A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a management consulting firm based out of Gurugram, India. We work with clients from across the world.
What challenge were you trying to address with PRITI Research & Consultancy Limited?
Our client wanted to understand the real estate market in Bangladesh.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired PRITI to do a market research survey with end customers of real estate services in Bangladesh. We had to survey 75–100 sample households.
Our involvement was quite minimal. We provided PRITI a scope of work and required output, and they carried the majority of the task independently. We had status updates with them in-between.
What is the team composition?
Naemur (Managing Director & Lead Consultant) was our main point of contact. All our meetings were with him. They had a field person for the market survey, who specialized in the real estate sector. There were 3–5 people from PRITI involved overall.
How did you come to work with PRITI Research & Consultancy Limited?
We looked for research companies that operated in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and asked for quotes from a few of them. PRITI’s previous work showed that they had experience working in the real estate sector, and we liked what they had to offer.
How much have you invested with them?
The project cost was $4,000–$5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with PRITI between June–July 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our engagement with PRITI was very fruitful, and it was very much appreciated by our team. They provided us good insights about the market. The engagement was more than satisfactory.
We measured success based on the output that we required. We provided a questionnaire to them, and the responses we got were satisfactory, both to us and to our client. PRITI also did some data analysis on their part, and that was also great.
How did PRITI Research & Consultancy Limited perform from a project management standpoint?
We were all working from our homes because of the COVID-19 situation, and we didn’t get a chance to meet in-person with PRITI. Everything was done through online communication.
We generally had biweekly meetings over Zoom. Their output was in the form of a spreadsheet for the data, and presentations for the analysis. We didn’t use project management tools.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Naemur was quite flexible in terms of approach. We had some additional input from our end client during the project, which led to some scope changes. Naemur agreed to it without changing the budget. We also had requests to deliver results before the agreed deadline, and PRITI delivered on that aspect as well.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re a relatively new company, and their communication could’ve been more organized in some areas. We generally dealt with their managing director, and there was no project manager or other person in-between. From that perspective, they could streamline and become a bit more organized.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
PRITI delivers satisfactory results on time and on budget, and they don’t charge astronomical fees. From that perspective, they’re a good company to partner with.
My advice is to provide a detailed scope of work. PRITI generally works without much guidance, but it’s better to discuss the scope at the beginning of the engagement.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for a consulting company with offices in different parts of the world. We specialized in conducting different types of research for public and corporate clients, specifically in emerging markets.
What challenge were you trying to address with PRITI Research & Consultancy Limited?
We were conducting research on access and usage of mobile phones by persons with disabilities in Bangladesh. We hired PRITI to conduct the data collection.
What was the scope of their involvement?
PRITI was in charge of interviewing 1,000 people with disabilities in Bangladesh, as well as conducting 40 in-depth interviews. Part of the research involved checking some facts on the ground, such as whether we needed ethical clearance.
What is the team composition?
There were two core team members, including Naemur (Managing Director), and there was a team of about 30 interviewers.
How did you come to work with PRITI Research & Consultancy Limited?
We were looking for a data collection partner in Bangladesh, and we found PRITI online. We had a call with Naemur, and we could see that they were very reactive and knowledgeable. We asked them for a few client references and contacted those clients before bringing them on.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested between $15,000–$20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Data collection took place between July–August 2019, but we started the project and signed the contract in late-May of that year.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I was on the ground with them in Bangladesh to monitor the fieldwork, we performed quality checks on the data, and we conducted independent callbacks. I could see with my own eyes that the data collection was being done properly.
How did PRITI Research & Consultancy Limited perform from a project management standpoint?
As with any data collection project, not everything was perfect, especially on such a complex topic, but I found PRITI to be both reactive and proactive. They really tried to find solutions when we were facing issues on the ground. We identified some issues with the data, but they were transparent and willing to make corrections.
We’re working with a number of data collection partners around the world, and I was very satisfied with PRITI’s work and way of handling things.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very resourceful. Each time there was something unexpected, they were responsive and strived to find a solution to get things done.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There were small things like the scripting of the questionnaire. We had a few issues there. PRITI is a relatively new company, and they could improve by hiring more professional developers.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
PRITI is a very reliable company to work with, and they have reasonable pricing. I’d encourage clients to work with them, and I’ll hire them again if I ever have a Bangladesh project.
PRITI Research & Consultancy Limited provided excellent insights into the market. Their team was flexible and easy to work with, even in a remote setting. They delivered their work on time and within budget.
