Introduce your business and what you do there.
I was the senior digital producer at Mering, a full-service ad agency that did everything from highway billboards to full-blown website development and ad campaigns.
What challenge were you trying to address with The Prize?
They’re our business development and sales team. We’ve hired them a few times to connect us with potential partners for upcoming projects.
What was the scope of their involvement?
For one project in particular, we needed to find a partner that could build 4–5 landing pages for a social media campaign. Dan (Founder) set up the initial introductions. He helped us put together a scope of work, created a timeline, and met our deadlines.
After that, he sat in on our calls to make sure the relationship was going well. He regularly called to check in and make sure the teams that he recommended met our requirements. If there were any issues, he jumped in
What is the team composition?
I just worked with Dan.
How did you come to work with The Prize?
Dan worked for another agency with whom we had a strong relationship. As a result, we became very familiar with his work. Several of my employees had worked with him, so I reached out when I needed a facilitator.
How much have you invested with them?
They earn a commission through the vendors he matches me with.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around September 2018 and the project is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Dan facilitated a positive relationship between our team and the vendor. Our clients signed off on the partner we ended up working with. As a result, we were able to launch our paid media and social media campaigns. Dan is so easy to work with and is great to talk to.
