I’m the CEO of All Souls Streetwear Clothing, a brand that has a lot to do with art, modeling, and a little bit of music. We sell different t-shirt designs online.

PX Media helped me create a website as a way of reaching more people outside of social media.

What was the scope of their involvement?
To start, I provided pictures that we could use on the website. PX Media helped curate and retouch them to make sure that the entirety of the site appeared professional. They also worked with me on the wording of the descriptions that would accompany the published images. PX Media created the policies and conditions and provides ongoing web hosting as well. Apart from that, they created my logo, banners, and stickers, which I could use on the website and during events.

Doug (CEO & Director of Design) had a team behind him, but I only interfaced with him during development.

I talked to a lot of web developers and eventually came across Doug, who was nice enough to work with me on the budget that I had. He understood where I was coming from, so I decided to work with him.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around January–February 2021. The project was finished last June 2021, but I still go to Doug for any of my graphic design needs.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’ve received a lot of compliments about the website. Doug was very helpful in helping me expand the content in it by suggesting that we create a gallery and feature some of the makeup artists I’ve worked with. Those were definitely great advice, especially since I didn’t have a lot to put on the website initially. 
How did PX Media LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
Doug was very professional and super nice to me. He understood what I was trying to accomplish and really collaborated with me to make it happen. He was never impatient with me, and he did everything to push and encourage me to get this website up and running. 
We typically communicated over the phone and by email. 
What did you find most impressive about them?
Throughout the project, I felt secured that I was getting good advice from somebody who genuinely wanted to help me and not from someone who was just out for my money. Doug was always trying to guide me and broke everything down in detail, which I really appreciated. 
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they pretty much addressed all of my needs.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be honest and let them know everything that you want upfront. Provide as much detail, content, and context as possible with what you want to create because that’s really helpful to any developer or graphic designer.

Our previous website was quite outdated, so we needed someone to help us with web development and SEO.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The engagement started with a discussion about my business and project requirements. They then built the website from scratch using WordPress with JavaScript integration.

After that, they proceeded with designing the layout and interface while I provided them with pictures they can incorporate. With regards to the SEO aspect of the project, they researched our top competitors to develop our own keywords, and we’ve been analyzing our web activity through what they came up with.

We’ve been seeing positive results on the website since engaging with PX Media, and they always keep me updated on its progress.

The website wasn’t easy to build, but the team consistently meet our timelines, budget, and expectations despite experiencing minor delays along the way.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their ability to fulfill my requirements and customer service. They're very sincere and honest, and I never feel like I’m being taken advantage of.

I can’t think of anything off the top of my head as they’re always respectful when communicating with me.

I would highly recommend PX Media for your project, and I advise you to be honest with your needs and be upfront with what you want to achieve.

As designer and creator of our site, Douglas (CEO, PX Media LLC) developed several sign-up forms, live signature forms, and other functionalities unique to a financial services company. It was a beautiful job. They’re currently responsible for the hosting and maintenance of several sites.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They managed to overcome some of the stumbling blocks inherent to WordPress development and the functionality of its forms. Douglas had a lot of patience and got it done.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

There were workflows throughout the project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have an excellent eye for design and a solid technical sense. They understand what will look good for both desktop and mobile. Creating formats, forms, and designs for both mobile and desktop can be difficult, but he produced a gorgeous site.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Use a data or media room to upload all creative materials better. That would prevent so many emails and attachments from going back and forth.

The end product is 100% customer focused. The navigation paths and UX are all designed around the customers’ needs. The quality of the work is outstanding, and PX Media’s customer service has been great for the past 17 years. Our customers consistently compliment the ease of use and thought-out solutions that have been implemented on our sites. PX Media took the time to customize the solution to our end users’ needs and experiences.

They accommodate short deadlines and manage projects well. They usually deliver ahead of schedule and use a variety of communication tools to stay in touch. We’ve used different project management tools over the years, and they’ve always been willing to adjust to our software preferences.

They’re more of a partner than just a vendor. They’re our advisor on how to best accomplish our goals using the most up-to-date technology. I’d recommend them to anyone wanting to get measurable, quantifiable results. They’re always striving to improve and want to provide the best experience to us and our end users. I’m an associate broker and independent real estate agent at Rodeo Realty. We’re one of the leading firms in Los Angeles selling high-end luxury properties.

Because our industry constantly changes, we prefer to revamp our website every few years to ensure that we stay ahead of the trends. Initially, we needed resources to redesign and manage our site. However, we expanded the role to include SEO work to increase our visibility and rankings.

We’ve collaborated with PX Media since the late 1990s to build numerous iterations of our site. Typically, we provide them with our vision of the site, including design and functionality specs. In general, they manage everything related to the site ranging from updating our property listings, performing maintenance, and implementing SEO and promotional strategies. They suggested SEO work to improve our online presence and educated us on the whole concept.

People have praised our site for its user-friendly functions and have tried to mimic our design, which I consider a compliment. In terms of their SEO efforts and web promotion, we’ve seen significant increases in both visibility and rank. Consequently, we’ve received a larger volume of calls from potential clients.

We constantly interact with them because we have so many property updates. Although my assistants coordinate with them, I know I can email them and get an answer within the hour. They’re also mindful of our budget, striving to work cost-effectively while still meeting our goals. They’re very responsive and easy to work with.

I appreciated their strong work ethic and sense of mutual respect. They listen to critical feedback without taking anything personally. If I’m not happy with something, they’ll go back to the drawing board to make sure everything is right. They’re hard workers, and I only trust them to handle my web development and SEO campaigns.

Customers should have a basic framework of what they want and how they want things structured. Having a direct vision helps PX Media understand how to better help you.

I’m the president and co-founder of JSA International. We own a website called trikletrade.com.

What challenge were you trying to address with PX Media?

We wanted to expand our online visibility and exposure through SEO. Our website was originally written for DotNetNuke (DNN). Backend issues, poor navigation, and clunky UX made it incompatible with our goals. Our rankings on Google needed marked improvement.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired PX Media to increase traffic and exposure for our website. They helped us compile a strategic list of SEO keywords. After they consulted us on how to improve our rankings, we requested further recommendations about improving our entire website. As they redesigned our site, the team transitioned from DNN to a more compatible CMS that would help us achieve our goals. They’re currently considering new options to improve the UX. To keep our users engaged, they regularly write creative, new content.

Work began in November 2015. As part of an ongoing relationship, they continue to improve our website to increase traffic and user engagement.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This partnership has given us a great ROI. Our website has seen a 20% increase in traffic. We have over 100,000 visitors a month. These metrics show quite a difference compared to our results before working with PX Media.

How did PX Media perform from a project management standpoint?

PX Media does a wonderful job keeping tabs on things. Every question and request goes through Douglas via email or conference calls. We can notify him about any issues, and he’ll always contact the appropriate party to resolve them. They send us extensive detailed progress reports weekly to keep us up to date on the status. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is very upfront with us. As a woman-owned business, we haven’t always been treated ethically by comparable vendors. PX Media’s honesty and helpful support is a breath of fresh air. We greatly appreciate how well the president handles our business relationship. They efficiently manage and execute all the tasks we assign them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There have been some minor grammatical errors in the content they’ve created. While this wouldn’t make me consider changing our relationship, at times it has been easier to write copy in-house. Perhaps they could designate content creation to people who have a better command of the English language. They’ve already improved in this respect since we’ve worked together.
