I'm the founder and director of a financial consulting company called Caravel Advisory.

For what projects/services did your company hire Quixom Technology?

Quixom developed a business intelligence and ERP [enterprise resource planning] solution.

What were your goals for this project?

I needed the application to be completed within a year. Quixom delivered the solution on time, which allowed me to share it with my customers.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I was approached by Quixom when I posted my requirements on Upwork. Once I started to work with Quixom, I never had the need to select another Vendor.

Describe the project in detail.

I needed a way to manage financial transactions, provide timely payment alerts, and create a hierarchy of transactions based on the agreement made between parties involved. Now, any agreement that’s filled in the database can be altered at any point in time, and the application will adjust the associated transaction value or time accordingly. Users can easily check historical data, which can be displayed clearly as graphs.

What was the team composition?

Two people from Quixom were working on the backend and frontend using Django and Python.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The application was completed within a year. Since then, we’ve been working on additional development tasks. Because multiple people are involved in this recent initiative, I can’t reveal any more information.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I used to have a daily chat or call with the team to go over task allocation. Quixom is really process-oriented and timely.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We had no stalling moments in the development journey. Having daily calls allowed us to have an agile-like approach to development. Quixom has an impressive ability to adapt their technology stack.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I believe Quixom needs to grow more in terms of their team size. Having a global presence would let them partner with even more clients.
