Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of a leadership development firm; we offer workshops and coaching for leaders across industries.

For what projects/services did your company hire Rapidmind Technologies Pvt Ltd, and what were your goals?

We hired them because our Google rating was non-existent and we wanted to boost our visibility to potential clients.

How did you select Rapidmind Technologies Pvt Ltd and what were the deciding factors?

They came with a very strong recommendation from two sources I trust. In the initial conversations they came across as very informed and also very clear about the scope of the services they provided.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

They first developed a wordpress version of our website navgati.in. They did a very good job of matching the design. We are on a monthly retainer plan with them for seo services. They mainly help us(our website) get more visibility on Google. They also create pages for the open programs we offer from time to time.

One Person, Mr Vinay, COO, RAPIDMIND.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since implementing the SEO efforts, we are ranking on the first page for a couple of important keywords. Our position is steadily improving on the others.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

Rapidmind has been great at meeting our expectations. We mainly communicate over phone and they are normally very responsive. They maintain a dashboard of key metrics and we have a monthly review with them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're very client-oriented. I like their diligence and professionalism. Through the pandemic, I didn't experience any drop in their levels of service - a testimony to their commitment.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could be more consistent with providing updates as a task is in progress; they prefer to finish the job and then communicate which can leave me not having a status in the interim.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

We started about 12 years ago and function as India’s first consulting organization focused directly on diversity and inclusion. Our offerings span many different industries and organizations. We have a small team of consultants and a network of outsourced resources. I’m the executive director, so I take care of all administrative matters and reaching solutions to our problems.

What challenge were you trying to address with Rapidmind Technologies Pvt Ltd?

We hadn’t given much thought to our digital presence. Of course, we had a website. However, there was plenty of room for improvement and innovation.  

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with them with the goal of restructuring our website to make it more accessible to our audience. They developed the website based loosely on our existing solution, ensuring that our content flowed more fluidly. Over the years, we’ve expanded our relationship to encompass much of the work surrounding our digital presence. For instance, they’ve also worked to make our email system more robust.   

What is the team composition?

While their team scaled depending on our needs, they provided us with six developers in our most urgent phases. That includes one member of their leadership team, who organized the effort.

How did you come to work with Rapidmind Technologies Pvt Ltd?

When I mentioned our need for a new website to a friend, she recommended their team. 

How much have you invested with them?

Including our monthly retainer spend with them, we’ve spent about $10,000 on their services. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in 2016, and our collaboration is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In the first few years, we prioritized getting our site and email system cleaned up. However, in the last year, they’ve truly optimized the site. At this point, we’re receiving quite a few qualified leads through our site. While this is the result of several factors, we’re fairly certain that their work played a big role in obtaining those leads.   

How did Rapidmind Technologies Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been very hands-on in their project management, which has been helpful to our team. While they likely use project management tools internally, we weren’t involved at that level. They’re effective in delivering solutions on time while maintaining enough flexibility to accommodate our needs.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve enjoyed building a personal relationship with them over the past few years. Their responsiveness to urgent situations was instrumental to our success. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’d love to see more of their individual team members build the skills needed to handle projects without needing a senior teammate to get involved. I’m excited to see them grow and scale in the future. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s important to build a personal relationship. We make sure that they’re a part of our communications and conferences to ensure that we have personal involvement between our teams.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m one of the founders of an education and branding firm. So, we work with schools and colleges on their communications strategy.

What challenge were you trying to address with Rapidmind Technologies Pvt Ltd?

We hired them to develop our website and websites for a few of our clients. We have a great design team, but we didn’t have the capabilities to create a functioning platform that was compatible with mobile devices.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We used a WordPress backend. At first, they showed us a few HTML wireframes that converted into WordPress. That was one of our requests because a lot of my team knows how to operate a WordPress backend, and in the future, we will require a lot of updating and things like that.

Mainly, we wanted it to be simple for our audience to find us. It’s very SEO-friendly. So, that was kept in mind throughout the project. At the same time, the platform seems like an agency website and it isn’t overwhelmed with information.

One of the founders was working with us, and on a day-to-day basis, we were coordinating with two other people.

One of my friends recommended them. They’ve worked together on a few projects, so we hired them.

They’re a small team, but very hard working and easy to connect with. They were readily available. We could get on a call almost every week, and there was a lot of back-and-forth. So, I found it very easy to work with them.

In total, it cost about $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

This project lasted from August 2018–January 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve been generating a lot of leads to our website. On top of that, the website functions really well, even with all the new traffic. In terms of on-page SEO, the site performs really well too. We’ve been able to rank quickly on the first page of Google for certain keywords, which was a big priority for us. It has had a positive impact on our business for sure. They did a great job helping us with the wireframe for the website and framing the right pages, and making sure that we do well in terms of SEO.

How did Rapidmind Technologies Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

We mostly communicated over email, but we also had video calls once a week.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to reach out and their response time. They’re not in the same city as us, but their efforts made it easy to communicate and work together to make changes in real-time. Our website wasn’t super difficult to build, but we couldn’t find a team that was as responsive as them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It took about 90 days to develop the website, but we had about 45 days in mind before we started the project. It would be great if they could deliver in a more timely manner.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Definitely go ahead and work with them. They’re honest and great to work with. You can trust them.
