PCADE - Digital marketing platform
Background
PPC Ad Editor (PCADE) is the platform helping digital marketing agencies and solo ppc managers communicate with their clients.
Challenge
There were several challenges in this project:
- Create an easy to use and convenient user interface.
- Allow ppc managers to create, store, and search through internal objects representing Google Ad Words objects.
- Maintain full sync between PCADE and Google Ad Words in both directions.
- Provide features for previewing and discussing ppc campaigns and all their objects.
Solution
The full hierarchical internal objects model was developed to reflect all significant Google Ad Words objects. We built a full set of visual managing services to represent this model and used Google API to bind these internal objects to Google Ad Words objects. It allowed establishing the full two-way sync process.
We introduced a review project as the key point of all multi-stage approval process and created a set of visual features to maintain this process.
Result
PCADE successfully addressed all the challenges and got the most positive feedback from digital agencies. According to them, the average overall time needed to create and launch a complex ppc campaign from scratch decreased by 35%.

I’m the CEO of Next Generation Health Analytics.
What challenge were you trying to address with QPMSoft?
We engaged them to help us develop a healthcare analytics training platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
QPMSoft has built a platform for end users who want to learn about analytics within the healthcare domain. First, we shared our existing platform and the issues we were facing. Once the team corrected the issues, we shared documentation and a roadmap for additional features and functionality. Based on my direction, they developed the features and integrated the platform with other SaaS products.
They’ve mainly used database technologies such as PostgreSQL, PHP, and CSS for the website’s frontend. They’ve also built a custom open-source platform with pre-populated workflows based on our requirements. QPMSoft has also helped us migrate from one platform to another, and they’ve been providing maintenance support. Now, our team is working on the training system's content and documentation so that end users can take advantage of it.

How did QPMSoft perform from a project management standpoint?
We have a daily stand-up meeting to review the prior day’s work and respond to QPMSoft’s queries. As pieces fall into place, I can see outcomes for each feature and watch the website scale. The agile process enables me to make suggestions and test features once they’re completed. They’ve adapted to our changing plans and evolved with us.
The team has responded positively to feedback and implemented it quickly. They’ve also addressed our queries effectively via email and Zoom. We’ve tracked progress using Google Sheets and Docs and reprioritized tasks as needed. The visibility into progress has made me comfortable that they’re completing tasks within the required time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
QPMSoft’s distinguishing features have been their responsiveness and technical prowess. They understand how to communicate with us on a strategic and technical level, which is impressive. We need a custom landing page builder to add into our CRM system that we were building.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We submitted a tender for work and Max and his team responded with a strong application and a detailed overview of our request.

The team was responsible for designing and implementing the entire process following the Business Requirements. They were also responsible for integrating it with other parts of the application that were already in full development mode. Despite the challenges of working on common code the team did an amazing job.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We only worked with Max as the project manager. He managed his team behind the scenes which was absolutely perfect.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Max and his team delivered the code to us and made several changes at the last minute to make sure it integrated with our existing system.

Max was on top of things right from the start. We had several joint meeting where he was always prepared to ask the questions that he had on the current stage. This allowed us to quickly get through the requirements and into development quickly with little friction.

I’m the director of an open-source platform that provides information to the public about the organization, rules, and procedures of state institutions. The public can find information about the institution, contacts, location as well as draft their documents and locate a database of legislation.
What challenge were you trying to address with QPMSoft?
We needed help with custom development for our web platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed our open-source platform. It has internal IP telephony, a legislation database, and work done by other developers. Their team created the web portal, database, interface, authorization, and electronic signature. The software library was designed by other developers. All other basic software features were developed by them.
The project isn't finished because we have plans to add more functionality. Now, we mostly work on improving the database.
What is the team composition?
There was a team leader who organized the team as well as one lead software designer, one analytics specialist, a database person, 2-3 software designers, and a resource that wrote instructions.

Somebody from our team knew about them.

We spent about $100,000.

We started working together in 2015 and finished it at the end of 2016.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their work was done quickly and well. Even the first version contained very few mistakes. For the first version, we presented it to the public within six months.
I recently contacted them to help with a new job relating to electronic judgments. We plan on using them for that too.
How did QPMSoft perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management was done well. We drafted requirements, but they led us from there. They proposed some technical features like electronic hearing and electronic signature, along with what technologies to use. They gave us technology choices that helped us save money.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were responsible, working with us without holding our hand. Starting from technical requirements, they guided us toward the final product. That was good for us because most of our team doesn't have a lot of time to spend on the design of the system. They gave us the code and the intellectual property rights for the product at the final stage.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing I’d have them improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It was comfortable working with them because of our flexible model. They took extra time testing because they wouldn’t receive the final payment until we received the finished product. If it was necessary to change something, they did it within our budget.

We have 2 applications that needed to be synched: one Field Service Management (Synchroteam) that manages our team field operations, and our accounting (Bexio). This was possible thru Web services using the published APIs for respective solutions.

QPMSoft was the best communicating during the tendering process, asking the right questions. We felt very confident from the first minute that they will be able to carry out the task.

We did two milestone, first synching the background data (customers), then the quotes and invoices that were key to us.
