This project was for a mobile card game most similar to Magic: The Gathering. Users could play against one another in online matchmaking and play in small tournaments for money. There are over 150 pieces of unique art for this project as each card has a dynamic pixelated image associated with it.

We are currently working with:

We're currently still in development, but the pictures and art for the game look great.

We're communicating through Discord and we have daily stand-up meetings where we check on progress of the game.

They were willing to put forth a full team for us to work with, whereas other developers in this space only put forth one person

As we developed the project more and the full scope of the project dawned on the development team, they mentioned adjusting the timeline to account for this, but the scope never changed from the beginning of the project.

From cartoons to 3D rigged models. That is the assignment. Within Zbrush the team of QUeppelin models the characters and add the needed textures. From there we need a rigged model in Cinema4D, the software we are using internally, and they are doing that really well. We own all files in the end so the team of Queppelin realy acts like an extension of our team.

Until now Queppelin is delevering in the right speed and right quality. Especially when instructed well they are up to speed in a short time.

We required a VR simulator for training drone pilots to fly our survey drones. We wanted to give the student pilots the ability to fly drones in a low risk environment where we can simulate difficult flying conditions without risking our real drones.

The project was required to run on a VR headset, a Meta Quest 2 in this case. I provided a model of the world in which I wanted the drone pilot to be able to fly in along with some rules about how I wanted it to fly. Queppelin utilised the Unity engine to realise the VR experience via a software program that ran as an APK on the headset.

There was a project manager and a lead developer that I worked with.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The application is still not ready for general use at present, there will have to be further enhancements to it to make it into a useful training tool. I have been able to fly the drone around in the scenery and the experience is very much like how I envisaged it would be.

At the beginning of the project we had discussions around the intial project specification documentation I provided. We worked out in detail what would be delivered and then I didn't hear much until the first version was available to test. Once we had the 1st version to discuss, we then went through some rapid iterations to iron out and differences I felt there were between my vision and the product.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They seemed to understand the specific requirements of what I wanted and it was not their first attempt with such a use of the technology, so I felt they would be able to move ahead with it without too much risk of failure.

I was pleased with my interactions with the company.

The project was a detailed long project that needed attention to detail. The team was ready to listen and corrected any discrepancies that arose. In the end we ended with a project that amazing and can wait to launch it.

We had weekly to bi-weekly meetings to clarify any points and for feedback. Communication was handled well, with frequent project updates.

They offered great support and alternatives to any technological road block and communicated well. They had a good network of experts to deliver solutions for your project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Because of time zone difference with the US, most calls have to be early morning. It would be great to be able to schedule meetings in the afternoons or evenings. On certain occasions they accommodated evening meetings.

We divided the whole plan into short goals to be covered in multiple phases. As of now, things are going on in the way they were planned. I hope, it will continue in the coming times ahead.

The number one reason that I chose Queppelin was that my friend highly recommended them for metaverse development services. Not only are the prices reasonable, but the services are also of high standards. Secondly, I checked out their website and I was impressed by their clientele which included some big names like Facebook, Google, and Nissan. Moreover, they were also featured on Burj Khalifa on the basis of their services.

Queppelin was handed over with the duty of developing the land for our firm in the metaverse, carrying out constructions, creating 3D models of our products, and developing games that can be played in that metaverse. They were also responsible for exploring the NFTs for us to invest in and utilize in the metaverse.

The team comprises a Project manager, 3d modelers for characters as well as objects, python developers, and unreal engine WebGL experts.

Currently, Queppelin is working on the 3D models required for our project. These can be turned into NFT and put on sale on the NFT marketplace. The overall experience till now has been really great and worthwhile.

