BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

Link-able is a unique platform that smartly connects Content Marketers with elite authors who can outreach and guest author on their behalf, building quality backlinks for SEO and PR. I’m the founder and CEO.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire ProdRocket?

We weren’t fully sure how to launch the product and get early traction. Who should we target? How should we reach them? What are the main risks and opportunities to drive adoption? We hired ProdRocket to help us think through and execute a smart GTM strategy.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to ‘spark a marketplace’ between content marketers and authors - the classic ‘chicken and egg’ problem. We wanted to achieve enough adoption on both sides to build momentum on the platform.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I was looking for a team that was solid at product and marketing strategy. And a company that really focused on early-stage startups. We spoke and brainstormed several times upfront - and I realized they were a good fit.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Basically, we started by having various brainstorm sessions about the product, our target market, channel strategy and revenue model. We then developed a very targeted GTM plan with specific marketing tests and goals. Then we started executing the marketing tests, get feedback and keep adapting.

What was the team composition?

I worked directly with the Founder, David Britton, who served as advisor and strategist.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Yes, we’ve launched the platform and have quickly got adoption - with dozens of projects and already generating revenue. It’s still an uphill challenge but I’m confident that we’ll get over the hump.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very easy and collaborative. They’re very responsive and organized

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We really appreciated the unique insights around our positioning and constant stream of creative growth-hacks to spark engagement.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Overall, have nothing to say, they’ve been great.
