I'm the administrative assistant to the athletic director at a university. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Prolifik Video?

We were looking for a company to produce videos for our circle of honor inductees who were to be accepted into our Hall of Fame. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created five videos for us. After we gave them an idea of what we wanted, they interviewed the inductees and reviewed past footage of them competing in sports. They also interviewed family members and people that were close to them to collect the stories and footage of them reminiscing about the time they spent in college. Then, they created memorable videos that we could play right before the recipients accepted an award.

In addition, they helped us to plan the event, which is not something they usually do, but they did that for us.

What is the team composition?

There were about 8–10 people working on our project, including videographers, editors, and project managers.

How did you come to work with them?

Our company already had a relationship with them when I came on board. Their owner used to be an athlete and they did a particularly good job helping us with the past event, so we didn't hesitate to choose them for the new project.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $32,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2017 and the project was completed in February 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The quality was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more creativity or better filming. 

How did they perform from a project management standpoint? 

They were very responsive and I could always ask them for additional help. I was able to call them on their cell phones when I needed to reach them. If we had touched base sooner after receiving the videos, we would have ironed everything out and completed the project even quicker. But that wasn't an issue – last minute polishing and getting things ready is always part of event planning.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciated their creativity and their ability to think outside the box. They did an extraordinary job bringing our ideas to life. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything other than giving us the videos even sooner.

I am the marketing director for Keba Sandwiches. We have 5 restaurant locations, with our original location being in Athens, Georgia.

What challenge were you trying to address with Prolifik?

At that time, we needed help with social media and our online reputation. We were trying to generate sales leads while educating the community about what we are and what we offer.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Social media has been the focus of our work together. For example, Prolifik helped us with video production for social media campaigns. Aside from managing our social media, they also do search engine optimization. They make sure that all of our addresses and contact information are correct on Yelp, Google — anything on the Internet. They check the online contact information for all of our locations. Prolifik helps inform the community about our locations and if we have specials or anything that brings in customers.

How did you come to work with Prolifik?

They are also in Athens, which is a small community, and Prolifik was recommended. We interviewed some other companies prior to Prolifik, but we just didn’t have that connection.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have been working together since January 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We have experienced an increase in sales, and the campaign received good feedback. As a restaurant, one of our specialty items is hand-cut, Belgian French fries with 12 different dipping sauces. During March Madness, we had the customers vote for their favorite sauces, taking it down from 8 to 4 to 2. It was fun and resonated with our client base. We’re in Athens, where the University of Georgia is, and so we have a lot of students. That campaign did well for us, and everyone enjoyed that a lot.

How did Prolifik perform from a project management standpoint?

I have a point of contact that I email or call. They’re easy to communicate with and are highly responsive to email and phone calls. When we do the video shoots, I’m usually there with them. They really have been a pleasure to work with.

What did you find most impressive about Prolifik?

We have a good relationship with the owner of Prolifik and with our rep. We clicked well from the beginning. They are absolutely wonderful, and we’ve enjoyed working with them.

Are there any areas Prolifik could improve?

I can’t think of anything we’ve been unhappy with.
