I’m the founder and CEO of a FinTech company. We’re creating an investment platform that connects with payment facilities.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with QloudSoft?

We needed a development partner to help build a SaaS platform that processes banking transactions.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

QloudSoft helped with various elements of the front- and backend development processes of our mobile application. We relied on them build Android and iOS versions using React.

Our users receive a debit card that is tied to their investment funds as opposed to a checking account. They can transact in and out of their portfolio directly. The app also features other features like switching money between different investment options in real-time and setting transfers by a wire transfer straight out of a user’s investment portfolio.

QloudSoft provides ongoing support, and they’re also helping us add product features.

What is the team composition?

There were up to five people at one point. Anton (Managing Director, QloudSoft) ran the project with help from a couple of front- and backend developers and a QA resource.

How did you come to work with QloudSoft?

My CTO had known one of Anton’s previous clients. We became familiar with his past work and felt he and QloudSoft would be the best value. Anton was also available to begin working with us quite quickly, which was important to us.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement began in January 2019 and remains ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The product is in a sandbox testing phase at the moment. We don’t have our investment part of the business up and running yet, but we are very happy with QloudSoft’s work.

How did QloudSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything runs through Anton. We can meet and speak with him, but some of his team members are remote. He’s pretty responsive but could be a bit more formal. We communicated via email, phone calls, and Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Overall, we’re pretty happy with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you know what your scope is upfront so you can communicate it to them.

I am the president of The Kings School Fathers’ Association. We are a parent organization in place to support the school.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with QloudSoft?

We host a festival that attracts about 20,000 people every year. There are several aspects, including a car rally, an arts section, market stalls, jewelry sales, and children’s rides. So, we wanted to create an app that visitors could utilize while attending the festival and simplify our managerial processes.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

QloudSoft developed an app compatible with iOS and Android that incorporated our organization’s images and designs. We rolled it out last year, and visitors were able to view a festival map and make purchases on the app.

It was also useful while planning the event because QloudSoft developed a new process for stall and artist registration. Now artists can use the platform to submit photos of their artwork and we can determine if their work is suitable for the festival. The app also has a "Terms & Conditions" page and a portal that allows vendors to be paid directly from their sales.

We recently updated the app so everything is accurate for this year’s festival coming up in a few weeks.  Additionally, we rolled-out another app that allows volunteers to validate tickets.  

What is the team composition?

I’m not sure how many people worked on our project, but I worked directly with Anton (Managing Director, QloudSoft).

How did you come to work with QloudSoft?

They volunteered to develop a website for us in the past, so we were confident in their abilities. We’ve also maintained a great relationship with them, so it was easy to discuss the project and ask them for a quote.  

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2016 and continue to work together. We probably won’t need another app or website any time soon, but they will continue to update the platform every year.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Everyone loved the app because it was so easy to use. We’re approaching this year’s festival, and we’re excited to use the app again. We expect more people to use the app this year because we’ve been better about promoting it on social media.

How did QloudSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve delivered everything we’ve asked for on time and within our budget. We have a great relationship and they’re very easy to work with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Anton and his team are very practical and recognize the business aspect of the project. By understanding our needs, they were able to support the project and create solutions with the app.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not from any of the interactions we’ve had.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

As I like to say, proper planning prevents poor performance. If you can develop the scope of the project and can communicate it clearly, the engagement will be much easier.
