Website Design & Development for Esports Company
“Their flexibility, communication, and reactiveness are their key strengths.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the project manager at Winners.Net, which is part of the World Intersports Network (WIN) Group. We’re a company that’s focused on the esports industry.
What challenge were you trying to address with Priotix?
We needed help with web design and development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Priotix built an affiliate website from scratch for us, which we launched in North America and Europe. Their team focused on developing the site, while our internal team focused on marketing and SEO.
They started by taking our idea and working on our specifications. They designed the site and then delivered an MVP. The site itself was designed using React and integrated into the existing backend that we built for other products. We shared that backend technology with them along with the CMS.
We launched the website in July 2020, and we’ve been constantly improving it through multiple iterations. Currently, we’re on its second iteration.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with six people in total. A project manager from their side works with their team and is directly in touch with us. Apart from him, we also work with their CTO, and the development team consists of four people on average.
How did you come to work with Priotix?
We’ve worked with Priotix on other projects within the WIN Group. We were happy with the results they provided, so we had no need for other solution providers. When they stepped into this project, they already had a general experience working with us.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $50,000–$60,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
They started developing the product in April 2020, and our partnership is ongoing. While we’ll be transitioning away from Priotix to a new platform, we’re currently collaborating with them for maintenance and bug fixes.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The product itself is quite simple and doesn’t have many user flows. On top of that, each user flow is quite simple — Priotix has done each of them well. Overall, the website is fast and has been performing excellently well. We’re happy with how it’s working, and all metrics we’ve been monitoring are looking good.
We’re currently focused on marketing, and we’ve seen good reviews. We’ve also done extensive user interviews to further improve the product as we receive feedback or suggestions. Overall, we’re happy with the project’s results.
How did Priotix perform from a project management standpoint?
Our communication with them is great. We talk mainly through Jira and Slack, and we’ve had daily calls with them. We work using agile methodology, and so our teams are on point all the time; we’re facing the same direction. Our company is happy with how the process goes. Timelines are respected, and the overall collaboration has been great.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their flexibility, communication, and reactiveness are their key strengths. They’re fast, so we can expect a good level of service. Moreover, their openness to change has been great; they find solutions to problems.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. Online gambling and esports are new industries, so there’s a specific learning curve when doing projects. However, since we’ve worked with Priotix, they’ve already gained experience.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Set up the right toolsets and make sure that you’re in touch with the Priotix team all the time. Since they’re an outsourced company, make sure that you’re on point all the time. Using Jira and Slack has been truly helpful for us on top of their great communication — we’ve had no problems at all, and they feel like a part of our team. In other words, make sure you have good communication to get good results.

E-Commerce Mobile App Platform Development for Startup
"Priotix provided long-term solutions to the technical problems we gave them."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a technical lead at SkyLog, a startup company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Priotix?
We needed support with the development of our shopping platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Priotix developed our platform, consisting of two mobile applications, two back-office apps, and the backend of the system.
The project had two major phases: the construction of the MVP to take to market, and the construction of a ready-for-production product. Both were based on agile processes.
The two mobile applications are compatible with Android and iOS, and the back-office component manages the shops, products, users, and more. The backend manages the entire platform. Priotix developed all four parts from scratch, and provided QA services as well. From our end, we provided UI/UX designs, user stories, and feature requirements.
The shopping platform has traditional features like adding products to the card, making purchases, user registration, and importing products from different shops. It’s a multi-shop platform where users can easily find and buy products from their preferred shops. We feature a nontraditional capability—trading. There’s also a wishlist functionality, which is connected to social media, and a search tool.
What is the team composition?
We engaged directly with five developers from Priotix.
How did you come to work with Priotix?
After searching for local development companies, I found Priotix. They had a good backend team, and following our initial discussions it was clear they could deliver strong architecture. Their technical knowledge along with their company culture were our main reasons for partnering with them.
How much have you invested with them?
The project cost was $100,000–$120,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The development took place from July 2019–March 2020. We’re currently in the maintenance phase.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Priotix provided long-term solutions to the technical problems we gave them. They managed to both deliver the MVP features on time, as well as improve them and add more functionalities along the way. The responsiveness of the whole team has been great, including now, in the maintenance phase.
How did Priotix perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management was done by us, but the technical team leads from their side were engaged in those flows. In general, they were able to easily communicate, understand our problems, and provide solutions quickly. We had daily standup meetings and weekly sprint planning.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Compared to other companies that I’ve worked with, Priotix’s professional background was really strong, in terms of the technologies used and the solutions provided. Also, they stood out in terms of the transparency of their work, their reporting, how they attended meetings, and how we planned the work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We may see some improvements once we’ve increased the size of the team. They may have to improve the professional backgrounds of the QA engineers. In general, the experience with them has been good.