They utilized multiple communication channels for a project to facilitate rapid communication. In fact, in my experience, I found that Queppelin stands out in terms of maintaining good communication. This is because Queppelin appoints a dedicated SPOC for each project to facilitate speedy transmission that keeps the clients well-informed. They also seek timely feedback for course correction and I was really impressed by their dedication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

There were two things that impressed me a lot. The first is the level of seriousness and dedication to the work. Everything was planned and fixed how they have to execute it. Second is the clarity of their communication keeps me well informed about the progress of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think till now everything has been just fine, there were certain times when we went in different directions but that's totally fine as long as the solution is reached in the favor of the project. I will wait till the completion of the project to have any say on this aspect.

They delivered all the 3d modelled charts as we expected and with high quality.

The consultation and their communication is impressive. At times we differ on the opinion but we mutually decide the task in favor of the project. Slack, whatsapp, email, phone, discord – they are everywhere and help me in community building too.

Quality of work and communication. Cant expect anything better.

Pricing. They are not the least of the proposed costs. But once you start working, you can realize the return you get on investing with them.

Queppelin was able to meet the timelines despite Covid and also provided significant thought leadership for our new app.

The PM style was flexible based on the stage of the development. During UX, the team provided designs in the tool and then maintained regular communication for dev progress.

Ability to work with different and latest technologies with significant engagement from the leadership team. It was a very collaborative approach.

The team was very flexible with feedback and ideas so no major concerns.

We needed help with an animation project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We plan on having them complete the character and environmental design, as well as the animation for a comedy adventure project. It’s about little people that venture out on a trip to meet a music producer. Currently, we’re still in the pre-production phase, and they’re doing the 3D designs.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Currently, their work is really great. The quality is nice, and our communication is flowing smoothly. As of right now, we have no issues. People on my staff have given good feedback so far, but we’re all interested to see how the animation turns out. That’ll really be the tell-all, and the determining factor if the show gets picked up by a network.  

How did Queppelin perform from a project management standpoint?

So far, they’ve been meeting deadlines pretty well. Everything has been in a timely fashion, and the telltale sign will be in the next 1–2 weeks; if they can start the animation on time, it’ll keep us on budget.

Their communication is really good. The project manager does a really good job communication and relaying information.

At this stage in the project, I can’t put my finger on anything they’d need to change.

My advice is to do your research, to make sure they’ll be able to fit your needs. Make sure you have documentation and paperwork in line with whatever may come.

We wanted to show transformation on the site...something fun and memorable. We hired Queppelin to design and implement the WebAR experience of these transformations. There are nine in all.

We searched a few freelance sites, ending up on Upwork. There were a few vying for the project. We landed with Queppelin due to their proof of experience in this field. Their quality showed in the portfolio.

They were to design, implement and deliver WebAR experiences to a Wordpress site. We started meeting regularly on Slack to generate the ideas and initial concepts.

As the team became aware of direction, the meetings turned into a display of the animations. Once animations were complete, the assets were turned over to a Wordpress developer who integrated the assets into the website.

There were three main team members: project manager, animations designer and a developer. The co-owner was part of our daily scrums many of the times.

The website has a 'wow' factor that it didn't have before. Visitors comment on the coolness of the WebAR elements. The final product was the high quality that I had anticipated at the start of the project.

They have already addressed this, but when I felt the project was in jeopardy of completing, the owners stepped in and made this a very successful project.

A friend of mine used their services last year and she was more than impressed. She recommended me to connect with them. After an initial couple of interactions, I was sure they knew what to do and can deliver the solution effectively.

We had a quick short idea of creating a game for the client to capture the engagement of the kids and Queppelin team gave us good ideas to act on. They expanded the skeleton idea of developing an AR game to the minutest of detailing.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Queppelin developed a great game (just like Pokemon Go) for kids and the children using our products could earn exciting discounts. The stores recorded good reviews from the customers and also the increased sales.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Pulkit did all the project management by himself and the SOPs were handed effectively over Jira, E-mail and Phone.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their communication and their product delivery were the most impressive aspects of the engagement.

Too aggressive on followups. Even if you don't reply within a day, they will email/call you which could be a little intrusive.
