Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Marketing & Brand Manager at a Sydney based Toyota, Hyundai and Kia Dealership.
For what projects/services did your company hire quickclips video production, and what were your goals?
Every year we host an AGM for our 180 staff members to attend. Unfortunately of course like all things these days, it was in a virtual format. Usually we have strong attendance and interest in Dealership results and it is always a great night to thank our team and celebrate our business achievements, milestones and awards. We altered our focus slightly this year to focus solely on our people and less on financials which we felt fitting in the circumstances of lock downs and stand downs.
Whilst not being able to have the crowd for awards and presentations, we still had the opportunity to present and acknowledge our team through a video that the Quick Clips team produced for us. The 10-minute video was central to our event and was an important way for us to showcase to our staff that we still see them and appreciate them and their efforts over the past year.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We have worked with the Quick Clips team for over five years and they have been absolutely spot on with every brief and project we have worked with them over this time. We have worked with the team across a variety of styles including video, editing, photography, animation and voiceovers projects.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
Alvaro and the Quick Clips are always so instrumental in all stages of our video projects. When we brief the team, they always have valuable feedback and ideas to consider and always happy to share samples of previous work to ensure our expectations are understood and met.
From assistance with our scripting to ideas on structure, formatting, music and more - it's always a 2 ways partnership with Quick Clips and they always continue to refine until we're completely satisfied with the finished product. Usually for our AGM video we would spend 2 days on-site across our multiple locations shooting footage to capture as many of our team members as possible to work within the theme for the year.
This year, we had to do this remotely and use footage that either the staff took (based on great tips/tricks provided by Quick Clips) intertwined with footage we had from recent projects. It was a great process working with Alvaro to develop a video that was a little different to our usual format, but the execution and process was still as remarkable as usual.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
For the latest project we worked with Alvaro del Campo and one of his editors, Jamie Murray. We have had the fortune to work with a lot of the Quick Clips team over the years, and even more fortunate that Alvaro always heads up our projects.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We always have over 120 of our staff attend our AGM's and even in the virtual format this year we maintained the same attendance level. The video is always a showcase at our AGM for our staff, who work across many Departments and locations, to be celebrated and recognised. Once again this year the video was a huge highlight and acknowledged by so many of our staff as being so amazing, even when all the content had to be prepared remotely. The standard was as exceptional as ever.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
As always, Alvaro was easily contactable, and he is always very responsive and thorough with any questions or feedback. The updates are sent via hightail and communication is usually via this platform or email. This project had a tight timeframe by the time we collated all the content and the deadline was achieved, in fact a day ahead of schedule.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The Quick Clips team have always cared about our projects. They have always taken the time to understand our business, our objectives of each and every project and delivered us with something that we are immensely satisfied with and proud to release internally or to our guests.
Even the smallest change when you're at the tail end of a project is never to much to edit/change and you can sense the pride and professionalism every member of their team has. They are always on time, on budget and can’t be recommended more highly.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No, completely satisfied with their service.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Marketing Manager at Cheeki, a Sydney-based brand that distributes quality stainless steel hydration products
For what projects/services did your company hire quickclips video production, and what were your goals?
Cheeki introduced a new cleaning range called CHANGE in July 2020. CHANGE is Australia's first tablet-based cleaning range. We were look at creating a video range that shows how to use the product, the benefits of the new product and the effectiveness of the product. The goal was to create quick how-to videos with a side of humour to really show off the new product.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
After reviewing a number of other companies, quickclips video production stood out due to the transparency of the project, they in depth conversations about the project and their firm understanding of the project but the biggest deciding factor is that you deal with Alvaro who the is production manager and knows his stuff. Rather than deal with an account manager you deal with a professional right from the start.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
We started with a couple of chats about the project but once the project was confirmed it was a breeze. The QuickClips team were always there to help. From little questions about the talent to writing the script. Just before filming I worked closely with the production manager and director to set up the requirements and mood board.
On the day the team were very welcoming and never at one stage do you feel like you're in the way. They were welcoming me to get involved and I felt like part of the Quick Clips team. They were very professional, prompt and efficient. For post production it couldn't have been easier. Just a few drafts to go back and forth but it was such an in-depth consultation from the beginning that the end product was just excellent with minimal back and forth.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
Working with Alvaro it was just easy. He was very professional and make the post-production and easy process. As mentioned before, Alvaro took the project so professionally since the start that he had such a deep understanding of what we wanted there wasn't much need for feedback and changes.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After sharing the videos with the team they were very happy with the outcome. The colours, graphics and story was just want we were looking for. Informative yet funny and engaging.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The management style was great. Very transparent with communications through emails and calls. For me my role is very busy and it was refreshing to be able to hand a project to QuickClips and have them really take control and bring me in at certain key areas of discussion. Besides that I was more than happy to take a back seat in the production side of things.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their professionalism. Everyone involved knew what they were doing. As a busy manager trying to manage 2 brands it was great to have such amazing help.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not from me, what I experienced was great and I wouldn't change it.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the marketing executive at Online Retailer Conference & Expo, Australia's #1 meeting destination for the ecommerce industry to access relevant strategic insights, solutions, technologies and connections.
For what projects/services did your company hire quickclips video production, and what were your goals?
In this instance, we needed some updates made to an existing quickclips video to make it viable for a particular promotional opportunity, and we needed them made urgently. We have a great relationship with the quickclips team, so had no hesitation reaching out to see if the updates could be made in the timeframe needed.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We've worked with quickclips previously; they're a trusted partner of ours.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
Upon reviewing previous video productions from Online Retailer 2019, I reached out to Alvaro from quickclips directly, to see if our desired updates for a 2021 video could be made.
Alvaro was very quick to respond and took all feedback on brilliantly, swiftly making any further updates and presenting a fantastic refreshed product created in record time and completely on brand.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
I worked directly with Alvaro, production manager at quickclips. This was my first time working with Alvaro in this capacity, and it was a very easy experience. We had some additional updates to make upon receiving the first revision back which Alvaro happily made in a timely manner.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The video generated great buzz, it looked phenomenal and as such, we will be using it throughout our campaign.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Our exchange was via email and the responsiveness and helpfulness of Alvaro is truly commendable.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Alvaro was extremely helpful and put my mind at ease. When I emailed him with an urgent last minute request I wasn't sure we would be able to make the necessary deadline.
Alvaro worked our request in among all of his existing work to ensure we made our deadline (turned the whole thing around in 24 hours including additional updates from us) which we really appreciated.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Absolutely no improvements could be made. Incredible service.
Thanks to quickclips video production's work, the video was a huge highlight in the dealership's annual general meeting. The team was easily contactable, very responsive, and thorough with any questions or feedback. They took the time to understand the business and always cared about the projects.
