The Anfield Wrap is a media organisation that shares the experience of supporting Liverpool FC through podcasts, video and writing. I work there as Head of Brand and Marketing.
For what projects/services did your company hire Priority Outdoor?
We hired Priority Outdoor as consultants and media buyers for our outdoor activity in different cities around the UK - they looked after the whole process for us as this was our first time spending on outdoor advertising.
What were your goals for this project?
This was a brand building campaign first and foremost, we wanted to ensure that our adverts we seen by Liverpool fans around the UK and shared on social media to drive awareness of the brand, differentiate ourselves from other LFC podcasts and to drive app downloads.
How did you select Priority Outdoor?
I found them on google search, i liked the work they had done before and found their website easy to navigate.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We had a series of meetings and calls with Priority, they understood exactly what we were trying to achieve and were able to consult on ideas around the campaign, different outdoor options, specific locations and how we could scale up to meet our objectives. They took on the buying process and made the whole campaign much easier for us to manage and implement.
What was the team composition?
We spoke with Dave throughout the process and he looked after everything for us.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We gained positive PR amongst the media, we saw tens of millions of impressions from pictures of our billboards being shared on social media and saw a spike in our app downloads during the time in which we advertised. It was a success and during a time with much less footfall because of the pandemic.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very effective, they couldn't have been more helpful, on call when needed and quick communication. We worked really well and i wouldn't hesitate to do so again - we've already been back in touch with Priority about campaigns this year.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their speed and patience were the reason for the project's success. They were with us at the beginning when we weren't 100% sure exactly what cities and locations we were going to target - they were so helpful in helping us with that process and educating us too!
