I'm the co-founder of a strategic marketing and consulting firm called MomentumMKT, LLC.
What challenges were you trying to address with Ray CPA, P.C.?
We needed assistance with accounting and tax preparation.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They help us set up our business as an LLC and register 1099 employees that work with us. They continue to provide tax services to us.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact is Josh (Owner), but I’ve also worked with several other employees.
How did you come to work with Ray CPA, P.C.?
I received a referral from my broker. I liked my conversations with them, so I decided to move forward with them.
How much have you invested in them?
We’ve invested at least $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in the fall of 2015, and our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Before hiring them, I was spending a lot of my nights and weekends doing all our accounting and tax prep. The biggest impact they’ve made for me is saving time, and allowing me to focus on my core business.
How did Ray CPA, P.C. perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve performed very well. The team consistently delivers on time, so I never have to worry about something not being filed on time. We receive quarterly reports and having meetings over the phone and via email.

Their process is streamlined for efficiency and the team is proactive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Sometimes it can be a little confusing which teammate to go to about a specific issue.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It’s important to go into the engagement knowing what processes you want them to own, and which processes you want to own.
