Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m one of the owners of a cafe located in Asheville, North Carolina. We have a library of about 600–650 board games, and folks come in to play games and order food. It’s historically been an entertainment-driven restaurant concept.
Over the last several months, our service has needed to adapt drastically due to the pandemic. At this point, customers can pre-order food and drinks as well as reserve a board game of choice. They take the game home for a week to rent bring it back later in time.
What challenge were you trying to address with Proecho Solutions?
They’ve adapted their services as our needs have changed over time. We’re working on content and marketing projects together.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve supported content creation efforts across social media and through a monthly newsletter for our loyal customer base. That’s also driven content and blogs that have allowed us to operate as an influencer in the board game space.
We’ve taken on additional projects such as collaborating with local media publications and addressing web properties and maintenance. To adapt our services during the pandemic, we needed to redesign our website, transitioning it from an informational platform to more of an e-commerce and marketing platform. They helped us set up a third-party integration to drive conversions through our customer funnel.
What is the team composition?
We work directly with Sal (Owner), but he has support in videography, web development, photography, and asset creation. He coordinates that team around our work depending on our needs.
How did you come to work with Proecho Solutions?
My business partner met Sal at a boutique hotel launch that he handled marketing for. That started the relationship. We spoke to him about our needs, and it seemed like he’d be able to meet them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since the spring of 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We track metrics surrounding audience growth and traffic. We’re seeing steady and consistent growth across our social channels, despite the seasonality and tourism that often drives our business. They help us set quarterly and bi-annual targets for audience growth and plans on keeping customers within our ecosystem engaged once they connect with us.
They’ve grown our Instagram following by about 3,000 followers, allowing us to grow steadily over time.
How did Proecho Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re easy to work with, and they take accountability for their work. We also appreciate their flexibility, boasting a high level of adaptive capacity and responsiveness. He can really get things done. We have a standing bi-weekly meeting and may elect to meet more frequently depending on our needs. Our teams are about to work together in real-time on a daily basis through Google Drive’s offerings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They offer a ton of value through strategy and diversity of service offerings. It’s great to find a multitude of services all in one place that is relatively affordable and seamless. They’re able to address a broad spectrum of our needs. They leverage third-party tools to automate tasks and ensure that all aspects of the projects are being attended to.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re a small agency that will continue to grow and improve as they add more capabilities and skills. I think they’ll have plenty of opportunities to keep growing as they expand their services in upcoming years.

Start the engagement with transparent communication of goals. That will help them be more effective in helping you achieve them.

I’m the VP of sales and marketing for a national exterior facility management company. We offer services like commercial landscaping, parking lot maintenance, and snow & ice removal for commercial accounts, nationwide. We subcontract 100% of the work, so we have a network of vetted partners that we use throughout the country to execute our services.
What challenge were you trying to address with Proecho Solutions?
We initially hired Proecho Solutions to develop a new website for us. They then supported our marketing efforts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Proecho Solutions developed our website. They also oversaw our digital marketing by way of content generation and social media management. For instance, they’ve spearheaded our LinkedIn advertising, and we had our first blog newsletter launch last month. They’re now helping us with some branding campaigns.

I’ve worked directly with Sal (Owner).

Sal used to work with my wife at another job. Although they’re no longer colleagues, I knew Sal was in web development. He was at the top of my mind when we were looking for a new website, so I reached out to him.

What is the status of this engagement?
The project began in April of 2020 and is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Working with Sal has been very smooth. They’ve been professional and efficient, and they’ve made sure that we stay on track in terms of timelines. They keep us accountable by ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.
I also appreciate the breadth of knowledge they offer in regards to what does and doesn’t work. I feel comfortable with the decisions we’ve made based on their recommendations.
How did Proecho Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
They perform very well. We have a biweekly video call where we go over project progress and upcoming tasks on the timeline. Communication has been efficient, as they have a good system in place.
What did you find most impressive about them?
In my 30 years of being in the business, Sal and his team strike me as being very thorough and organized. They follow through, follow up, and do everything that they’re supposed to do.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’re too early on in the engagement to give that kind of feedback. There have been minor hiccups, but nothing worth mentioning at this point. I feel that they truly value a long-term relationship over petty details, so they’ve been a very good partner.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Sal is very good at walking you through the process, particularly by asking good questions. I recommend them for their ability to hold your hand through unfamiliar workflows.

I am the owner and manager of a company called Dry Ridge Moving & Transportation.
What challenge were you trying to address with Proecho Solutions?
They handle all of my search engine optimization.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Their efforts ran the gamut of SEO work, including targeting backlinks, posting blogs and videos to our site and social media pages, and doing keyword work and advertising on Facebook, Bing, and Google. They also did some outreach to customers through email and social media marketing as well.
What is the team composition?
I only worked with Roger (Administrative Director) and Sal (Owner). I know Roger operates more on the technical side and Sal is more of my main point of contact for our communication and managing the project.
How did you come to work with Proecho Solutions?
I reached out to a larger digital marketing firm in our area, and they were at a higher price point than I was looking for but gave me three recommendations of independent contractors and smaller firms that I could work with. Sal was one of those, and they seemed like a good fit from our initial discussions.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around May 2018 and are continuing to work together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
When I first started working with them, I was in a kind of freefall in terms of both revenue and outreach. I was down close to 15%, and within a very short period of time, they had me back to where I was at my best. Since then, they’ve increased my profitability and decreased my cost per click significantly.
On top of that, the service they provide is just highly personalized, careful, and intelligent. They operate from a place of deep expertise and really take a hands-on approach to and interest in the specifics of your company and what you’re trying to do. Their team takes to heart any questions that you have and helps to walk you through anything that you don’t understand.
How did Proecho Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is very efficient and focuses on frequent communication. They always deliver on time and on budget, and we have monthly phone calls, quarterly in-person meetings, and use email to handle the more day-to-day details of the work.
In a day and age when it can be really hard to get somebody on the phone, let alone to get them to call you back, the thing that really sets Proecho apart is their commitment to getting back to you immediately, no matter the question or issue. I’ve never once been left feeling like I’m not important to them or that they’re not taking the issues I have seriously.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve been most impressed with the lengths they go to to personalize their service. We have a very close relationship, and that has allowed me to focus on what I do best. For example, at one point I started getting a lot of calls for a mobile home furniture moving service because of a change in Google’s algorithm, and they did the painstaking work of removing the leads that were causing those calls, which I really appreciated.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I’ve been totally satisfied so far so I don’t have any particular suggestions for improvement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just give them a call and start discussing what you need from them. It will be evident pretty quickly that their level of care and consideration is far above the norm for most similar firms.
