We communicate via email, text, and phone. We have in-person meetings, too.

What did you find most impressive about them? 

They’re passionate about providing results and are quite vested in the success of our company. Above all, they’ve become our friends, not just business associates.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We hit a slump for a couple of months when we switched platforms, but when we addressed that with them, they helped us get back on track. It was more our fault than theirs.

We hired Reap Commerce to help optimize our amazon business -Because we had never done any of the back end work when we set up our amazon account - there was much work to be done and our goals were pretty general - increase our number of impressions and conversion rate and improve our ranking

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We met Brice through the SKU track 9 we participated in last winter and he imnpressed us with his expertise and success building other amazon businesses as well as his professionalism. He's a good communicator and so is his team =that's super important to us.

Reap has helped identify our weaknesses with amazon and reviewed our KPI's, came up with an action plan to address the agreed upon areas of improvement and we started a multi month approach to continuosly improve our KPI's. Better searchable key words, product expansion, sampling boxes, developedvendor imformation page along with videos, efficient customer touch points. Monthly meetings to communicate performance and make adjustments as needed in order to stay on task.

Their onboarding team of 4-6 people initially did an assessment of our needs then we were assigned a key point person - the rest of the team is avaialble when needed.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We've doubled our sales since the start and are planning on continued doubling of sales performance and improved metrics.

Communication is king - everyone at Reap is super responsive and prompt. OUr team lead, Lizzie is quick to notify us of any issues and ready to offer solutions and support to address whatever situation arises.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have a lot of experience building amazon sites and maximizing exposure and optimizing all the areas of performance. Reap is a professional, effective, and solution-based partner, and they are what we need to move the needle in Amazon.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had one issue where our team lead didnt have the experience needed to address a growth opportunity within Amazon - but she quickly collaborated with another coworker who did and we're working through it together. We consider Reap part of our BeeFree team and we feel they are passionate about helping us grow and thrive.

For the SEO efforts, we've worked with them on keyword research and strategy. They’ve also worked on lead generation and optimization efforts through paid programs geared toward the target audiences. Their process includes conducting audits and giving direction for updates to our clients’ websites

What was the scope of their involvement?

Reap Marketed developed our Google Ads strategy and oversaw our progress on Google Analytics. They refined and targeted important keywords. They also focused on converting our leads through email marketing tactics. This entailed setting up our MailChimp and capturing email addresses.

I’d reached out to several agencies that I found through a Google search. After meeting with them, I was taken by our sense of synergy. I chose them because they understood our budget and how to approach the project.

The project began in July 2018 and is still ongoing.

Thanks to their work, our conversions have nearly doubled. We’re extremely pleased with their work. They truly go the extra mile and demonstrate an amazing commitment to their clients. Allison, in particular, makes it clear that she really cares about our success, and she’s done such a great job.

They’ve been excellent. We mostly communicated through email and phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve really gone above and beyond with their work. On a couple of occasions, they went outside of the scope of our projects because they knew it would benefit us. I felt that they really, really cared.

No, not really. With every agency, it’s always a process to get to know each other, before you achieve an optimal dynamic with them.

Pull the trigger—work with them. They’re definitely an agency that cares.

I’m the former director of internet marketing for SouthStar Communities. It’s a master-planned community developer throughout South Texas Hill Country. I handled all of the website design and development, social media, paid search campaigns, as well as strategy and budget.

What challenge were you trying to address with Reap Marketing? 

We were a small marketing group whose main goal was to generate sales leads for the purchase of land. We had to outsource a lot of our work on copywriting, creative design, and analytical reporting.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

One of the bigger projects Reap Marketing worked on was taking design concepts that we’d developed and building them out on the HubSpot platform. They installed all of our tracking codes and set up goals and analytics. In terms of recurring projects, they did a number of A/B tests of offers, messaging, colors, and forms. For example, they tested a long form versus a short form on some of our landing pages. They also tested the effectiveness of us having a local telephone number versus an 800 number. 

Reap Marketing tried to better convert our existing traffic without spending additional money. They developed a landing page layout that was optimized to improve conversion rates. Another ongoing project was identifying trends in our PPC campaigns. They provided us with a monthly report that made recommendations on how we could capitalize on those trends. They also created calls-to-action and banner ads for us.

Our main point of contact was Landon (account manager Reap Marketing). She worked with an account strategist who would pull together reports and make recommendations.

How did you come to work with Reap Marketing? 

I worked with Brice (founder & CEO, Reap Marketing) at a previous company. When he left that position to start Reap Marketing, I was one of his first clients to come on board. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent in the range of $7,000–$8,000 a month.

What is the status of this engagement? 

During my time there, we worked together from May 2012–July 2017. I believe that SouthStar Communities is still working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Depending on the campaign, Reap Marketing helped us increase conversion rates from approximately 1% to 3%–5%. The landing page optimization format worked well, converting at 2–3 times better than standard pages. In addition, two A/B tests proved to be very successful in that we were able to draw conclusions from them really quickly.

How did Reap Marketing perform from a project management standpoint? 

Project management was probably Reap Marketing’s strongest suit. We had a lot of fires to put out quickly because of the nature of our business. They were always quick to help us every time we called them for an emergency fix or update. Their reporting was excellent. Reports were always delivered in a timely fashion, easy to read, easy to understand, and very visual. 

They have so many experts that add input to the data and the analysis, yet they're all on the same page. It's quite effective. We had a monthly call with my whole remote team. As I was the only one in Dallas, I met with them in person on a weekly basis. 

What did you find most impressive about them? 

I appreciated the way that they approached their work. Reap Marketing's focus was to help us generate leads and improve our conversion rate optimization. We had existing business that was doing well but we thought we could be doing better. They maintained a single-minded focus on that goal for us. 

They also didn't nickel and dime us for little charges like other agencies do. I didn’t have to worry about extra phone calls or if they spent time gathering additional information. They’re transparent in their billing. I wasn’t going to end up with a huge bill if we needed their help to quickly fix something. They were incredibly responsive in figuring out what the issue was and getting it fixed.

I honestly can't think of anything. I continue to work with them in my consulting business.

Their team researches keywords relevant to our business and write content to drive traffic to our site. The content writing is a collaborative process with our team. They made some great changes to our site. Even today, our restaurant appears consistently in the top results for important search terms. They’ve helped us stand out and are a huge boon to our business. Conversion rates for banquets and reservations are up, and they helped us reach more guests on a daily basis through the website. Our database grew, and our guest retention is much stronger than before.

They managed the project well. Most of our communication was through email, and we met on a monthly basis. I was impressed by our project managers; they were consistently organized and handled themselves really well.
