Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Sentient Capital Group. We have a number of different business units — five companies in the financial sector and one in the B2B and B2C medical manufacturing sector.

What challenge were you trying to address with Qode Media?

I relied on them for web development and digital marketing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We completely outsourced our internal marketing department to them. They’ve taken on media integration, web and e-commerce development, blog content generation, SEO initiatives, and PPC efforts. They’ve also handled much of our branding and digital media.

What is the team composition?

We work with Dan, Frank, and a couple of designers. Sharon is our lead designer, and the team size fluctuates depending on what’s needed for the project. I don’t want to worry about a single point of contact, so I have access to whatever resources I need, whenever.

How did you come to work with Qode Media?

I’ve known Dan and Frank for a long time, since we used to be neighbors. Our offices were down the hall from each other.

How much have you invested with them?

We’re scheduled to invest between $50,000 and $100,000 on the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement began in June 2020 and is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

While branding exercises typically take anywhere from 2­–4 weeks, it took Qode Media less than 17 hours to give us a result that knocked it out of the park. They’ve continued to outperform expectations and deliver above and beyond our requirements. They always produce deliverables in a timely fashion.

I’ve worked with agencies in the past, and they tend to over-promise and under-deliver. These guys have been the opposite of that.

How did Qode Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform exceptionally on this front, along with others. Their communication is exemplary, so I’ve never experienced a bottleneck with them. There’s never a problem reaching them, and they update me regularly. They consolidate their questions and their requirements from me so they basically feed it to me once, as opposed to them piecemealing it to me.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I don’t have to worry at all that my business will be taken care of. I don’t have any anxieties about the efficacy of their methods. They keep me on track and make recommendations according to best practices, and I’ve learned never to second-guess that.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, no, I don’t believe so.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Listen to them, and let them do their thing. Let them show you what they can do because they’re different from other agencies.

We wanted to create a separate website for each of our 12 brands. We needed a company that could get the project done relatively independently

Separate websites for each our brand and specialty areas that would be marketed to larger customers that would not buy a on generic website

We did research and selected 5 finalists. We selected Quote media based on the result of one test website

We worked mostly with a project manger at Qode Media that would get the requirements from our Marketing Manager and build the sites one after the other

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

12 sites that we build , each with an SEO and a social media strategy. We are able to acquire new larger customers as per our goal.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We worked closely with the Senior Project Manager. We have a weekly meeting with our Marketing manager and used Jira to follow up on objectives.

Qode provides services in a wide range of areas from website building , SEO optimisation, Google ads , and creation of content for websites, blogs and social media

Are there any areas for improvement?

Our project was quite large and complex, Qode could have better scoped the project before we started

After the first year, after a spend of about 6k, we closed deals as a result of SEO in the range of about 100k.

Very effective, strong communication.

Super fast communication and super flexible, they get done what needs to get done, when it needs to get done.