Online Content Portal Dev for E-Sports Media Company
"They’re very agile, and I like that."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of World Intersports Network Inc., an e-sports media company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Priotix?
We didn’t have any development resources, but we needed to our online content portal. It’s a massive media website with around 76,000 pages.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We began with a one-month discovery phase. They developed our online content portal from scratch, building our CoreUI-based custom CMS. They’re using React, Redux, Webpack, Node.js, MongoDB, and GitHub as well as Swagger for documentation. For the CMS, they’re using Zoho. We communicate through Apache Cocoon.
We launched the portal in October but are still working with them on a month-to-month contract for new development. There are things we need to add continually, so the team works full-time on our project.
What is the team composition?
There’s a product owner on their end coordinating with our product owner. There’s also a support database person, a support admin person, and a CTO. There were originally 12 people on the team, which we just increased to 17 full-time.
How did you come to work with Priotix?
We did research and shortlisted 10 companies. We put together an RFP and found that what Priotix gave us was best in terms of price and tech stack. We were really comfortable with the technology solutions that they suggested.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $215,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2018, and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We haven’t done any promotion or monetized the platform yet and won’t until we have a decent number of visitors. We’re focusing on perfecting the product but are starting to get traffic. From month to month, the traffic is growing 100%, which is a good increase.
We’re happy with the product. The CTO on our end is working and coordinating with them. We did a code review, and the results were very good—it’s a clean job.
How did Priotix perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Jira and Slack. They’re fully agile doing all the standups, which is one of the reasons we selected them. Due to the time difference, we have to wake up early for them, or they have to stay up a bit later to overlap so we can crosscheck the work. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s a consideration.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re flexible when I want things that weren’t planned. They’re very agile, and I like that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
E-sports is a new industry that not many people are familiar with unless they’re gamers. In the beginning, they had to understand what was going on and what the game mechanics are, which we knew any company would need too. The reason I went to the month-to-month deal with them is that they know e-sports and our needs now. It would be really difficult for me to hire a new company and educate them with all the industry knowledge, then bringing them in line with our vision so far.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Work in an agile methodology and use tools like Jira for project management and Slack for communication. The tools are important.

IoT Dev for Security Surveillance System
“They’ve gone above and beyond in working with our partners to make the best product possible.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of 1-Ring, an IoT company that focuses on home surveillance systems. We’re currently manufacturing a product called Moon, a smart camera that integrates with IoT home systems.
What challenge were you trying to address with Priotix?
Given the unique nature of our product, there wasn’t a ready solution for what we were looking to accomplish. We asked Priotix to build custom software for our product, both the inside hardware and also for the servers, applications, and web browsers.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The Priotix team started by creating a roadmap and making sure to understand all our requirements for the product software. They then created the application that accompanies the hardware and wrote all the drivers necessary for the hardware itself. Some of their processes are dependent on our hardware team’s progress, but we’re figuring out those pieces now. They’ve done a great job at managing our expectations and solving problems quickly. They also created a promotional video for the product, which was not included in the original scope of work.
What is the team composition?
We work with a project manager and two chief architects. They’re in constant communication with our team and the head of our hardware department. I also have weekly meetings with them regarding the business aspects of the engagement.
How did you come to work with Priotix?
They came highly recommended to us.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $50,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in Summer 2016, and the project is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re currently waiting on several developments from our hardware team, but they’ve been working on the application and integrations with other systems. We keep our hardware and software teams very close, and Priotix has done a great job working collaboratively with our team.
They’re also effective in identifying potential problems and explaining them clearly in a way that allows us to immediately start planning solutions. They’ve gone above and beyond in working with our partners to make the best product possible. We were also very happy with the video they produced, which made it clear that they are vested in our success.
How did Priotix perform from a project management standpoint?
They shared their project plan with me, and I’m able to observe their process at any time. They're doing very well; I have no problem with their management of the process. We use several project management tools and regularly communicate face-to-face.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re very invested in our project and always want to learn more about the process. They try to be in contact with our support team and marketing team to understand all aspects of the project and our business. They work outside of their planned scope, which we’ve really appreciated.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re working faster than our hardware teams, so I have no complaints as of now.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Describe the details of your project and be as specific as possible. When you have specifications that they can’t meet right away, they’ll ramp up their resources until they can meet every requirement. We needed a programmer that could write code for our hardware drivers and Priotix was able to find a resource for us within a week.

