Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

High-level requirements are specified by MS Italy and were provided by Simone. As an additional step, a discussion to clarify the requirements was conducted. We created the following proposal based on the shared screens list, access to the printer simulator, and conducted tech session. The primary objective of Version 1 is to develop UX/UI design and implement it for a Printer from JP model group. Version 1 requires compatibility with Windows 7 and Windows 10 IoT operational systems and should be architected in a way that allows it to be moved to other platforms, such as Linux, IOS and Android. This version focuses on implementing features based on the provided printer simulator, with an emphasis that the back-end from the MS Italy side covers all the required actions to unblock front-end development. Specifically, MS Italy team will expose REST APIs.

In summary, Version 1 aims to create UX/UI design and develop it for a Printer from JP printers model group. This version creates the foundation for subsequent Versions to build upon, ensuring a gradual and effective development process while meeting the project's initial requirements.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We propose the following software development process highlights (*frequency and level of detail to
be determined later and adjusted to the needs as the project progresses):
1. Proffiz recommends using Scrum methodology and Atlassian Suite for application lifecycle
management.
2. Initially, based on the WBS we define a Product Backlog (a list of product requirements in order of
priority), which is the responsibility of the DM and QA (appointed on the Proffiz side) and Product Owner.
3. We propose to have bi-weekly status update meetings.
4. With the Product Backlog list, teams will hold a Sprint Planning Meeting to define the sprint goal.
We propose to use the Scrum process with 2-week iterations for application development.
5. When the Sprint is completed, we conduct a Demo Meeting. The Project Team will demonstrate
the completed user stories and receive feedback from project stakeholders.

6. When the project is done, Proffiz presents a ready Version 1 functionality. If there are no
comments (new tasks) based on this final Demo meeting as the next step, Proffiz prepares a delivery
package with the source code and other required artifacts.

Amazing people that we hired through Proffizz that fit super well in the team. Even though they are in a different timezone we haven't felt any difficulty. They are an integral part of our Montreal team and work very well with everyone.

Everything is very efficient, and we work very well with them, using zoom and other video conferencing and chat software. The Profizz team members are an integral part of our Montreal team.

Good people, super professional and very skilled. Hard to find this type of talent here in Monreal.

Develop 6 out of total 12 modules that create Web application which provides various services for Croatian citizens.

We were looking for team extension and considering companies from eastern Europe.

We developed 6 modules and combined them with other 6 modules developed by other company. Each module was presenting one service (ex. service where citizen can make request to change his personal name, creating request for humanitarian aid...) Citizens/users could then use those services. Idea was to digitize countries administration.

5 developers, 1 business analyst and 1 project manager. 1 developer, tech lead, was from Proffitz.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We learned new technologies, gained experience and some of our junior developers got opportunity to gain new skills. we also got experience in remote development and English communication due to 1 foreign team member.

we had daily meetings over Skype, once in 2 weeks technical meeting with other team. Tasks were assigned on Git Lab. We used slack for communication.

I’m the owner of a marketplace startup that lets people order and design stickers online. We print and send these orders upon purchase.

I needed to outsource software development for this endeavor because I didn’t have the time to do so myself.

What was the scope of their involvement?

As I managed Proffiz, I told them about my vision and which database to use. The team used AngularJS, HTML5, Java, and MySQL to create an exclusively web-based application. I did all the QA work and testing to make sure the quality met my expectations.

I found out about Proffiz through our mutual contacts. Since I’m originally from Ukraine, I’m very familiar with the country’s IT industry. I knew I wouldn’t have any communication issues if I chose a team from this market.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Proffiz did a great job, and we didn’t have any communication issues. After we completed the project, I started receiving orders that are bringing in revenue. My clients are happy with the interesting, unique product Proffiz built.

How did Proffiz perform from a project management standpoint?

We managed all the work through a daily standup.  The project progressed smoothly in its entirety.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Since we were speaking in Ukrainian, there wasn’t a language barrier to overcome. To fit my budget, I hired intermediate rather than senior developers. They were skilled at their work and satisfied my expectations from a seniority and price perspective.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend Proffiz for startups because they’re the right size of a company. They offer the same quality as some other major outsourcing companies at lower rates.

I’m the director of the professional services and strategic account department for a product development company. We create enterprise-level software for integrating enterprise-level systems like CRM, ERP, and/or MRP solutions with Microsoft Outlook and IBM Lotus Notes. We’re a small company with 100 employees, so when we have requests that require rapid growth on the development side, we don’t have the local bench to get the developers. We needed to outsource for help with specific projects.

They helped us develop a web app that integrates the Microsoft Dynamics CRM with the Office 365 backend. It’s standard, full-stack, web-based development using REST, JavaScript, TypeScript, and a little C#.

I managed the team and its size varied. At the peak of the work, we had up to 20 developers involved, which was a balanced mix of our own resources, contracted providers, as well as two to four engineers from Proffiz depending on the need.

There were no issues regarding communication. We used a ticket-tracking software as well as Skype and Skype for Business for internal communication. I’m pleased with their availability and reliability.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our issues with previous companies were that their resources weren’t available any longer and I wasn’t properly notified when they were on sick leave or vacation. The main thing I like about Proffiz is that I know things in advance and their developers are consistent. They’re not trying to jump off after a number of months, rather they’ve been working there for more than a year, which really helps.

There's nothing I can think of. Everything is going really well.
