Educational Training Video Games for Technology Company

“You can completely trust them since they have a great ability to handle projects and deliver high-impact products.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m in charge of the employee experience in the HR department of a technology company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Psicosoft?
We needed Psicosoft’s development services for two projects. One was for developing a video game for training new employees, and the other was for a competency training program.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We initially had a meeting where we talked about our needs. Psicosoft proposed a series of ideas, and we provided them with information about the things we wanted to discuss in the modules. These include our company values, training, and more. From there, they delivered a final proposal for the projects, which focused on creating video games. The two games had beta versions, and we adjusted them later on until we reached their final versions.
The first video game has been a part of our onboarding process. We want to train new employees in a unique manner. Given that, Psicosoft has created a video game where new employees can walk virtually through the city and respond to questions in line with the company’s core values. This game has a scoring system that allows employees to compete with their peers.
Meanwhile, the second video game is a part of our competency training program for employees. Psicosoft has created a virtual escape room. Users start playing in a virtual bunker with different rooms, and they have to answer various questions to save the day.
Both games are translated into Portuguese and Spanish; this way, they’re available in every country where we have a presence. Apart from developing the games, Psicosoft also provides on-site training for us every once in a while.
What is the team composition?
I work directly with two main contact points, namely their CEO and an account manager. The account manager manages the project and hands off tasks to the internal team.
How did you come to work with Psicosoft?
We worked with Psicosoft in the past in various training programs. I’d also worked with their CEO before he started his own company. As a result, we trusted and engaged them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We've implemented satisfaction surveys among users. The first video game has been used by around 4,200 users, who have rated the game an average of 4.7 out of 5. In other words, the results have been great.
Moreover, we’ve received good comments on how educational the games are and how easy it is for the new employees to learn from them. The training program has also been described as interesting and interactive.
Overall, the games have been perceived as a fun and original way to learn. Psicosoft has met all of our expectations.
How did Psicosoft perform from a project management standpoint?
Psicosoft has established clear deadlines. The first project has taken longer than the second one because it’s our first time implementing such a game. In any case, the second project has been a lot faster. We mainly communicate through Teams, emails, and phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I like their ability to adapt to the changes in our business. We’re a technology company, so we handle high demand and have to respond to changes quickly. The team at Psicosoft has been adaptable to that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
At the beginning of the project, there were times when they didn’t completely understand our ideas. However, we managed to sit together and talk about the whole project. After that, we never had any issues.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
The Psicosoft team is truly professional. You can completely trust them since they have a great ability to handle projects and deliver high-impact products.

Sales model training approach
We have been collaborating with Janssen for the last 20 years. One of our most remarkable experiences is designing the new onboarding to the field role by designing a Sales Model training approach. The challenge was to create a more impactful and interactive training experience both visually and methodologically. We decided to use our "Netflex" e-learning methodology based on the famous streaming platform and we use resources such as recorded videos simulating interviews between a doctor and a delegate, a podcast to present practical cases, a digital workbook to encourage the reflections of the participants, ... All the training resources included in the Netflex e-learning tool are used by Janssen internal trainers to train the new joiners to the field role. After the first pilot and more than 70 new sales joiners trained using this solution, we reach an average of 98% NPS.
Scope of work:
- Meetings with experienced trainers and project owners
- Co-creation of the new onboarding program
- Recording and production of videos and podcast
- Design under the “Netflex” methodology
- Train the trainers

Design and implementation for new products
One of our default collaborations with pharmaceutical companies, is design and implement all the training resources for launching new products or new usages for a different patient profile. We have been working closely with Novartis for the last 15 years in several projects like we did in the launch of Beovu. The objective of this project was to train the entire field force during a week in a gamified, attractive and impressive way. To do this, we use our remote learning solution called Escape Room that allows trainers to introduce all the contents (marketing materials, medical studies, etc...) through enigmas that the participants divided into teams must solve. In this way, the learning experience becomes more friendly thanks to rankings, storytelling being, collaboratives &individual activities, ... We achieve a high level of commitment in all our weeks of training.
Scope of work:
- Meetings with the different departments (Marketing, Medical, Regional Directors, Customer Excellence, etc.) involved in the product launch
- Design & programing “Escape room” remote learning solution
- Remote training using the escape room solution

Certified the field force for the product launch
Abbvie requested our collaboration to support them in the launch of a new product. The objective of this pharmaceutical was to certify that all the field force was prepared for the launch. Throughout 3 weeks using our "Learning Meeting Point (LMP)" solution, Abbvie professionals carried out a wide range of gamified and collaborative activities F2F, remotely, online, webinar,...
One of the aspects most valued by the professionals involved in the project was that LMP, allow all the field force to enhance the learning experience in an attractive and disruptive way.
Scope of work:

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a commercial learning lead at a biopharmaceutical company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Psicosoft?
We had several challenges, including change management and upscaling skills such as listening. We also needed consultancy services to approach a multi-product portfolio for a sales team used to manage only one product.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Psicosoft provides us with consultancy and training services. First, we share our needs through an email that contains a situation analysis. We also meet to discuss the requirements, our starting point, and the necessary documentation.
From there, Psicosoft debriefs us with a proposal with alternatives to fit our needs. We make changes and adjustments as needed, then approve the budget. Psicosoft organizes training sessions for us where they provide workshop materials. For our latest project, Psicosoft ran 4–5 workshops.
What is the team composition?
We have a direct contact point in Barcelona. The number of consultants from Psicosoft depends on the project; we might have one consultant for a 12-person workshop or 3–4 consultants for a 100-person workshop.
How did you come to work with Psicosoft?
I found Psicosoft around 17 years ago and have worked with them at several different companies since then. Initially, I was a trainee at one of the workshops they ran. I liked Psicosoft’s work, so I contacted them when I needed a provider.
How much have you invested with them?
Our latest project with Psicosoft cost €2,000 (approximately $2,100 USD) per workshop; we spent around €10,000 (approximately $11,000 USD) on that project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Psicosoft in October 2022, and the partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I continue working with Psicosoft because they adapt to our business needs. They know our business and the pharmaceutical industry really well. The team gets what we need and provides solutions that fit that perfectly.
How did Psicosoft perform from a project management standpoint?
They deliver on time and within the budget. Our communications start with an email containing our situation analysis. Then, we ask for availability to organize the set-up meeting.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m impressed with the quality of Psicosoft’s teammates. Moreover, Psicosoft is trustworthy and has a solid trajectory.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing they need to improve; they’ve evolved with the market.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Talk to Psicosoft through meetings to understand each point of view. They’re really reliable, so you can be sure everything will be alright.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I‘m the partner and owner of a training organization that builds leadership development programs, mostly for pharmaceutical companies.
What challenge were you trying to address with Psicosoft?
We wanted to expand our capabilities to a more global audience.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Psicosoft has provided us with leadership training. They’ve coordinated training programs on our behalf, created training content for us, and developed leadership programs for some of our clients across the globe. They’ve specifically helped us with clients who don’t speak English, so they haven’t only used our content but also enhanced it, translated it, and upgraded it to meet local country regulations.
Additionally, Psicosoft has provided us with great suggestions on working through some of the challenges we’ve faced. These suggestions have revolved around redesigning our content to meet other countries’ needs, adapting it to their idiosyncrasies and key terms to make the information sound more impactful.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with around 10 people from Psicosoft, including Jordi (Director), instructional designers, and facilitators.
How did you come to work with Psicosoft?
My business partner already knew Jordi and had worked with Psicosoft on past projects.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $70,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our first engagement started around November 2019 and ended in April 2020. We continuously work together on different projects on a contract basis, but we don’t have a currently active contract.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We usually take our client’s feedback, and they’ve always provided excellent comments about Psicosoft’s training programs. If we do five-star ratings, they usually get scored 4.5 or higher. Additionally, my team and I found them to be very collaborative, inspirational, and teamworking. They’re also very fair, honest, and fun to work with.
Furthermore, Psicosoft has great knowledge of European countries and their legal compliance and regulatory norms. They have deep connections within those countries, including professional facilitators who understand the marketplace. Additionally, they’ve done business with some of our clients, so they understand their internal politics and how they operate. Overall, they have a true understanding of the local needs and expectations, adapting the content to make it more meaningful and effective.
How did Psicosoft perform from a project management standpoint?
Psicosoft has always done an excellent job managing projects. They’re highly communicative, and if there is a scope increase, they walk us through it before we make a decision so that we don’t get unpleasant surprises. They’ve always set clear expectations for both sides, making us feel like we will always have a strong partnership when needed. We use Monday to manage projects and Zoom and email to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Psicosoft has a relatively large team with a diversity of skills, and they’ve been around for so long that they know the marketplaces they serve. They’re very collaborative across their teams, and everyone is always willing to help if a situation arises.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. I would only advise them to continue to support their clients with the great level of service they already provide so that they continue to be seen as valuable partners.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have clear expectations regarding your needs, objectives, requirements, and budget, and ultimately identify what success would look like for you.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an HR manager at an auditing, accounting, and financial consulting firm based in Spain. At the moment, we have about 5,000 employees.
What challenges were you trying to address with Psicosoft?
Every year, we evaluate all of our personnel 2–4 times to offer promotions based on that. Since the number of employees is too high, we hadn’t found a commercial tool that we could afford that would allow us to evaluate such a high number of people.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Psicosoft offers a tool that takes information out of our transformational leadership and evaluation models to implement online evaluations to all our employees quickly.
We initially provided them with information regarding our leadership and evaluation models. Then, they proposed an evaluation tool that would allow us to measure the abilities and factors we were interested in. We’ve also hired some additional tools based on gaming and VR that enable our employees to develop new skills. Some of these games are their own developments; others are pre-designed solutions.
What was the team composition?
We work directly with a commercial manager. We requested it because it makes our work a lot easier.
How did you come to work with Psicosoft?
They were a referral. I’ve been working in HR for a long time, so I know people in the HR department in numerous companies. I reached out asking for suggestions, and their name came up. I contacted them, and they invited me to participate in a workshop on skill development through video games. After that, I felt like they were a great choice for us.
How much have you invested in them?
We’ve spent about €80,000 (approximately $82,000 USD) on consulting and about €72,000 (approximately $73,000 USD) for the gaming tools
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in September 2017, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Whenever we have a program with an external provider, we ask our employees to respond to a questionnaire and measure how pleased they are and how effective they’ve found it. In general, we’ve had very positive evaluations so far.
How did Psicosoft perform from a project management standpoint?
They meet with all the deliverables timely. We communicate mostly via email and periodical meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their strength is their ability to adapt to their client’s needs.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they’re always very close. Whenever we identify something that isn’t working, we can talk about it and solve it right away.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be very transparent and honest about your needs with any software provider.
The video games have been well-received by its 4,200 end users, garnering an average rating of 4.7 out of 5. Psicosoft has met expectations and delivered a fun and engaging solution for the firm’s training needs. The team has been highly professional and adaptable to the changes they encounter.
