A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the product owner of our app at Cubitts. We make and sell eyeglasses and sunglasses.
What challenge were you trying to address with Prosperity?
We engaged Prosperity to develop our app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The app is a tool to help people understand how to get the perfect fitting eyeglasses without coming into the store. The app scans a person’s face and from that, the algorithms help us understand the dimensions of someone's head and various other features. Prosperity was integral to the project in helping us with the development in iOS and some of the algorithms around how the scan recognizes parts of the eyes. They also conducted some design work. All of this work was completely from scratch. The main languages used were Swift and Objective-C.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Illia (CEO & Founder), two senior iOS developers, and a project manager.
How did you come to work with Prosperity?
We were looking for a development partner to take us to the next level with the app and we found them through recommendations. We chose them because of their energy and depth of knowledge in the field, as well as their willingness to go above and beyond. Illia and the rest of the team cared very much about doing an amazing job and that stood out to us.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from September 2019–February 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Prosperity had the ability to work really quickly, especially under the pressure of working with an early-stage startup where things can be a bit less certain. They really help guide us in understanding the requirements behind some of the work that we’re doing for them.
How did Prosperity perform from a project management standpoint?
The response time was always quick which is really important when working on a fast-paced project. Even with a complex task, they were able to break it down so that a team like us can understand the technical aspects. We used a sprint framework that they plug into. We set up the tasks and they clearly came back with how they would approach them so we could put that into the framework. From there, there was a very clear communication structure around how to achieve those goals and the original task. We communicated primarily through Slack and Jira.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I think what sets them apart is the range of skills they bring to a project, as well as their level of knowledge.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there are no areas for improvement.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of SuisseCo GmbH, a consulting services company for mainly the financial industry like banks and insurance companies. We’re also active in some industrial companies. We’re offering IT services around data management or data integration as well as in the area of mobile development.
What challenge were you trying to address with Prosperity?
One of our clients was looking for really good mobile app developers. We had already developed a backend system for them, and they wanted to implement a mobile version.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Prosperity developed the iOS and Android app. The client gave the framework and set the timeline and the budget. Prosperity suggests the best plan to implement features and comes up with new ideas for them. They’re always very open.
What is the team composition?
We’re working with three mobile app developers. I interact with Illia (CEO/Founder) who is really professional.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $150,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in December 2018, and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our client only wants highly skilled professionals. If they extend the contract after an initial three months, it’s always a good sign. We’ve been working together now for more than two years and the contract has been extended for another year.
I get very positive feedback from the client. Before Prosperity starts, they make a good plan. They really know what they’re talking about.
How did Prosperity perform from a project management standpoint?
The communication is amazing: they’re really open and transparent. They communicate if there are any issues and explain the issues the client might run into.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I highly recommend them. Prosperity is always happy to share their knowledge.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re really trustworthy. If someone is looking for a reference, they can always contact me.

Founder & CEO of Loops Rewards, Location-based loyalty platform.
For what projects/services did your company hire Prosperity?
To build the mobile apps IOS & Android plus the merchant back-office for our loyalty platform.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to road test the product-market fit and see if we could create growth from focusing on consumers rather than business needs.
How did you select this vendor?
We selected this vendor after careful consideration and interviewing 5 different companies. Illia was a solid communicator, with clear concise and honest communications whether good or bad. This honesty was a breath of fresh air and the grown-up partner we needed.
Describe the project in detail.
We provided a functional scope together with designs and UX, the team provided lots of useful feedback and suggestions to improve the interface and ideas around best practice for building the solution and working around problems and lots of ways to optimize spending.
What was the team composition?
CTO, IOS and android developers, backend and web developer, QA test engineer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The build quality was very good overall and bugs were fixed quickly. The work delivered met my expectations and a number of scope changes were well managed. I had positive feedback from users that the app was well built.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Work-flow was super effective even when my delivery of requirements was weak they worked around vague items and delivered good quality across the product.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They were honest, direct easy to communicate, had great quality and excellent value.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We were happy with everything.