Mobile App Dev for Eye Care Platform
“I’m amazed … . They really know how to write extremely clean code.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Brainbooth is engaged in creating healthcare and mobile applications. Our most popular app is Eye Care Plus, which improves vision through virtual eye exercises and therapy training. We’re also an IT company. I’m mostly engaged with internal operations.
What challenge were you trying to address with Priotix?
We didn’t have expertise in mobile development since we’re a digital marketing company that focuses on healthcare. We turned to Priotix as the key partner in developing our apps.
What was the scope of their involvement?
There was a product owner who was an acceptance person, and we had some requirements to figure out. Our ophthalmologists were working full-time with Priotix’s software developers to create the right app that met our specificifications. Priotix fully developed the app, and we completely relied on their expertise.
Eye Care Plus has six personalized training programs that our certified ophthalmologists created, each of which address specific eye problems and diseases. There are color games that improve vision accuracy, as well as a lot of content we’ve created on the website.
Priotix helped us digitalize the mobile app. There are learning centers that educate users on eye problems, disease, emergency situations, healthy lifestyles, and recipes to improve eyesight. There is also an “ask a doctor” section which helps users ask our ophthalmologists questions.
The app was developed for Android first. We did several iterations per Priotix’s suggestions. They offered to do some pilot projecting and user experience tests on one platform, then replicate it to iOS. They stated that it was better to fail in one platform rather than do continuous development on both platforms just to fail in both places.
They also helped us recruit one iOS and one Android specialist because all of the content was being developed in-house.
What is the team composition?
Our main contact was Wolf [Business Analyst, Priotix], who was also the project manager. We also interacted with Lusine [CEO, Priotix]. We only provided product management and ophthalmology doctors from our side.
How did you come to work with Priotix?
A friend of mine in the IT industry had a positive experience working with Priotix, and he suggested them to us. They very proactive in responding and setting up meetings. It was a pretty positive experience, even during initial discussions.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $120,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from early 2015 until early 2016. We’re not ongoing customers, but they still keep a good relationship with us.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve had more than 900,000 downloads on Google Play. They also helped us launch on iOS and Xiaomi stores, but these aren’t reflected in that metric. We have 100,000 monthly active users (MAU), as well as 11,000 daily active users (DAU). We have more than a 60% customer return rate.
Priotix is paranoid about retaining code quality. They showed us how they do internal cross and code reviews to keep all the conversion styles. We never even thought to do a code audit from an external specialist since their code quality and application performance are at such high levels.
I’m amazed. They really know how to write extremely clean code. They handle the process which actually shows how well the code is working and how well the project is documented. It was all very smooth. Our support team didn’t even have to ask additional questions about what was written because everything was so well documented.
How did Priotix perform from a project management standpoint?
They are extremely talented and put an extra effort in for us that wasn’t required in the contract. They’re very involved with Scrum methodology, and they also educated us about it. They’re very organized, and their sprint planning was ideal. The project management was proactive and informative. We were almost always at the same level of understanding. There were some issues that arose during project implementation, but it was solved quickly and in a proactive way.
We used Skype at the beginning of our relationship, but then completely shifted to Trello and Slack for communication. We also used Google Hangouts. They taught us how to use Slack, and we now use it internally. We gained a lot from them as well.
They always reached out to make sure we were doing okay and if there was anything they could help with. They did all of this free of charge.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were quick to respond to problems or proof of concept tasks. The speed at which they work and their level of communication amazed me. If there was a problem, they were always the first to bring it to orientation. They always came up with a solution and offered options to us.
They’re good problem solvers. It was a very positive experience. We’ve had other contractors before, but this has been one of our best experiences with outsourcing internal activities.
Lusine was also always very helpful in reaching out and making sure everything was going smoothly. Her personal involvement in the project in terms of customer nurturing was really helpful.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They have room to improve in the user experience area, but they’re working on it. They’ve been inviting some people from outside to train them. They knew where they had some drawbacks and are working to eliminate them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Priotix is the best provider to go with when it comes to complicated solutions. What really excites this company is solving complex projects. If it’s something simple, they will do it, but they’re more excited about harder challenges.
The website is performing well and meets the client’s expectations. Priotix’s communication enables them to execute tasks well. They’re able to adjust to changes and find solutions to any issues while respecting the project’s timelines. As a result, the collaboration has been great and successful.
