We had something unwanted on Google and wanted to find a reliable and reputable firm to remove and delete. We found that profile defenders had the experience and history for removing false and damaging content that our legal team was unable to delete. We hired the profile defenders team with a down payment and a guaranteed bonus if they were able to get the unwanted listing removed from the internet.

We did our research and spoke with a lot of different companies that do digital marketing, seo, online reputation management, and related services. The agent we spoke to had the knowledge and explanation on how they could go about doing the job.

It's a personal piece for the company and we are not allowed to share the personal removal details we hired them for but the end result was removing content on a well known newspaper that was false and the editor was refusing to remove.

What was the team composition?

We dealt with Cam and was our point of contact for the campaign. It took a quarter to receive the desired results after we worked on it for years prior.

The removal of the content online was the KPI and it was achieved.

We had reports and updates and emailed when we had additional questions.

Price was a bit high so that could come down.

There were negative things about one of our clients that we needed to have deleted and removed from the internet. Our client was unable to get it deleted and we hired Profile Defenders for the deletion and removal of this negative content piece. It took them 2 days for the removal.

To get the google and yandex results completely removed and deleted.

When we spoke to them they were confident in their ability to completely delete and remove the complaint for our client since we were unable to get it down.

There is a complaint website that had listed our client in a bad light and it was completely false. To save face the attacker posted false information and wanted to hurt business. It was not really fair and there was no way to fix this unless you had a relationship with the owner of the website which profile defenders claimed to have. After engaging with them and signing the contract and paying they got the result deleted.

I dealt with James and he was my point of contact.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Project entailed taking a search result that was bad and getting it deleted. The result was deleted and has not resurfaced.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Was a one on one relationship with James. I have not had extensive workflow it was documented what we wanted removed and that was the extent of the workflow.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

That they were actually able to delete this negative complaint when we werent able to do so.

The price could be lower given the short amount of time it took for the removal.

We hired them to help with our search engine autocomplete results. The term "Lawsuit" was appearing in our autocomplete results, causing people to think we’d recently been sued.

We wanted to replace our autocomplete results with something more positive. It would make people more likely to click on our services and lead to more sales for our team.

We ran a search of different vendors but found very few people that were capable and even fewer with a high rate of success—we found only two companies that had a high rate of success. We contacted both and Profile Defenders gave us a reasonable quote, so our executive officers decided to go with them.

They researched keywords that could replace the negative ones in our search results, then programmed these into their program. This allowed these terms to be searched more, ensuring they become the autocomplete words.

I don’t know exactly how many people they had working on our project, but it must have been a substantial number.

The outcome that proves this project was a success was the autocomplete search terms. They changed to the exact words they said they would, and the term "Lawsuit" was removed from our autocomplete results entirely.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We didn’t hear from them constantly, but they did send us monthly reports on what was happening. If we had questions, we could email them too.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was most impressed with the results of the project. Very few companies offer this service, but Profile Defenders were upfront with us and delivered exactly what they said they would.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I would love to have a better understanding of how this process worked so that in the future we might be able to do it ourselves.

At the moment, due to the work of the vendor, our first two pages of search are all positive articles about our company. This helps to bring a positive feeling to our brand and bring in more customers.

The workflow between us and them was well done. Our project manager send us reports at the end of every month and our salesman periodically reached out to us to check how we were doing and if there were any other pain points that we were experiencing.

I was most impressed with the communication between our company and theirs. There were always there and responded very quickly to our emails. They also delivered exactly the results that they promised to deliver.

The work that they do takes time. It is a long process that means negatives will be around for some time. But they do deliver results.

We had direct contact with a project manager and our salesman. If it was ever needed we could also get ahold of upper management. In all of these cases they were professional and informative.

The biggest example of the work being successful was our online ratings. We started out at a 2.7 star rating. By the time they were done we had raised our rating to 4.5.

We normally communicated by email with their company. If needed we also had phone numbers to different members of their team. They were very responsive and would reply within a couple of hours.

I found their commitment to helping us the most impressive thing. They did everything in their power to provide the results they promised to us. They went above and beyond for us.

A set pricing model might help the beginning process be less confusing.

The vendor is in charge of monitoring our online presence and addressing any negative comments or reviews made about us. There was a team who watch our search results around the clock and if anything came up they would address it right away. I was in charge with communicating with their team and giving them our marketing release schedule.

The only members of their team that I had contact with was the team that kept an eye on our search results. I also know that they had other teams such as writers that created content for us when needed.

So far the results have been encouraging. There have been various negatives that have been written about us and for each negative Profile Defenders has released something to combat it. It has helped improve our image online and increased our public relation.

We had good communication between our team and theirs. They sent us reports about what they were doing and they kept us updated on problematic articles. We usually communicated through email.

I find the promptness in which they addressed negative articles very impressive. They jumped on problems very quickly and prevented more damage.
