They were working alongside the client’s team following the weekly sprints, providing them with weekly updates of the software, and were in constant communication with us by providing better approaches to develop new functions - to be honest, we were excited by the developer proficiency in mobile development and the quality of the solutions they provided.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Dangl IT. We’re a small German privately-held corporation founded in 2017. We work across the EU and other European states, from west to east. Our company helps customers in the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors with software projects. We provide SaaS package for developers. Our team also does custom development ranging, from building model visualization to cost tendering and procurement. It sounds pretty boring, but it’s actually not.
What challenge were you trying to address with QIT Software?
The company was growing quite well, but I only had one employee. I was looking for more development capacity.
What was the scope of their involvement?
QIT Software supports our company with frontend software development across multiple projects. We initially discuss the scope and technologies that we’ll use, and what the software should be once it’s ready. Then, we try to define milestones and units of work, and we get into more detail from there. Our teams set up code repositories and start the development.
For a larger project, we started with a high-level concept of an app, in a 30-page PDF document. Together, we expanded that with some mock-ups of the main screens. We have our own technical documentation platforms, which cover all the prebuilt components we have.
What is the team composition?
We started working with Yegor (Founder) and currently have three developers.
How did you come to work with QIT Software?
We had a project with quite a high workload and needed more development capacity. I saw a few posts from QIT Software’s CEO on LinkedIn, which really showed his technical process. After we got to know each other for a few months, I asked him if he was free to work, and he accepted.
How much have you invested with them?
The cost so far is around $30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The initial project with QIT Software started in August 2020 and is still ongoing. We’ve worked on some smaller-scope projects since then. The latest one started in March 2021 and is scheduled for a full year.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve managed to close 311 tickets since we started the project together. From my standpoint, I’m pretty happy with QIT Software. Yegor and his employees are really good at what they do, they know their technologies, and they’re pretty fast.
How did QIT Software perform from a project management standpoint?
There are no issues with the project management — I’m very happy with their work. We try to have weekly meetings to discuss what was done in the previous week, and what we plan for the next. Our teams use Kanban boards, but we don’t have a pure Kanban approach. We use GitHub for task and issue management. Additionally, we communicate through Microsoft Teams, email, and Skype for regular video calls.
We use an agile approach that works really well. They give estimates of their work, and I always know what they’re doing. If prioritization is required, they can handle it. They have enough employees to accommodate us when we need someone on short notice.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of QIT Software’s work is impressive. They write maintainable and well-documented code, and they are quick to understand what the software is about. Apart from that, they are good at discussing architectural items.
Another great point about Yegor is that he really loves his employees. Working with outsourcing companies is a hit or miss. Some companies just throw people at us; however, Yegor conducts really good technical interviews. The people from QIT Software that we work with are really good.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I like working with QIT Software — I’m really happy with them so far.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
It’s ideal to have a good structure from the beginning. Before we started the project, we had 1–2 meetings to discuss the concept and get input from QIT Software. Someone looking to work with them should maybe run a short two-week contract to get to know them.

I was working as the senior designer for a Real Estate studio in Texas, and they needed to build a platform where they could showcase the premises using VR technology to create interactive experiences for clients - onboard potential clients and investors by offering them 360-degree tours.

We hired QIT Software to find us a software engineer to work on the VR project, that includes the creation of the app, which would allow clients to “visit” different sights without leaving the studio office, as well as change the materials, add and remove objects in these premises, and adjust the space according to their preferences.

I used to know QIT Software from before, through my network, knowing they can find IT specialists for various domains and technologies. So, I decided, they can help us out.

The client was very satisfied with the result and the solution that was built to render and transform the 3D interior designs I create. Our team successfully achieved the project objectives by creating a highly robust, secure, and feature-rich web application that streamlines hospitality tours, enhances the overall customer experience, and is easily accessible.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The project manager and the client himself were coordinating the project, using sprints and a task management system. Also, we had regular Google meets calls.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We really appreciated the expertise and speed of the developer. His onboarding was fast, and all the milestones were achieved on time. The communication was easy for us, as he spoke fluent English.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not anything to think about.
