We are an ECommerce retailer and I’m the Senior software Engineer.

For what projects/services did your company hire Position1.com, and what were your goals?

Migrate from Woocommerce to Shopify and update templates and design. Problem was to migrate 15k skus and content from old Woocommerce platform and iodate new look and feel to Shopify backend

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Looked for agencies that had experience with both Wordpress and Shopify. Agency that had experience dealing with massive catalogs. Nick at Position1 discussed 29 years of his experience working with hundreds of Manufacuturers and brands, plus dealing with large product catalogs of top brands with 10k to 100k skus and up to 1 million sku databases.

His extensive knowledge of not only Woocomerce and Shopify was impressive but his background in ECommerce and digital marketing helped to make us feel comfortable about migrating with help from someone that’s been through it many times before.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Position1 was tasked with migrating our ECommerce store from woocommerce to Shopify including 20k skus. Also redesigning website with modern theme and templates, plus install live chat, faceted search, analytics, Erp integration and about 30 other 3rd party scripts or add-ones. Project took about 60 days from start to finish. Few hiccups along the way but position1 worked through them and resolved.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with 3 team members at Posititiin1, Nick as lead, Amy as our client success manager and Kirk as our migration manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Migrated from Woocomerce to Shopify without any issues. We are 10x faster sure on Shopify. Currently tuning SEO and working in branding with Position1.

We had weekly if not daily communication via email, Skype, Zoom and Phone Calls to discuss projects and timelines. Position onThee used Monday, Basecamp and Calendly to collaborate.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Nick and his team are very professional and Knowledgeable in all areas of Marketing and Web Development. If they didn’t have the solution, they would find one. Great problem solvers!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Only place to improve is more in person meetings. But with Covid happening and restrictions, I can understand why this was not possible.

Honestly I cannot elaborate any further other than we got the much needed help we needed and it was very custom for our needs at the time.
