Our offices are in the same building. When our IT needs grew, it made sense to reach out to Paco.

We started working in April 2020, and it’s still ongoing.

Thanks to ProdigyTeks, we now have time to focus on our company. The engagement is working out well.

The project management has been excellent. ProdigyTeks is great to work with — they're very communicative and easy to get in touch with. They're experts on problem-solving, and they’ve really helped with our strategic issues.

I don’t think there’s anything they could do better. So far, it’s been great.

I’m the HR generalist at Goby Inc., an environmental social governance (ESG) platform for corporate real estate and private equity firms. We do consulting in that realm as well.
What challenge were you trying to address with ProdigyTeks?
They have helped us with a number of IT issues.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We work with ProdigyTeks regularly; they’re our third-party IT service provider. They’re very helpful, especially in this new remote world; they can help employees regardless of where they’re located. Our employees just email ProdigyTeks’ helpline, and then a representative quickly reaches out. They set up a time to remote into the employee’s computer, and then nine times out of ten, they are able to quickly resolve the problem. If our employees need additional help or have other questions, ProdigyTeks is wonderful at following up quickly and providing a resolution in the quickest manner possible.
Recently, we were locked out of a terminated employee’s computer. The employee had linked an Apple ID password that they didn’t remember the name to. ProdifyTeks’ team was so helpful in getting the computer back up and running for us.
They also help us with our cybersecurity efforts. They’re currently helping us switch to the newest Mac OS system.

How did you come to work with Artificial Creations?
I believe that they were referred to the prior team that worked at Goby before I did.
How much have you invested with them?
We invest around $8,000–$10,000 a year.
What is the status of this engagement?
They’ve been working with our company since about August 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since we don’t have an in-house IT team, ProdigyTeks is immensely helpful with anything IT-related. I’ve recently taken over the role of preparing computers for new employees, which is outside of my normal HR scope.
Paco and the ProdigyTeks team have been wonderful at answering all of my questions at the drop of a hat. They make me feel covered on all ends. They’re so helpful to all of our employees, no matter what the issue is.
How did ProdigyTeks perform from a project management standpoint?
We primarily communicate via email. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, they came to our office and assisted us with any issues, but now we communicate via our ticket system and the phone whenever needed.
They’re very proactive. They know what security we have, and they reach out ahead of time to let us know if something needs to be updated.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve been impressed by the friendly nature of all of their representatives. Also, the quick response time is the most important aspect for any IT professional, and they have never disappointed me. I don’t think we’ve ever waited more than an hour for a response.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of anything right now.
Any advice for potential customers?
Make sure that there’s a plan of attack. Your employees should know how to best get a hold of them and what your company’s policies will be. I encourage anyone to work with them.

I’m the president of Chicago Laminating. We provide laminating and coating services to the printing industry.
What challenge were you trying to address with ProdigyTeks, Inc?
Our company was looking to have a good, solid resource for IT problems as we don’t have an in-house IT team. Before we worked with ProdigyTeks, we were outsourcing to a couple of different people. However, they were unreliable, and it was difficult for them to get to us on a timely basis.
What was the scope of their involvement?
ProdigyTeks provides us with complete IT services. Their team provides IT support, both internally and monitored externally. They also handle hardware and software installation as well as take care of our network and WiFi connectivity.
What is the team composition?
We work with two people. My main point of contact is Paco (Founder).
How did you come to work with ProdigyTeks, Inc?
I believe it was a recommendation from someone else.
How much have you invested with them?
We currently spend $1,000 per month, and we also bought about $10,000 worth of hardware.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2019 on an as-needed basis but later changed to a monthly subscription. The partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their work provided a dramatic improvement over our previous situation. Most IT companies considered us too small for them. Our company has around ten computer users, and we were struggling with old equipment and technology. Whereas we previously had intermittent support, we now get constant IT support.
There have been times when their team knows about a problem before we do, so they contact us to rectify it.
How did ProdigyTeks, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
I like to be able to talk to people, so I contact ProdigyTeks mostly by phone. My office administrator certainly emails them back and forth.

The most impressive aspect is the team’s personal response. The service they provide is punctual, efficient, and excellent.

Everything their team has offered us has been an advantage. I don’t see anything that they can improve on; they do a pretty good job.

They were recommended to us by a colleague from Miami. We're a small company and we didn't want to pay too much overhead. ProdigyTeks, Inc. was competitively priced and they seemed straightforward to talk with — we were a match.
We talked with three providers, and ProdigyTeks, Inc. had the best price and they were the most accessible. We needed quick solutions, and they were also able to mobilize resources quickly.

Every time we have a problem, ProdigyTeks, Inc. solves it for us, and that's the performance indicator we focus on.
How did ProdigyTeks, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
They are very persistent and very good at solving our problems. We once had a problem with one of our SSL providers and ProdigyTeks, Inc. handled the situation. They spent a lot of time figuring it out with our provider over the phone and they were very determined to get what we needed.
We communicate mainly via email and they are responsive. They have a can-do attitude, and they are very easy to work with.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a compact operation, and so, I feel like my concerns get more attention. Other providers can’t solve problems and they end up being a waste of time. ProdigyTeks, Inc. is pretty good at finding and resolving issues.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I know they will be implementing changes to their billing method. We used to prepay for blocks of time every quarter, but they are moving to a standard time card method. The change is not necessarily my problem; I like the way it currently works and I just hope nothing gets messed up.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be knowledgeable about your needs so that you can ask them to tailor their solution to your problem. A lot of people hire IT companies without really understanding their own problems, and it takes the company longer to figure out what they really need to do. If you know what your issues are, it is easier to find somebody who can help you out.

We were having many IT problems and we needed to get those straightened out, especially going into the COVID-19 pandemic.
What was the scope of their involvement?
ProdigyTeks, Inc. offers a help desk and security package, making sure that all of our files are secure when we log in remotely. They have remote access to our files and are updating our server.

They’re absolutely wonderful. I’ve been in the industry for over 30 years and I’ve never had a company that has been as responsive and willing to help as they are.

I’m able to easily chat with them online if I have an issue, or I can call them if needed. Rosa (Head of Office Operations) is very responsive and great; everybody that I’ve come in contact with has been nothing but wonderful.

I’m not a computer person, nor is my boss, and they’re able to calmly was us through our problems and get everything resolved very quickly. They’re great at breaking everything down into a language that makes sense. Their personal service is excellent. The whole team is thoughtful, upfront, and thorough on all of their explanations and proposals.

All you have to do is give them a call because they don’t hide anything.

They were responsible for updating all of our systems, cleaning up accounts, and setting up new equipment, which we received through our parent company. They were able to get the new equipment up and running with no backlog in a matter of hours. Since then they have been provided us with ongoing managed support.

I’ve dealt with IT companies in the past where services disrupted work for days, which ended with upset customers on our end. That was not the case with ProdigyTeks, Inc. They came in like stormtroopers and did everything they said they were going to do with little to no disruption on our end. I’ve never seen anything like it before.