iOS App Dev for Landlord Inspection Tool
"When I ask Prosperity to do something that doesn’t make sense, they suggest alternatives that work better."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of Mint Inspect, a landlord iOS inspection app.
What challenge were you trying to address with Prosperity?
We needed help with iOS app development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Prosperity developed our iOS app in Swift. The app collects a property’s data, in terms of photographs, written notes, etc. That data gets submitted to AWS where we can then access the data from our website — built by Prosperity in Django and Python. We can edit or delete the data and add some notes. After that, we prepare a photographic inspection report with a feature that allows us to create PDF documents.
What is the team composition?
I mainly work with Illia (CEO & Founder). A few other guys also are working on the project.
How did you come to work with Prosperity?
We initially hired a couple of developers to develop a simple app, and Prosperity was one of them. We liked their source code and the way they communicated, and we were very impressed with their quality of work.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2017. The app launched in 2019, but the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have 400–500 downloads. We set up the payment structure last October and from October until now, we’ve had 40 paid reports. The growth is still very slow, but the app itself doesn’t have a lot of bugs, which surprised me. There were a few at the start, but the app is working very smoothly. I’m very satisfied with the work that has been delivered.
I also hired a local developer to go over the code that Prosperity built and get feedback. The main aim was to find out if I could give this project to someone locally and they’d be able to continue working on it based on what’s been built. The local developer said that the code was perfect and they would be able to take on the work right away.
How did Prosperity perform from a project management standpoint?
Most of the project management was done via Upwork, and then we started using Asana. It’s gone very smoothly. Prosperity has a good work ethic.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their communication skills are very good. When I ask Prosperity to do something that doesn’t make sense, they suggest alternatives that work better. They don’t just blindly take what I ask them to do. That’s been very valuable and appreciated.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing I’d have them improve. I thought I was going to have more problems and bugs, but it’s gone really smoothly.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I give Prosperity very clear video instructions and drawings of what I wanted. A lot of times, I create a mockup screen and explain it to them in Word along with a video file. They pick it up right away.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an insight manager at Cubitts. We’re spectacle makers, operating in a mix of retail and e-commerce.
What challenge were you trying to address with Prosperity?
We needed to develop an application that could take measurements for spectacles.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Prosperity created our mobile application using iOS technology with AI and 3D sensors. The platform is able to take optical measurements using an iPhone or iPad instead of doing it the traditional way. The app also does image analysis, locating all the points on the eye.
They worked with our internal design team to create the design of the app. It was an iterative collaboration effort as our team presented rough wireframes and they implemented them. Their team also worked with me on QA, making sure the specs were exactly right on the optical end of things.
What is the team composition?
Iliad (Founder) was the main point of contact. There may have been others involved, but I didn’t interact with them.
How did you come to work with Prosperity?
We found them via Upwork. Iliad responded to our post. We decided they were the best fit due to their good reviews and experience with iOS applications.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested between $2,000–$3,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on the project from June–August 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We were very happy with the finished product and immediately deployed it into our retail stores. Our team enjoys using the platform because taking measurements is much faster now and isn’t bound by subjective measures or mistakes from doing it manually. What’s more, our customers have given feedback that they like how quick the process is. We plan to work with Prosperity again to release a 2.0 version.
How did Prosperity perform from a project management standpoint?
Iliad is very responsive and accommodating. We communicated daily through WhatsApp and SMS. A couple of months ago, long after our contract ended, one of our developers mistakenly caused a malfunction in the app. We reached out to Prosperity, and they delivered the source code to us within a day or two.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I like the personal touch they have. That’s the main point of differentiation between them and other companies I’ve worked with — that personal approach. The project was an enjoyable and positive experience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there are no areas for improvement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Expect to be heavily involved with Prosperity and expect them to quickly reply to your questions. Our project was heavily reliant on the involvement of their team and ours, it required a specific set of skills.
Prosperity did an exceptional job and the client is satisfied with their work. The team had a quick response time and communicated clearly, helping the client understand tricky technical aspects. They were able to work quickly under the pressure of an early-stage startup.
